BK, congrats on the reader announcement! Diana Canova sounds like a great choice, for all the reasons.
Last night, while we watched a Midsomer Murders episode - we're on season 18 now - Stella kept eating my popcorn.
I think we have now reached the tolerance phase: Annabelle and Thatch, depending on their mood, either play with her or ignore her. When they tire of her, they run away. Thatch has begun to correct her, and Stella seems to be learning that playtime is not all daytime.
I put the laundry into the washers. When I came up, little Thatch was in a "show me you love me" mood so we cuddled, he was rubbed down, scratched, and profusely petted, and he gave me little Thatch kisses. What a distance in attitude we've crossed in his 19 months here!
DR TCB people I know have been happier with top loading washers rather than front loading washers for one reason or another.....
A very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our DR Jeanne!

We have boarded and should be taking off for Montreal soon. I am very excited we will be seeing our boys soon and in a city new to all of us.
A Very Happy Birthday to DR Jeanne!! :D
I can't wait to hear Patrick Bronstein.
Starting a movie called The Nightcomers with Marlon Brando. It's based on The Turn of the Screw. Never heard of it until the library got it.

It's a prequel about Peter Quint and Miss Jessel.
The medicine arrived at the same time as the mail. There was a check, and I've been to the bank.

Montreal is a WONDERFUL city. So vibrant! No end of good food.
I met Jan, a friend I grew up with, for lunch at an Indian restaurant. The food was very good, the restaurant not overly crowded, and we talked non-stop. She had a surgery I didn't know about a few months ago and bought a new car last week! The car, a Camry, has not just a rear camera, but it's like an aerial view. She said that parking is much easier. I'm stuffed.

That always helps. If I were in Montreal I'd look up Le Commensal, a vegetarian buffet. There used to be several of them.
Montreal is a GREAT place to buy winter coats. They take cold weather seriously. I had one shipped home so I didn't have to be bothered carrying it.
I can't wait to hear Patrick Bronstein.
I want to hear BK's Patrick Bronstein! :)

Annabelle is dead meat at the moment: she ran across the room and leaped onto the computer table and right in the middle of my dinner which went flying off the table and all over the floor. I'm only grateful that she missed the glass of Coca Cola.
Happy happy birthday, Jeanne!
The kids in the neighborhood are riding their bicycles with sound effects tonight.....
Look what I found!
Happy Birthday, Jeanne!
Continued travel vibes for Jane and Keith
Had dinner with a friend tonight who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. Since the diagnosis, she has had a stroke. This week, she had a fall and had some condition that left her eyes looking like a raccoon. Despite everything, she and her husband were in good spirits and she had enough energy for a nice long visit.
Her husband hadn't bothered with the dishes, so I left Joy to talk with them while I loaded the dishwasher.
