Well, you've read the notes, the notes were melodic and ordered, and now it is time for you to post until the melodic and ordered cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: SENTIENT!
-
And for those who may not always read the notes, the new book is up for pre-order - link is in the notes or just go to the Kritzerland site.
-
DR TCB could you have begun cooking again in that kitchen?
-
After attempting to make that last post 3 times it finally dawned on me I needed to leave Saturday.
-
Tom I am sorry you couldn't buy the condo you hated.
-
I know too well what that feels like.
-
Gratuitous post #7!

Have a good day, all!

-
Good morning, all.

Good morning, all!

I am quite depressed over this email mess. I am also quite angry with myself for not keeping both the old and new versions in my Apps when I downloaded the new upgrade and quite angry at SeaMonkey for saying screw you! to its users by not giving a damn if you needed to hold onto your old emails or not.
-
So, what a shitty weekend!
-
I'd be beside myself over that kind of a mess. Can't even imagine.
-
Vibes for DR ELMORE. Can you get your emails on your phone?
-
Book ordered!
-
They have said snow....today.....there is a also a board meeting scheduled for 2 p.m. - but I don't think I shall attend in case the snow starts.....later and/or while I am there.

Show vibes for MR BK & Co.
-
Closing day DOLLY! vibes for DR CHAS SMITH.
How did the Waiters' Gallop turn out?
-
Turned out fine, even if they did something (drawing upon the revival version) that isn't exactly kosher.
-
Good Morning to all
-
Good morning.
-
Vibes for DR ELMORE. Can you get your emails on your phone?
I get them on my webmail server I use when I'm out of town. What I cannot access is my stored emails from the past.
-
Now I understand your problem. I have the same issue on my tablet.
-
Sometimes, not always. It is frustrating.
-
Back from church

We had our usual lovely egg sandwiches from Rick's Place

I am glad not to be one that needs snow vibes. It was windy on our shorter than usual 2.5 mile walk. At times I hung on to Keith to keep balance me a bit better.

That damn wind is bringing down the temperature by ten degrees.

I can't believe you are off to a spaghetti dinner and bingo when you are expecting 4 to 6 inches of snow.

We must get off this page.

The grass is still showing through what snow we got here - and it didn't stick on the roads and sidewalks.
However we have predictions of below zero temps for tonight and Monday and Monday night......

I went to the office today to work.

Not my idea of a way to spend a Sunday.
-
I shall now be on my way to Vitello's for sound check and then show.
-
My friend Heller has never got back to me about this email mess. Tomorrow morning I am seeing my ophthalmologist on 22nd Street. I may walk over to Mike's Tech Shop on 20th Street and talk to them. I really do not want to schlep the computer down there, but I may have no choice if they won't come to me.

Do you get more work done going in on a Sunday?

We had salad, spaghetti and meatballs, Italian bread, cake with chocolate pudding filling and butter cream icing
-
We played five rounds of Bingo with several winners on each round
-
I won on the 4th and 5th rounds
-
The first prize I won was a basket with two hand painted wine glasses and a bottle of merlot

The second was a Hermes handbag

Nice.
-
The snow was just beginning as we were leaving the church at 7
-
Not that I would ever drink the merlot. I prefer not to have a headache, plus I truly do not like red wine.
-
The second was a Hermes handbag
Photos would be appreciated.

Sunday evening greetings! Sorry to have been E & T since last Wednesday. We've been kind of busy with fun and informative events. Wednesday evening we went to the library where my career began for this semester's first National Parks lecture by the campus geology professor. Her topic was Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior - quite interesting but too remote for me.
-
I was away all day Thursday. Spent the morning with Rebecca, breakfasting and catching up on each other's lives. I went from there to a current events discussion on populism in Europe and from there to have my hair cut and styled.
-
Friday Richard and I went to a noontime concert at our former church - Nancy James' tribute to Rosemary Clooney - and to lunch at a new downtown restaurant called the Swire Inn. We'd heard good things about it and will definitely go back.
-
Yesterday morning we attended great-nephew Timothy's crossover into Boy Scouts and went out to lunch with his parents, siblings, grandma, and aunt. We came home for naps and then headed to Oxford for the annual Yamauchi Lecture at Miami University. The speaker was a very thought-provoking astrophysicist named Jennifer Wiseman.
-
Richard went to church this morning while I enjoyed some solitude. After lunch we went to Miami Middletown for a concert by the Southwest Ohio Symphonic Band, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. They honored the founder, Richard's former co-worker Bill Stiehl, and 2 musicians who have been with the band all 50 years, Earl Jones and Sam Ashworth. These names will mean something to DR Elmore.

Vibes for BK and company.

And from me!
-
Wow Ginny, it sounds like your had a wonderful few days
-
That was a lot of fun and informative events, no wonder you were E & T.
-
Thanks, DRs Vixmom and Jane! And the best part - all of those events, except for the meals and haircut, were FREE!
-

DR Elmore, one word: G-mail.

I like G-mail.

I love gmail.

Not my idea of a way to spend a Sunday.
Do you get more work done going in on a Sunday?
The work I had to do stemmed from something that came up after 4 p.m. Friday and relates to a meeting taking place at 10 a.m. tomorrow. If the change outlined goes into effect as is, I'm quite possibly screwed in my ability to do my job effectively. My supervisor needed us to get ideas to her as to how to deal with this and so we would be able to present a united front, as several of my co-workers could face the same. Since my area right now outperforms their two areas combined (I also have Krista's workload for the next five months), it would have less effect on them, but would still have a negative impact. It would also really have a hard impact on our writers.
It did help that nobody was in the office today and that the free Starbucks machine was working.
-
In short, I could use a vibe or two to get through tomorrow's meeting.
-
Not my idea of a way to spend a Sunday.

;D
I can add a smiley face to that. In the seven years I've been at USAA, it's only the second time I've had to work on a weekend. The toher was an emergency and was understandable.
-

Sounds wonderful. Bet the music was great.
-
tonight was volunteer appreciation night at the performing arts center. They showed Crazy Rich Asians to a predominately older white crowd.
-
Since we could bring guests along, I brought my friend Gail, who really enjoyed the movie. I did, too, but perhaps not quite as much.
-
It reminded me of a Garry Marshall movie but without his memorable flourishes. And maybe just a tad too much conspicuous consumption.
-
I did love the music, however. From the quickstep during the opening to crazy Asian versions of things like Like a Virgin, I found the music lively and fun.
-
Then we went and had pizza.
-
Back from a really great Kritzerland show - more in the notes. I am EXHAUSTED. And at the moment I barely have any voice left, but I'm not talking until Tuesday so hopefully all will be well by then.
-
Page four? Really?
-
In short, I could use a vibe or two to get through tomorrow's meeting.
I was thinking that while reading your post.
-
Enjoy your long day.
Thanks, Jane! It definitely was a long day!

MANY WORK VIBES FOR DR JOHN AND A SUCCESSFUL MEETING TOMORROW!
-
Well, my day started (after getting up and getting ready and leaving my house) with my first rehearsal at 9:00 for Bunbury.

I want to see it again to relive Singapore.

(However, I haven't read any of today's posts yet, so I don't know why, but you still have my vibes! ;D )
-
Enjoy your long day.
Thanks, Jane! It definitely was a long day1
Yes but did you enjoy it?
-
Yes, I did.
-
The morning rehearsal was more adding of tracks (images and audio) to the sound board program, and making sure that they work. We only got through the first act before we had to start the cue-to-cue with the actors.
-
We got through the first and I adjusted things as we went through it. The second act had most of the audio tracks, but not all of the images.
-
By the time I had to leave to go to my union meeting at 12:45, we had started into the second act and Marko, the director's husband and co-sound designer with pug the director, took over for me until I got back. I was only gone about an hour and a half.
-
Yes, I did.
Good 😊
-
When I got back, they were ready to start an actual run. Most of the second act was still missing, but it wasn't difficult for the actors to adjust to what was(n't) happening. ;)
-
We did a full run of the show and got through it without any great mishaps. A couple of set changes got missed (and quickly fixed), and one actor went up on his lines (not horribly, though), but it went relatively well, all things considered. I really can't wait to see the whole show in all its glory! It's going to be really good.
-
We ended at about 4:45 pm, and I and a couple of the actors had to leave because we were involved in the reading at Olympia Family Theater.
-
We all assembled an hour before the The Alphabet Caper started and ran (for the first time with the entire cast! :o ) most of the group numbers. I didn't run my two songs (one solo and one duet), but we should've run the duet because the woman I sang it with and I had never actually sung it together. ::)
-
Anyway, the audience was let into the theater (it was quite a nice sized crowd) and the writer made his announcements explaining what was going on, and we started the show. For the most part, it went quite well. I'm not in love with the show (I think a lot of it is too sophisticated for the target audience), but the audience tonight seemed to really enjoy it.
-
My duet wasn't perfect (I goobered a bit), but we got through it. I also had a line that I didn't highlight, so I didn't realize that I needed to continue with a speech, but since the actor in that scene didn't speak, I finally realized that my line actually continued! SPOO! But I think it actually worked, dramatically (that's my story and I'm sticking to it ;) ).
-
We got a great response from the audience, so the authors were please. There was a talk-back after the show, but I was driving my friend Margo home, so we didn't stay. I hope that went well.
-
Definately a long busy day.
-
After I dropped off Margo, I was hungry, but wasn't interested in making something at home, so I went to the Wendy's close to her house. She just wanted to go home, so I went and brought my Kindle in. I ate and read and then came home, fed my cat, took my evening meds, and now will ketchup on the rest of today's posts. :)
-
Well, no one can say we didn't get to page five.
-
Definately a long busy day.
Yup!

Oh, my goodness! Good luck, John!!

I'm now going to watch last night's Saturday Night Live, with host John Mulaney, who co-wrote and starred in the recent Documentary Now episode that spoofs the documentary, Original Cast Album - Company (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004YKS8/).
-
Your long day was interesting.

Good evening.

George, I am glad the reading went well.

Comfort vibes for DR John!

I don’t have much to say tonight.
-
I bought some Girl Scout Cookies.
-
Tagalongs, of course.
-
I haven’t opened them yet.
-
I would open them right now, but they are in the kitchen and I am not.
-
I am in bed with a sleeping kitty next to me.
-
Isn't it a bit late to be snacking?
-
I am in bed with a sleeping kitty next to me.
Sweet.
-
I bought some Girl Scout Cookies.
What a coinkydink! Yesterday at the Alphabet Caper rehearsal, there were some girl scouts selling cookies just two doors down from the theater space.
-
The other coinkydink is that my sister just happened to call me when we had a break, asking if I would go to Fred Meyer to buy her some girl scout cookies. I said that I'm downtown and there are some being sold right here! She said, "get me one box of each!" I confirmed that she really did want eight different boxes of cookies and she said yes, so I bought them. When I went to her house after yesterday's Bunbury rehearsal, she was very happy (and she paid me back).
-
:D

You got that right!

So, George, tomorrow is just work and nothing else?
-
I usually donate to the scouts outside the markets. Unfortunately for them I have not had any money on me the last few times I saw them.
-
Isn't it a bit late to be snacking?
It is never too late for Girl Scout Cookies.
Eating before going to bed is not the best time to eat.

Now I am hungry.

Bruce the photos on fb are very nice.
