BK and Elmore, I will try to have reviews written before I leave on Thursday, though I may have more time after I leave.
And a Very Happy Birthday to DR ChasSmith!! :D
Happy birthday, ChasSmith. Do you have to play today?
Happy birthday, ChasSmith!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday to our DR ChasSmith !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday during kitty cleanup as I lifted the litter pan I pull or pinched something in my back, and it hurts like hell. Where I moved cautiously before, I can barely move at all. I hate getting old!
So...I'm running on barely over five hours sleep. It was important that I drop into a just-divorced friend's holiday open house last night, and I'm glad I did it, but that kept me up way later than is desirable on the night before a matinee. But hey. Sometimes that's what we do.
This evening after the show my lovely housemates and I will partake of a birthday dinner at our one and only favorite Chinese jernt here in town. It's the last remaining "real" sit-down Chinese restaurant in the area. Kristi's family went there for many years, and when we walk in we get the best treatment. Sadly, most of the business is takeout, and I don't believe I've ever enjoyed a nice crowd in there. Not that I go at the right times. But the food and service are marvelous and it's always a wonderful throwback to a better past which was populated with such wonderful Chinese places.
Here’s a link to the website about the pottery place we visited yesterday. No matter the size or shape, nothing as I recall was over $30.

We've now got three good reviews to offset William Oser's negative.
Here's the funny part. When he reviewed Dearest Enemy, he slammed my orchestrations for not being true to the period, although I would swear it's impossible to tell mine from the only existing one by Harold Sanford. So, he listened to The New Yorkers on Amazon with no liner notes, and I have the impression from his review that he thinks they are the original orchestrations.

DR GINNY - I watched the Michigan/Oregon game and enjoyed it very much.....BUT...
The Michigan uniforms were exactly the same color as the floor of the gym - it looked like disembodied heads and legs and arms were running up and down.....
And with Oregon in those GREEN uniforms - it looked like Lemons vs. Limes.....

Sunday afternoon greetings! We’ve been to Lima for Fr. Richard’s quarterly visit and now we’re chilling at home until it’s time to leave for a family gathering in Springboro. We’re celebrating Rev. Amy’s 3 kids, who have birthdays on December 6, 10, and 13. Different years, of course!
We’re expecting an overnight guest of the feline variety. Rob and Mary Linda’s house went on the market today and there’s a showing scheduled for this evening and another tomorrow. Allie is coming here to avoid the stress.
Successful Vibes & Xylophones for tonight's show!

Someone did not plan well ;)
DR Jeanne it seems we may be taking a drive to Alexandria soon to walk around the old town. We were there years & years ago visiting friends. All I remember is it was very pretty.
Happy Birthday to our musical DR CHAS SMITH.
Happiest of birthdays to Chas!

DITTO!
I've been watching KINKY BOOTS on PBS. I so loved to movie and have been apprehensive about the muscial. I can't help but wonder what the show would have been like if BK had written the score.
Good night, all.
Today, I have no plans for the day until 5:00, when I'm going to a production meeting for Olympia Little Theatre's next show, Equivocation.
Wow. One of the great performances of all time, at least as far as this song goes, with Stephen Sondheim and Angela Lansbury applauding at the end.

If I could go back in a time machine, this is one of the show's I'd love to see. I'm obviously biased toward a story of someone finding life in a ballroom.
It seems I have to do some work tomorrow with the nursing home where Dad is before my mom signs away more than she can afford.
After that, it was margaritas and Mexican food for dinner, accent on the former.
Watching The Bishop's Wife. We've come on one of my favorite scenes, when the boys' choir goes into overdrive. I get goosebumps as they sing.
I made oatmeal for breakfast not realizing the milk had turned :P
Major health vibes to DR Elmore and DR Vixmom!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back from a splendid and fun Kritzerland 102 - so many huge laughs on the What If numbers - and I really didn't think we were going to have more than sixty people, which would have been fine, but in the end the room was almost completely full.
