BK, Congrats again on the (mostly) successful What If!
I never thought I’d be saying this, but last week in Cincinnati I had the pumpkin pie at a Frisch’s (Big Boy) for my first time ever, and it was to die for. The nutmeg and other spices, the texture, everything was in perfect balance and it was so satisfying. I was full from my meal, but if the whole pie had been sitting in front of me, I would have eaten two or three slices.
Speaking of which, DR Jrand69... the Big Boy, the Brawny Lad, the Buddy Boy (ham sandwich with their tartar-ish (?) sauce) and seemingly everything else that’s traditional there... it’s all alive and well in beautiful SW Ohio.
Cleanup went easily this morning, and I got a nice email from the conductor about the overture. So far, the day's going all right.
Last night I read about Stritch's life from her birth in 1925 to her starring in the national tour of Call Me Madam. I am enjoying it.
I am in love with Mustang Bartholomew!

I went to the UPS printing store to get 22 copies of the program that I made up for my sister's ceremony tomorrow.
However their printer was not working very well. It kept leaving little black spots here and there on the paper.
When I picked them up - they gave me 25 instead of 22 - and yes they GAVE them to me at no charge. So that was a nice bargain.

Thanks DR JANE & DR GEORGE...
The spots are more like for or five little dots that are noticeable but they are NOT overwhelmingly so.
SO - I am happy....since they will in all likelihood be tossed in the trash before the end of the night....or most of them will anyway.
I think it’s time for a nap. I ain’t getting one, however.
What, no one watched the Jerome Robbins ballets?
Jane, Rules of Civility is a fine first novel.

I may have pumpkin pie after the show - I just may or I just might, depending on whether may or might feels right.
I walked to my dental appointment this morning; it was such a nice day. Then I joined the ladies at the church for the rest of their craft morning.
I am watching some FRIGHT movies on TCM.....might as well since I'm paying $9.99 a month.
Speaking of pie I learned today that for a Thanksgiving my boss buys everyone in the firm two pies from a local farm bakery
We sat and chatted (and ate) for over three hours.
Good lord, the ads for Pacific Northwest Ballet’s THE NUTCRACKER are endless. They are currently doing the George Balanchine production.

You should! It's tasty!
But you always end up tasting it twice.
