Well, you've read the notes, the notes were notes, and now it is time for you to post until the cows that are cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: DVANDVA!
-
Hello.

DR TCB I am glad you are feeling better.

Thank you for the condolencces Tom.

I had not heard of swatting before. I hope they catch the horrible person that did that >:(
-
BK, do you sip club soda clubbingly?
-
Thank you for the condolencces Tom.
Since Nicky is somewhere between 18 and 23, I worry about losing him everyday.
-
It's nearly 3:30 am and I can't keep my eyes closed

Good night.
I haven't yet. Good night, Tom.

Bruce, you keep talking about tummy troubles. I told you before and I'll tell you again........OMEPROZOLE! My doctor me my tummy trouble was screwing up my voice so you don't want that. Have your doctor prescribe it or get it OTC at the drugstore.

What she said! (Even though I've never heard of omeprozole. ::) )
-
Jane, I'm glad my injuries have protected you this year. Hopefully neither of us will be injured going forward.
-
Omeprozole is a heartburn medication that works really well. I take one pill in the evening and don't get heartburn anymore unless I overeat raw onions.
-
Since I am falling asleep, I will say good night brother George and niece Neve. Cuddles.

Thanks for the info, jan. Fortunately, I don't have any tummy troubles...so far (knock wood!).

Thanks and good night, jan.

I am back, for a moment, because for the last three nights I have meant to mention but always forget until I have signed off for the night.
-
I heard on the radio the other day that 12 episodes of FRIENDS are going to be released to theaters, four per night, for one night only! Are you serious? These are not missing episodes, or ones that have not been seen in twenty-five years. No, these are the same episodes that have been shown over and over again for the past 25 years.
What a rip-off!!
-
Tickets for this little touch of larceny are currently on sale in your neighborhood!

Oh, my! Except there will be people who will pay. ::)

PAGE TWO DANCE!!
-
Today, I have no plans, except may to do laundry and watch TV. Maybe watch a movie or do some work on my computer, but I'm staying home all day!
-
And now, it's my turn to turn in...into what, I can't say. ;)
Have a good day, all!
-
DR JANE sorry to hear about Doggie Yogi.
-
200% vibes for MR BK....
-
DR ELMORE sorry to hear about Alice....I hope she gets better.
-
Today is set building day for PICNIC.
-
Good morning, all!
-
After the ladder climbing, carton toting, and yesterday's roach attack, my body is racked with pain. At 12:30 last night I took another Tizanidine and slept well. I will spend a lot of the day with the cats watching Downton Abbey. We're nearly to the end of Season Two, which is the bleakest Season, I'm guessing. Last night, during Episode 6 or 7, I finally laughed, but those war years are tough going.
-
Good morning.
-
I've finished the Kenneth Williams diaries. He was another comic actor prone to depression and a lot of bad health. The last years 1985-88 are really bleak. I'm now reading a biography of London theatre producer Michael Codron.
-
Good morning.
Hello, DR Laura!
-
I was happy to see you are feeling better, DR TCB!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Another cool morning here! And our high these next couple of days will be around 73.
-
I have rehearsal from six to ten this evening. Oh joy, oh rapture.
-
Patrol went nicely. Annabelle saw MaryAnne our fifth floor neighbor. She likes her, so that was nice. The sounds coming from Alice's apartment this morning while Annabelle played in the lobby were back to the usual murmuring voices. That was a relief.
-
Good morning, all.
-
My quiet weekend is coming to an end.
-
Vibes for all.

DITTO THERE WON'T BE ANY MORE INJURIES!

Evening vs morning, interesting. I have been on my miracle drug Protonix too many years.
After my last break I knew I would have to wean myself off of them. It ook about 6 months to completely cut the dosage in half and now I am down to skipping a dose every 5 days.
-
DR JANE sorry to hear about Doggie Yogi.
Thank you Jrand.

Yes, I take one every morning. If I don't have terrible pains
-
Bruce I do suggest you try one of the medications to see if it helps. Keith did several rounds on and off before he could stop & be fine with a Tums.
-
BTW, Prilosec didn't help my reflux & gave me stomach pains where Protonix made both my stomach & my reflux better. Finding the right medication makes a difference. Keith found Nexium worked the best for him.
-
Hello!
-
Sorry to hear about Yogi, DR Jane.
-
Vibes you reach 200 percent, BK!
-
Page 3!
-
Thank you DR Kevin.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Glad to hear that TCB is feeling better. Hope that continues.
-
Sorry to hear about DD Yogi. Losing a pet is always difficult.
-
I'm up, I'm up - ten hours of sleep.
-
I know nothing about OMEPROZOLE, but heartburn is just one type of "tummy trouble." There are many things that can be wrong, completely apart from heartburn. Most people benefit from taking digestive enzymes with meals, as digestive capacity is one of the things that declines as we age. Heartburn, on the other hand, is usually from eating too many acid foods--meat, dairy, sugar--and not enough alkaline foods--veggies. My favorite way to deal with heartburn is to drink a glass of alkaline (bottled ) water. Most stores carry alkaline water these days. It must be alkaline water, though--not just any bottled water. Believe me, it stops the heartburn immediately with just a few ounces. It's inexpensive and easy to keep on hand. You can also drink it daily to avoid heartburn in the first place.
-
Vibes for Elmore's dear neighbor Alice.
-
I recently tried a new type of vegan ice cream. Most of them are made from coconut milk, but this one is made from cashew milk. It was really good! If Choczero made vegan ice cream I'd buy it in a heartbeat. (Choczero has no sugar.) As it is, I'm skipping the cholesterol.
-
I have no news.
Vibes to all.
TTFN.
-
I really had donutitus last night - nauseous as can be.

My mom and niece get heartburn quite often. I'll tell them about the alkaline water...maybe get some for them. Thanks for the info, Jeanne.

Jane, we're so sorry to hear about Yogi.
-
Sorry to hear about DD Yogi. Losing a pet is always difficult.
Thank you. Fortunately his cat is still doing well.
-
The cats and I spent a quiet afternoon finishing Season 2 of Downton Abbey. I had forgotten so much of it, but I mostly watched it thinking what a great cast it had.
-
After dinner, we'll move on to Season 3.
-
The cats had salmon, and i'm not sure what I'm going to have.
-

Do they even make ice cream of any kind?
I am not a big fan of coconut, probably because I couldn't eat it when I was young. I like the idea of cashew milk for the ice cream. Did you buy it at a store or just get a scoop someplace?
-
Jane, we're so sorry to hear about Yogi.
Thank you. When Craig, Yogi, & Kitty were living with us. I had to sleep in Craig's room whenever he went out of town. Sleeping with us wasn't a good option & there was also Kitty to keep company as well, only she didn't howl when Craig wasn't home.

I am home. J.B. is home.
-
I got a speeding ticket on the way back. First in 10 years. And yes, I was speeding.
-
I am back to listening to The Power Broker after a weekend off.
-
It was a good weekend out of town, though.
-
I am home. J.B. is home.
Welcome home.

Ouch.

My friends Gary and Janice were there. I hadn't spent much time with them recently, so it was good to catch up. She recently retired as executive director of the local Animal Defense League. They had with them their 13-year-old dog, Robin, who has cancer and may not be with us much longer. She was lively and lovely, if a bit deaf, and we made sure she had a great weekend.
-
On Friday night, a thundercloud stood over the field out back and sent out an amazing array of lights shooting left, right and everywhere.
-
Tomorrow, I have to go back to work and the forecast is for a 104-degree high. Oh, boy! Oh, joy!
-
I am home. J.B. is home.
Welcome home.
Thank you, Jane.
-
Let's move on ...
-
Four!
-
I'm very sorry about Yogi.
-
Picked up two packages, then went to Gelson's and got two chicken breasts and an onion, came home and made faux stroganoff, which was really good - over rice. I made one and a third chicken breasts.
-
Then all these Facebook people started posting ACTIVE SHOOTER AT THE TOPANGA MALL! First off, enough with the active shooter BS - what other kind of shooter is there? Passive? And it wasn't an active shooter, no shots were fired, it was a smash and grab robbery attempt.
-
Then I got a PM from an old friend telling me her sister had passed away - I was very enamored of the sister when I was going to LACC and we spent a lot of time together. At some point, the sister changed her first name from Patti to Kirsten because there were two Pattis in her family. I saw her many times over the years - last time was when all the sisters came to see my production of Inside Out. Apparently she was suffering from some disease that cause dementia. She was a couple years younger than me.
-
Sorry for your loss, BK.

The Animal Defense League is a wonderful organization.
May Robin continue to be lively & lovely for a good while.

I didn't see anything on facebook. When I see "active" I read that as happening at the moment they posted about the shooter. It is a sad world when people fear a smash & grab robbery is a shooter. I can tell you though, from personal experience, a big plate of glass breaking is a very scary sound.

I've gotten to the part of The Power Broker where Joe Papp is trying to set up Shakespeare in the Park. Fascinating clash of wills, not entirely involving Moses, who liked Papp and gave him free rein.
-
Gratuitous post No. 101!
-
My iPad kept freezing and disconnecting from the inter webs
-
Today I saw that BJs had the iPad 6th generation on sale and decided to gift myself
It was $100 less than the apple store price
-
I’ve been trying to set it up and test it out but can’t remember some paw so it’s a real slog
-
This afternoon we took my mom to a local I ecream parlor where they make all their own ice cream in house
-
Usually the service is great there are generally 2 or 3 teenage girls behind the counter
-
Today there was one teenage boy and he was a mess
-
I ordered cherry vanilla ice cream in a cup...he made pistachio in a cone
I asked for peanut butter cookie dough in a cup. He made a cup of mocha chip
I asked for a kids cone with one scoop of vanilla fudge , he took a large waffle cone with fudge trim and filled it with vanilla
-
I never saw him before and I suspect I won’t see him again as he threw away all the mistakes

My first day at the i scream shop by T. Boy.

jane, Choczero doesn't make any ice cream that I know of.
I bought it at my favorite food store, which is a health food store, but I believe I've seen it at Whole Foods Market. It's So Delicious Double Chocolate Delight, chocolate dipped in chocolate. It's on a stick.
-
Thanks Jeanne.
-
We are about to watch the 3 hour movie, Avengers :Endgame.
-
Vixmom, I'm pleased you're enjoying your air fryer. I was quite intrigued with the concept when they first came out. The reviews I read were excellent. As a vegetarian and disinclined to cook these days I have little need of one, but I do wish restaurants would start using them, as it's a healthier way to cook. I'm all for easier ways to prepare meals, even if I leave most of mine to the professionals.
Kitchens are dangerous places, after all. One should leave cooking to the experts! ;)
-
Enjoy the movie, Jane.

Ha!

Five!

I finished the magnificent Touchez pas au grisbi. Very influential on Tarantino.
Now I'm starting a western, an early Jack Nicholson flick called Ride in the Whirlwind, but I'm tired and may go read.
-
I picked up a Zola novel, The Conquest of Plassans, that I had started a while back and managed to get 150 pages read this weekend. Maybe I'll try to finish that.
-
Just been listening to music and relaxing. How can it be seven already?
-
In the fascinating department. In the Kritzerland anniversary show, I gave Peyton a put-together of the Spanky and Our Gang song, Lazy Day (which I love) and Up, Up, and Away. But then I found this song from the musical version of Georgy - it was actually cut from the show prior to opening - Toy Balloon - I really liked the tune and since it was a balloon song it fit better so I axed Lazy Day and put in Toy Balloon. Just a minute ago what do I find out? Lazy Day was composed by George Bischoff - who wrote - Toy Balloon.
-
I am back from four hours of "Don't Tell Mama".
-
I will have Vixmom know that I would have eaten every one of those mistakes.
-
I'd eat them RIGHT NOW, in fact.
-
Good evening.
-
So sorry to hear about Yogi.
-
Enjoy the movie, Jane.
Thanks. I did.

So sorry to hear about Yogi.
Thank you.
-
Good evening.
-
I guess I missed everyone.
-
Tonight I watched WHAT’S UP DOC?
-
It is probably been 25 years since I saw that movie. It is just as funny as it was then.
-
I had forgotten what a nice body Ryan O’Neal had back then.
-
As well as my Streisand.
-
Of course, we got to see more of Ryan’s body then we got to see of Barbra’s.
-
Greetings, 1 Guest.
-
I am feeling much better this evening.
-
Today I went out with my sister and her husband for my birthday lunch.
-
We went out for pizza at Cloverleaf Tavern, my choice.
-
Now that I am living out here, it won’t be quite as easy to a Cloverleaf pizza when I get a craving.
-
Good bye, 1 Guest.
-
I had the O’Brien. It is suppose to have sausage, mushrooms, pepperoncinis, onions, and bacon. I always have them put on olives in place of the pepperoncinis.
-
I still have two slices for lunch tomorrow.
-
It is almost as good cold, as it is when it’s hot.
-
One more post.
-
Page 6
-
Yesterday I watched a scary documentary about tsunamis.
-
This show was made before the last Japanese tsunami, but it did have plenty of footage of the Boxing Day tsunami in Sri Lanka and Thailand. Over a quarter million people died in that one.
-
Hi ,Tom, glad you're feeling better. What's next on your agenda?
-
It ended with coverage of the one that they expect to happen sometime in the future. It will start with the eruption of this volcano off the west coast of Africa. They expect that might cause half of the mountain to collapse in a massive landslide, which if it happens, it would cause a tsunami that wil travel over the Atlantic Ocean at 600 mph and will hit the United States with enough force to kill three or four million people in cities like Miami, Washington DC, and New York.
-
And that is tonight’s bedtime story.
-
Hi, jan. This is the week of doctor appointments and memorial services.
-
How about you?
-
Neither one of which are fun. You need something fun to look forward to.
-
A friend of mine's son works for Chippendale's. Maybe I can get him and some friends to come and give you a birthday performance.
-

Yeah, well I doubt they could ever find Puyallup. And, of course, then they would have to stay over!
-
I thought you didn't have enough space for people.
