Well, you've read the notes, the notes lost track of time, and now it is time for you to post until the losing track of time cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PLUMMY!
-
Vixter looks radiant in them photographs.
-
First post after BK.
-
Good night, BK.
-
Good night, jan.
-
Good night, George.
-
BK, speaking of the Outside the Box series, do you have any plans to release them on DVD?
-
Good night, Tom.
-
And now, I'm off to bed, and will get to sleep in for as long as I want!
Have a good day, all!
-
At one time the plan was to put the two seasons out on Blu-ray and I still may do that, but I have to go through the raw footage and find great outtakes, of which there are many, so we can have some extras. But it would be fun to gather some of the cast for commentaries and such - maybe I'll look at that in a few months - I don't think my licensing deal with STAGE would preclude me from issuing it.
-
Vixter looks radiant in them photographs.
She does 😊
-
I tried to stay awake for the wedding photos. Of course now when I wish I was sleeping I'm wide awake.
-
The beautiful bride and her beautiful mother are wearing lovely gowns. You both chose well.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Great wedding photos.
-
Loud thunderstorm in the night.
-
It must have rained last night. Streets are wet.
If there was thunder, I slept through it.
-
Good morning.
-
So, Vixmom, when are they going to make you a grandmother?
-
Good morning, all!
-
I have no plans today at all. I'm avoiding the parade and all Pride festivities. This old gimp avoids crowds, and I had enough of navigating through a huge crowd last night in the theatre district and in the theatre.
-
I will patrol with Annabelle and see how the tin foil remedy works. Now that I have little to do for the summer, I must begin my book pulling. I have a lot to remove from the apartment.
-
DR vixmom, you looked absolutely gorgeous. I'm so happy that everything went swimmingly.
-
DR Ginny, safe travels today!
-
DR Ginny I hope all is good at the stitch removal.
-
Safe & easy travels home.
-
Lovely wedding photos last night!
-
Condolences to DR TCB and his friend and family.
-
I shall be on my way to reunite with strangers in about an hour.
-
So, Vixmom, when are they going to make you a grandmother?
You have NO idea how hard it was to not ask that question ( well maybe you do)
-
Vixter looks radiant in them photographs.
She does 😊
Thank you both. It was so wonderful to see just how happy they were and how much they love each other
-
I videoed their fun first dance. John it is nowhere near what you do, but for two people that don't normally dance it was pretty impressive.
I have no idea how to post it here but I will se if I can post it on FB. I think most of you are friends with me there
-
It was a short patrol. An unidentified woman with luggage showed up at the front door, scared Annabelle, and the patrol was over.
-
There is another NYC ACC pet adoption at the Pet Health store, where I got Stella a month ago, and I think I'll stop by. I'm bringing no more pets home, but it's fun to look, and maybe I'll see some of the folk from the Mother's Day adoption.
-
Most of the pets brought into the ACC are animals the landlords reject. The New York City Housing Authority has a weight limit for dogs of, I believe, 25 lbs., so larger dogs are continually being left on the streets or left at shelters.
-
DR TCB my condolences on the loss of your schoolmate and to your friend Bobby on the loss of his wife.
-
So, Vixmom, when are they going to make you a grandmother?
You have NO idea how hard it was to not ask that question ( well maybe you do)
;D
Give them at least a year before asking ;)

I am truly looking forward to seeing more photos, and now the video.

:( >:(
-
Good morning, all.
-
Condolences to TCB and friends.
-
Keep those pictures and videos coming, vixmom!
So, what are the activities on the day after? And when do you leave to drive back?
-
No joint activities today. The wedding party was meeting at one of the pools . We are letting the young people have their time alone
-
One brother and his wife are at Epcot for the day
-
The other brother and his family are at Universal
-
Vixdad and I and his best friend who traveled down from Long Island are heading to Disney Springs for another VR experience
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep.
-
I just watched the first dance on facebook and with teary eyes smiled all the way through the dance. I liked the Vixter dress before watching the video and now know why she chose this style, perfect :)
-
I had a nice walk over to the adoption event. The was a little blind dog, Princess Origami, and a beautiful brown and white pit bull whose name I forget. There were several cats, including a huge one that must have weighed 20 lbs. and an 8-week-old tuxedo named Liam, who could have passed for Stella's twin. I was tempted.
-
Vixdad and I and his best friend who traveled down from Long Island are heading to Disney Springs for another VR experience
Have a relaxing, fun day after the wedding.
-
I am reading the news about people in France & other areas in Europe that died in bicycle races, before the races were cancelled. Why on earth would they not have cancelled these to begin with :o
-
Vixmom, two people in love dance better than just about anyone else on the planet.
-
I love watching wedding couples. Often, no one else exists.
-
I have to get ready to go visit friends for dinner. We’re watching Bathtubs Over Broadway before we eat. So, I finally get to see it.
-
Vixmom, two people in love dance better than just about anyone else on the planet.
That is so sweet

That is certainly how it appeared last night
-

Thankyou. She has actually had that dress since she was 14 or 15...and it was given to her by local drycleaner for a girl.scout fashion show...it had remained unclaimed for 6 months
-
She kept it all that time with the idea it would be her wedding dress
-
Three!
-
I love watching wedding couples. Often, no one else exists.
I am sure that was the same with our first dance, and many after over the years.
-

It did.

Wow, she wore a beloved dress-cool.
-
She kept it all that time with the idea it would be her wedding dress
She never wore it again after the fashion show and saved it, even a better story than I imagined.
-
Well, the tin foil experiment was a complete dud. I think I need to go to a good hardware store and speak to someone.
-
Sorry. Is she also eating the foil?
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Enjoyed the wedding photos. Looking forward to more.
-
Larry, the desire to eat paint or other inedibles is an important symptom in homeopathy. You might want to look at one of the veterinary homeopathic websites.
-
I have no news.
Vibes to all.

Sunday evening greetings from Morgantown, West Virginia! We packed up this morning and went at the nearby urgent care that had told me on the phone yesterday that, yes, they could remove my stitches. After filling out 4 pages of paperwork and waiting half an hour they told us that Medicare won’t cover suture removal at an urgent care. It has to be done by your primary care physician (500 miles and 2 days away) or by the facility that put them in. So, off we went to the ER where we were on Tuesday, and everything proceeded smoothly. I wish we’d gone there in the first place. They said my wound is healing well and we were on our way shortly after noon.
-
I think everyone in Washington, DC, is trying to escape before the Fourth of July and they were all on the road with us. We finally shook the heavy traffic and had a beautiful drive across northern Maryland and into West Virginia.
-
The first thing I did when the wi-fi connected here was watch The Vixter’s wedding dance. They put some thought into it and looked so happy. Congratulations and best wishes for many happy years together!

That's annoying. A shame you couldn't wait & have Rob take them out.

Nothing like a lovely drive, especially after escaping traffic.

I now travel with my tablet in the car & connect it to the "hotspot" using either my phone or Keith's.
-
DR Ginny how is your injury with the stitches out?

Everyone, including Rob, was pretty adamant that facial sutures should not stay in more than 5 days.
-
DR Ginny how is your injury with the stitches out?
A lot less itchy!

I figured you would have waited if it was ok to do so. You wouldn't want to leave them in too long.

A lot less itchy!
;D
-
DR Jrand how was your reunion?

Today while walking we saw a flyer for a local man who is missing. The flyer included a facebook page for him. An update shows his bicycle was found down the path from us at the park just a short walk from us. In fact we will be walking there in just a little bit. I hope a miracle happens & he is found safe. He went missing the morning of the 27th.

Oh, no! :-\
-
Good evening, all.
-
Page three? Really?
-
Let's move on ...
-
Four!
-
Had a really nice dinner with friends. Pam made N'Awlins food, including French onion soup, oysters Bienville and a salad with shrimp and crab.
-
And we had some lovely wines to go with them, all French, all excellent.
-
Before the meal we watched Bathtubs Over Broadway.
-
I, too, thought the movie was too much about Steve Young, the man who wrote Everything's Coming Up Profits. But ...
-
The big but is that without him and his monomania, it would not have been made otherwise. It was produced by David Letterman, his old boss. And his story was actually sweet, as he evolved from seeing this as a gimmick to embracing the people as a part of his life.
-
Still, I would rather have had more industrials and less of him.
-
My friend Carol worked on a great number of these shows, including Zenith, Motorola, Ford of Europe, Hamilton Beach, Admiral, Frigidaire and more that she couldn't remember tonight.
-
And I now have the song, "My Bathroom," stuck in my head.
-
I'm now watching A Wrinkle in Time in the hopes of getting this out of my head. The first half hour is really good.
-
Gratuitous post No. 100!
-
I must go to bed now.
-
I'll finish up A Wrinkle in Time tomorrow.
-
Good night, all.
-
And we had some lovely wines to go with them, all French, all excellent.
Yum. The soup sounds good as well.
-
DR Druxy how is your family tkdoing.
Continued healing vibes to them.
-
I've been home all day and haven't really done anything. ::)
-
I have some TV watching to ketchup on, but I for some reason didn't even do that.
-
I just put a load of laundry in the washer, and I should've done that much earlier.
-
Now, it's too late to put another load in, but what I need to wash can wait until tomorrow or even Tuesday.
-
Today was a day of doing nothing, but I'm really tired from all this nothing-doing!
;)
-
Well, I might as well balance my checkbook, now.
-
It's been a while since I've done it, but it's not the longest time between balancings.
-
I have been checking my balance online, so I know I have plenty and aren't close to running out of money.
-
I hate it when that happens!
-
I sent a text to my friend David to see how he's doing, but he hasn't responded yet.
-
I'm not worried.
-
...yet.
-
::)
-
And now, since we're so close, let's turn the page to the...
-
PAGE FIVE DANCE!!
-
I forgot to mention one of the 'joys" of living in Florida
-
I opened the kitchen cabinet today to find a lizard perched on a jar
-
I deal with lizards much better than I do with other creatures with more than 4 legs
-
And was able to calmly request that Vixdad perform the removal task
-
The lizard was cooperative and willingly hopped into a glass to moved outside
-
I'm not worried.
Good.
-
No lizards were harmed in the moving process
-
...yet.
I hope you hear back from him.
-
More importantly, neither were any vixmoms
-
I opened the kitchen cabinet today to find a lizard perched on a jar
;D
-
Today we returned Vixdad's tux in the morning
-
Then we went to Kohls to spend my $120 in kohls cash
-
And was able to calmly request that Vixdad perform the removal task
:D
-
More importantly, neither were any vixmoms
That's good.
-
We had lizards in Ashland.
-
Vixdad contributed enough to the cash to buy a twin of the ruby necklace he got me for the wedding, this time in sapphire
-
I am sure we had them elsewhere. Where I do not recall.
-
I feel quite decadent after 62 years of shunning jewelry collecting to suddenly have two such nice pieces
-
Now I need somewhere to wear it
-
Vixdad contributed enough to the cash to buy a twin of the ruby necklace he got me for the wedding, this time in sapphire
Wow, nice 😊
-
Then we picked up hisbest man and took him to Disney Springs for a virtual reali eperience
-
Did I tell you all this already?
-
Now I need somewhere to wear it
You can wear them anywhere you feel like it.
-
Then weren't to Ghiradellis for icecreAm
-
Then we came back to the unit where I felt the need to res my eyes for a minute
-
Did I tell you all this already?
That you were going with him, yes but that was before you actually did it.
-
Did you enjoy your day?
-
When I opened my eyes 4 hours had passed, our friend was gone
-
Time for bed goodnight
-
Then we came back to the unit where I felt the need to res my eyes for a minute
That "minute" of rest must be why you are up so late ;)
-
'night.
-
Good evening!
-
Judged the singing contest, then supped with Kay.
-
I opened the kitchen cabinet today to find a lizard perched on a jar
:o
-
Came home and I could barely keep my eyes open. So I sat on my couch like much fish and dozed off but I can't doze off for any length of time because it's not the comfy there, so I did something I normally never do - I got in bed - and slept for almost three hours. I just printed a document and after it printed I get an error message that the printhead has failed or something is wrong. Well, guess it's time for a new printer tomorrow.
-
I'm not worried.
Good.
I've actually just been chatting with David for the last hour or so. He and his soon-to-be-ex have been talking, and that's been going well. I don't think that they'll get back together, but at least they're talking civilly. :)
-
No lizards were harmed in the moving process
Good!
-
Well, I might as well balance my checkbook, now.
Done with that, and it balanced exactly! Whew!
-
I feel quite decadent after 62 years of shunning jewelry collecting to suddenly have two such nice pieces
You deserve them, Vixmom!
-
Good evening.

Hi, George.

BK, if you don't have one, you might want to check out the EcoTank Supertank printers (https://epson.com/ecotank-super-tank-printers) from Epson. I got one at Costco just last month, so your local Costco may still have some. The concept is really cool. You don't buy tiny, expensive little ink cartridges, the printer has four tanks for the colors and you refill them whenever you need to from bottles that cost SO much less than the tiny, expensive little cartridges. I haven't opened mine yet, but I know that Epson printers are good printers.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
How was your day?
-
Tracy and I agreed that we were very glad we went to the funeral today.
-
Tracy and I agreed that we were very glad we went to the funeral today.
Nice.
-
Listening to music while watching highlights of the Pride Parade in Seattle. Seems appropriate that the song playing is “A Cockeyed Optimist.”
-
Boy, the police are certainly acting different than they did at the parades in the Seventies!
-
My friend, Bobby, actually got up and spoke during the service. He said it was orders from Judy.
-

I've been to a few funerals, but I've only spoken at one...well, it was at the gathering afterward, not the actual funeral-proper.
-
I did the eulogy at my aunt’s funeral, but I didn’t speak at my mom’s service.
-
Cool! That church’s rainbow colored doors in Seattle that got bombed, were carried on a float in the parade.
-
I've never been to the funeral of a family member. :-\

Nice!
-
KIRO TV is showing the Seattle parade, and I set my DVR to record it, but the guide said that the show started at 11:30, but the show was already going on when my recording started. >:(

Yeah, it started a few minutes early.
-
Well, at least I'll get to see most of it.
-
I wonder what's taking BK so long to post his notes.
-
But, of course, we can't stop here, so...
-
Well, at least I'll get to see most of it.
Yeah, except Deborah Horne talks thru most of it.
-
7!!
-
George, did you go see THE PRODUCERS this weekend?
-
George, did you go see THE PRODUCERS this weekend?
No. I was at the Washington Center most of the evening yesterday, and didn't even think about going out at all today.
-
Good night, George.
