Well, you've read the notes, the notes were on their way to wellness, and now it is time for you to post until the wellness cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ANCILLARY!
-
Good morning, all, and first post after BK!
-
Back to sleep.
-
Good morning, all!
-
Well. I too can no longer get today's HHW notes without going to the archive and bringing it up. On Safari, I get the notes for Feb. 4, and on Opera I get notes for yesterday. What the gell is going on?
-
Annabelle will not eat this morning. At 8:30 I will call City Vet and see if I can get her in today.
-
DR Jane, I can barely walk with a cane and one cat carrier. Forget taking two cats to the vet at the same time.
-
I googled a calendar for 1946. I was born around 5:00AM on a Thursday. DR TCB, just google a calendar for the year you were born. Or does that year exist only on papyrus?
-
I would prefer to stay inside today since my cough has moved to my lungs. I am quite congested. Yesterday my nose ran continuously all day, and the Dayquil did nada.
-
I think I know how to downgrade iTunes from 12 to 11, so I'm backing up my computer before I do it. I haven't down one in two months and it is taking forever.
-
Wednesday morning greetings! I’m up early to meet Rebecca for coffee and, apparently, I forgot to log out last night. Will try to check in between coffee and my ortho appointment this afternoon.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Continuing health vibes for BK and DR Elmore and Annabelle and all the rest of yez.
-

iTunes is still a thing I know not a whit about so far. Obviously nothing I’ve done to date has required it, but I’ll have to learn about it one of these days.
-
I had a good time yesterday at the Apple store, however, getting a few things straightened out that I’d been doing the hard way, learning other tidbits, and getting some questions answered.
Interestingly, I’ve learned in following up on a couple of things later that, as dedicated and zealous as Apple employees are, the people out front (at least) are as far from infallible as those of any other organization. Those words would be heresy to some. But when you’re trained to provide help that’s as fast as it is friendly and engaging, something always gets left by the side of the road. Fortunately, I’m self sufficient enough to take guidance while still fending for myself.
-
Well, yesterday I felt much better. Last night, I take the same stuff, go to bed and get worse, as in coughing (I barely have a voice after three hours of this crap), constantly clearing my throat like on Sunday - blowing my nose - it's absolutely maddening. And i haven't slept more than an hour or so. I'll keep trying to sleep and thankfully I have nothing to do today.

Monday's child is fair of face
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.
-
I was born on a Friday
-
The Vixter was born on a Thursday
-
Off to work!

Ha!
-
I was born on a Friday, the start of Rosh Hashana that year.
-
Good morning!
-
Vibes for Annabelle & DR ELMORE.
-
I think my aunt drove a Desoto Ancillary when I was little.
-
MR BK you might give Mucinex a try if you haven't already.....it doesn't taste as awful as DayQuil.....I use the grape flavor.....and they have a non drowsy formula.
-
Appt. vibes for DR GINNY.
-
Watching "The Two Popes" on Netflix. Last night I saw "Pain and Glory" on DVD from Redbox. After the "Popes" I'll have seen all of the films with nominations in the acting categories. After I see "1917," I'll have seen all the nominees for Best Picture and Best Director too.
-
I was born on a Monday.
-
Page 2!
-
Feel better vibes for BK.
-
I called at 8:30 and Dr. Mohr was booked solid today. City Vet just called me back to say they had a cancellation at 2:30, so Annabelle is going to the doctor.
-
I was born on a Saturday!

My sister was born on a Wednesday and I always thought "full of woe" was not very nice. I have heard "free of woe" used.

I always thought the “far to go” line wasn’t nice either. Made it sound like the child was mentally challenged.

But then again, I’m loving and giving. So I just sort of stopped there.

Headed into my third meeting in a row this morning. Oh, joy.

I continue to get them on my tablet after refreshing the page.

It did drop 40 degrees here. Not happy. Back in the 60s tomorrow and the 70s by Friday. Yo-yo weather.
-
I wish our weather would yo-yo back up to 60.

Snow and ice predicted for tonight in my location.......

Sorry, be safe.

Annabelle and I had a lovely visit with Dr. Mohr. She has an upper respiratory infection, they hydrated her and I have an antibiotic for her.

The Senate is now voting. Mitt Romney is the only Republican to vote guilty. Thank you, Mitt!

Wow! Still too many enablers to remove him. :P

But then again, I’m loving and giving. So I just sort of stopped there.

Insert smug, self-satisfied face here.

Snow and ice predicted for tonight in my location.......
Yikes. Glad you got your unit fixed. Stay warm.
-
Listening to Philip Glass’s Annunciation, written for piano quartet. Really peaceful, which I could use today.
-
My backup finally ended, so tomorrow I will try to downgrade my iTunes. Pray for Rosemary's Baby!
-
Appt. vibes for DR GINNY.
Thanks, DR JRand! The diagnosis is posterior tibial tendinitis and I’m in an air cast for 6 weeks.
-
I'm up, I'm up - when I finally fell asleep I stayed asleep and got up at two. I'm sure I got eight hours and maybe even more than that.
-
I'm quite bored of this.
-
I'll just relax and I don't think I'll leave here until six-thirty.

Oh my. At least now you are forced to rest it properly. Vibes this makes the pain go away. Can you walk in your air cast?

Yes, DR Jane, I can walk, but forced rest is the idea.
Oh, and I can take it off to sleep and shower.
-
I am glad you can take it off at times.
-
I just read that Kirk Douglas has died. Not really a surprise.
-
Wow! 103 years old.
-
Sorry I haven't been here, but I start to vomit anytime I heard anything pleasant about the evil Encores.
-
Relaxing. Have shaved. Eaten a donut. Taken preventatives. Feeling a bit better, but I don't trust that after last night. I think I'll get matzoh ball soup again on the way home. Or maybe just chicken noodle soup with the ball.
-
I do not understand page three.
-
I do not condone page three.
-
I'm really not having page three.
-
Page three is irritating me.
-
And yet, we're still on page three.
-
Listening to nice music whilst being irritated about page three, which is irritating.
-
In fifteen minutes I'll shower. I'll probably leave at 6:10 and stop at the mail place. I really don't need to be at the theater before seven - I was going to go in earlier to make a couple of lighting adjustments, but our lighting guy wasn't feeling well so won't be back until tomorrow.
-
Appt. vibes for DR GINNY.

Oh, my goodness! :(
-
Wow! 103 years old.
Wow is right! Amazing!
-
And now, I'm off to the theater. I only found out a few days ago that I'll be running the light board AND the sound board for the show! :o Fortunately, there aren't a lot of music/sound cues, but there a WHOLE bunch of light cues! The lighting designer has been working on it and assures me that it won't be difficult. I KNOW that there a lot of VERY QUICK cues, so hopefully the script are very well marked! We'll see how it all goes!
-
But before I go...
-
PAGE FOUR DANCE!!
-
And now, I'm off!
Until later!

I've been away just a week or so, and George's avatar became a hottie?
Can you say "Hottie" without getting arrested in this sensitive era?
-
Appt. vibes for DR GINNY.

Then many vibes for patience.

Home from the party for volunteers at the theater where I usher. I made an excellent cauliflower salad that turned out to be vegan. And people ate about half of it. So I have some leftovers for tomorrows lunch.
-
It was a simple blend of cauliflower, red onion, olives, cucumber and parsley with a dressing of oil and lemon juice with garlic. The parsley was from the backyard.
-
I'm now back to watching For Sama, which is up for best documentary. It's due back at the library in three days, so I have to finish it up. But it's so hard-hitting that I may not finish it tonight.
It's a documentary that a Syrian mother makes for her infant daughter during the bombings around Aleppo. The woman's husband is a doctor who is needed at all times, so they live at the hospital. The baby girl, Sama, wakes up some mornings worried only about her bottle while you can hear bombings in their immediate surroundings. Yet they go on with their lives as best they can.
Even when there are joyous moments, such as when the mother finds out she's pregnant again, you can feel the world outside threatening to destroy everything they know.
-
I've started watching Springsteen's film of Western Stars. It's a little self-indulgent because of the narration he provides for each song, and yet, isn't that a little of what we want? To find out what his thinking was behind his songs? There are some beautiful images and the songs are quite good. But it still feels a little off. Maybe I'll figure it out by the end.
-
Gratuitous post No. 99!

Good night, all.

Tonight I went to the Wednesday night church service followed by a discussion group ( not really Bible study, more a faith journey exploration)
-
I quite enjoyed it

I am going to the 2/22 matinee of Mack & Mable....will anyone else be attending?

The Blump was angry and nasty thru last night’s speech.
-
Can you say vindictive?
-

I'll take it...it's not quite accurate, but thanks, Fred! ;)

I am going to the 2/22 matinee of Mack & Mable....will anyone else be attending?
I would love to see that! I saw a local college production that wasn't great (not horrible, though), so it would be great to see professionals perform it live.
-
The Blump was angry and nasty thru last night’s speech.
I'd read some headlines, but I didn't read the articles or watch it. ::)
-
Can you say vindictive?
I'd say a big giant baby...as usual. :P
-
But I now believe that he will be re-elected.
-
...but that's just me. ;D

But I now believe that he will be re-elected.
There's always hope that saner minds will FINALLY prevail...not a lot, but some.

But I have new respect for Milt Romney.

I hope your rehearsal went well, George.
Thanks, Tom. It did.
-
Tomorrow night will be our free preview and there will be some kind of audience.
-
It'll also be the first night that I run the light board as well as the sound board!
-
That'll be interesting!
-
Good night, George.
-
Good night, Tom.
-
Alrighty, then...I need to get some sleep. I'm plumb tired and need my sleep.
Have a good tomorrow, all!
