Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a new bridge, and now it is time for you to post until the bridging cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: QUINCENTENARY!
-
First post after BK!
-
BK, to what e-mail address do Indiegogo 10-CD Perk contributors send our lists?
-
Time for sleep.
Good night and have a good day, all!

Good Morning, all!
-
I slept rather well. Thatch protected me all night, and Annabelle never left her Fancy Feast carton.
-
I remember bits and pieces of two dreams.
The first was unsettling: my sister (!)was having major financial problems and a someone and I killed ourselves with a bomb. After I was dead. there were several dead relatives in the dream.
-
Good morning, all.
-
In the second I was dressed in dark brown corduroy trousers, blue shirt and tie to do some work at Rodgers & Hammerstein on 28th Street while my friend Bruce Pomahac took a vacation or maybe it was a research trip for Encores? The first part of my dream was getting there and the second part was seeing friends who worked there. When I woke, I was in a discussion of adding Mack and Mabel to the R&H theatre catalog.
-
Good morning, all.
-
My dream (at 4:40 in the morning — ask me how I know) was another weird blending of some musical element with an action being attempted, having to do with getting into some space... It’s basically gone now, with but a ghost of one image remaining.
-
Good morning!
-
I was just thinking about this the other day. When I was still working the day job, a great many of my dreams involved Excel spreadsheets in conjunction with whatever the dream seemed to be about. Those were equally hard to define. They kept going for a while, and lately are replaced by the weird musical ones.

Good morning.

I had a dream last night -- quite rare for me. I had purchased some concert tickets for a concert downtown and left them in the glove compartment of the car so I wouldn't lose them. I had taken my car in for service, and they lost my car. So I had to miss the concert.
-
My governmental interaction yesterday was successful....
Good :)

I'm up, I'm up - I think I got close to eight hours of sleep.

Must have been prompted by Vixdad's car experience. I am glad it was only a dream.

DR LAURA that sounds like something real that would happen to DR VIXMOM.

The head guy came out to look at our complaints. They are going to continue finishing it instead of pulling out the work we are unhappy with, and understand if we are not happy with the finished results it will be redone :-\
Fingers crossed for a miracle that we will be pleased.
-
Kritzerland's gmail is fine.
Thanks, BK! E-mail has been sent!
-
Been getting all the tracks onto the laptop and into iTunes and their own playlist.
-
Porgy and Bess have both arrived here in New York.
-
We love having "The Last Starfighter" CD on the same label as "Porgy and Bess."
-
I think a medley of "I've Got Plenty of Nothin'" and "I Wanna Be Somebody Who Goes Somewhere and Does Something" could work, maybe?
-
Or maybe not. :)
-
My governmental interaction yesterday was successful....
Great news, Jrand!

Thursday afternoon greetings! I was outta here early this morning to meet my former co-worker Sue for coffee and a visit. Stopped at the grocery on the way home and have been puttering all afternoon. I'm getting ready for a girls' weekend in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with my sister, my niece, and her friend. We're going to a papercrafting expo together.

Here's this week's big news from Middletown: Ron Howard Spotted in Middletown (http://www.journal-news.com/entertainment/celebrity-news/filmmaker-ron-howard-spotted-middletown/P6sSXY3mbDGpb990WY5mdI/).
Apparently, he was in town prepping to produce and direct the film adaptation of Hillbilly Elegy. I hope he discovered Middletown isn't the hellhole the book portrays.
-
My governmental interaction yesterday was successful....
You got out of jury duty?
-
TOD: Peter Pan Goes Wrong
-
Rehearsal begins in thirty minutes. I've already shaved and showered and put everything in the motor car that needs to go to the theater tonight.

And now, I'm off to work concessions for Shoshana Bean – Spectrum: Soulful Standards (https://www.washingtoncenter.org/event/shoshana-1810/). She's actually from Olympia! I'm sure tonight's concert will be good. :)
Be back later!

Is anyone watching season 4 of Poldark?

Hoping you're pleased with what they do!!!
-
Is anyone watching season 4 of Poldark?
Not yet. Haven't had time. Is it good?
-
Watching Ganja and Hess, a 1960s black vampire movie. It's really good, but I doubt I have the concentration for it.
-
I think I just need to go soak again.
-
Where is everyone today?
-
Did the Christmas topic send everyone shopping?
-
I hope JRand is enjoying A Star Is Born.
-
I might try to see that Saturday.
-
Dance class was intense. Two hours working on the same waltz steps over and over. And they're still not comfortable.
-
The library got in Willie Nelson's latest album, My Way, a collection of his favorite Frank Sinatra songs.
-
I think I'll give it a listen while I soak.
-
He does some of my favorites of Frank's, Fly Me to the Moon and Summer Wind, as well some songs that others sang better than Frank ever dreamed of: Night and Day, What Is This Thing Called Love, Blue Moon.
-
He does What Is This Thing Called Love with Norah Jones, who, I learned recently, is Ravi Shankar's daughter.

Thank you. They should be done tomorrow and then we will decide.

So far, yes.

Page THREE? Stop the madness - REALLY! Stop the MADNESS!
-
What a long day. Kritzerland rehearsal was great, and so was our third music rehearsal and we all love our new cast member. But we let another cast member go, a male - we knew he wasn't happy - the reason? He thought he'd have a solo song. I just sit in wonderment sometimes.
-
Then I stopped at Taco Bell for some food - I hadn't eaten much of anything - and I was in that place for fifteen minutes because apparently 9:50 is the time when everyone and their damn mother needs Taco Bell.
-
Listening to music.
-
Good evening.
-
Are you kidding me??
-
Page three? Really?
-
Less than 45 minutes until midnight.
-
Today was a very pretty autumn day.
-
Blue skies and 60 degrees.
-

-
I cancelled lunch with friend, Sharry, today.

Well, the Shoshana Bean concert was FABULOUS!
-
Hi, Tom.
-
It wasn't sold out like Stills & Collins, but the people who were there LOVED it and her!
-
She was born in Olympia, and still has family (and former teachers) here.
-
She sang some standards.
-
Some songs that I had never heard of.
-
I was not feeling very well today.
-
Just before the last song at the end of the first act, she had an audience participation moment.
-
I was not feeling very well today.
Oh, no! :(
-
Hi, George.
-
Shoshana had the house lights turned up, then asked the audience for songs that she would sing.
-
I am glad you enjoyed the Shawshank Bean concert.
-
Mostly, she sang just a few lines and at times changed keys mid-song because she sang them a cappella.
-
;)
-
Tomorrow I have to decide on whether I want to audition for a Christmas show.
-
But she was so good.
-
Tomorrow I have to decide on whether I want to audition for a Christmas show.
I have an audition on Sunday for A Christmas Story. That would be cool if we both were in shows at the same time! Hopefully, we could see each other's shows, if it happened.
-
My friend Margo sold merchandise.
-
I just don’t know if I want to do another play.
-
She had a tote bag, her latest CD, a poster and a USB drive that had MP3 files of all four of her CDs (sadly, only one had a digital booklet), plus bootleg recordings of things...and she announced that it contained quite a few "illegal" files. ;)
-
Everything except the tote bags were signed!
-
She didn't come out after the show to sign, but everything was signed already.
-
And they were very obviously NOT printed signatures...they were all real!
-
I bought the USB drive.
-
Here's the front...it's actually bamboo:
-
And here's her signature on the back:
-
It also contains lead sheets of some songs that she's written and a few others that she didn't ("How Deep is the Ocean?" is one I looked at).
-

This isn't the same dress that she wore tonight, but it's kind of like it. It was red, a little too long, but there were off-the-shoulder sleeves.
-
And she was showing much more cleavage. ::)
-
;)
-
And her hair is longer.
-
The first act was just about 50 minutes.
-
There was a 20 minute intermission, and the second act was about 40 minutes.
-
Definitely a full evening of singing.
-
This weekend is Arts Walk Festival, here in Olympia.
-
It's a twice-a-year, two-day festival celebrating art of all kinds.
-
The Washington Center for the Performing Arts has art hanging all over the theater lobby and this weekend, people can come in for free and look around.
-
This weekend is Arts Walk Festival, here in Olympia.
What does that mean exactly?
-
A LOT of places have events and art to show. Here are a couple of links with information:

Thank you for answering before I asked!
-
In the spring, part of that event is the Procession of the Species (http://www.procession.org/). That's a lot of fun, too.

Timing...it's all in the timing! ;)
-
But not a lot of theater?
-
Well, George, this good night.
-
But not a lot of theater?
You mean as part of Arts Walk? Sometimes. Here's a paragraph from the Oly Arts article:
Think of Arts Walk as a weekend-long street party, with live music, theatrical performances and the conversion of downtown Olympia into one big gallery. It’s a showcase for the best of local arts and culture, a highlight of Thurston County’s cultural calendar. Take your time and enjoy every last stop on the tour, punctuated by nibbles and drinks from Oly’s best eateries. We bet you’ll find art that’ll make you doubly glad you’re a resident of one of the Pacific Northwest’s cultural capitals.
-
Well, George, this good night.
Good night, Tom.
