Well, you've read the notes, the notes had both maladies and melodies, and now it is time for you to post until the melodious cows come home as soon as they get over their MOOladies.
-
And the word of the day is: PHRONESIS!
-
First post after BK.
-
When I first saw the Topic of the Day, I thought to myself, I didn't know that Armie Hammer made any horror films. :-\
-
But then I realized my error. ;)
-
So, tonight starts the last weekend of the play for which I've been running both the light and sound boards. Other than my goobers (basically, not remembering the cues for my left hand versus my right hand), things have gone pretty well. It really hasn't been overwhelming to pull double duty. We'll see if I get the opportunity to do them both again.
-
All the actors have certainly done very well. It's been a lot of fun just watching the show.
-
And now, I must be off to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all.
-
George, here’s an obituary that will interest you. The man wrote for Bette Midler.

TCB I didn't realize market deliveries took a so long to be delivered,

From George
Just last week, I came across this post on Tumblr: "Wut-In-Tarnation is really What-In-The-Entire-Nation with a southern accent
This was interesting.
-
Good morning, all!

On Safari, today's notes are on Feb. 14, but on Opera today's came right up. I prefer Safari to Opera, but at least I'm up-to-date for now.
-
I stayed up too late to watch the debates, so I went back to bed after I fed the cats. Between their jumping all over the bed and my restlessness, I tossed around for about and hour and then figured that was it. As soon as I was up, the cats started ignoring me.
-
I have no plans at all today. If I hadn't already committed myself to be here for the super to finish replacing the tiles in the bathroom I would go down to my accountant, pay him, and sign my tax forms. I may do that tomorrow morning before I go to my doctor's appointment at 1:00.

-
Enjoy your day Ginny.

I just got the results of my CAT-scan yesterday. Dr Finkelstein wrote: Nothing alarming. Hope you are doing well.
However, the final impression was rather alarming to me: Indeterminate right renal hyperdense lesion. Malignancy cannot be excluded. Recommend MRI with and without gadolinium for further evaluation. No adenopathy.
-
I am sorry Larry, vibes it is nothing serious !
When is your appointment with the specialist again?
-
I'm up, I'm up - six hours of sleep, have found the music I need in the garage and work session coming in twenty minutes.

On the west coast, maybe.

It was a beautiful day here. The high here was 54.
-
I keep looking at the two photos Kate sent today. One was of Bryan fast asleep holding his sleeping daughter. The other is of Freyja looking more beautiful each day.
-
I impulsively bought a new phone today
-
It’s a Galaxy S10
-
I hope I don’t regret it
-
Vibes and prayers for our Elmore
-
Bryan initially said Freyja had blond hair but it is a light brown, just like his was as a baby. We went through Bryan's baby pictures, Keith to scan and send to Bryan & Kate. I looked to figure out what age Bryan's hair turned blond. Oops, don't seem to have the transition photo of either Bryan or Craig.
-
I hope I don’t regret it
What did you have before?
-
I wish I could get a Samsung phone. Until android phones are compatible with hearing aids I am stuck with my iPhone.
-
For some reason Donald Trump invited me to join his committee to make America Great again. I have been requested to reply within 48 hours. There is even an addressed envelope for me to send my response. Unfortunately it requires a postage stamp.
-
three!!!
-
And on that note (E-natural), I'm off to the theater. I'll try to post during the show so that it's not a struggle at the end of the day, but I can't miss any cues, again. ::)
Be back later!
-
A lull. ::)
-
;)
-
We have started, but had to hold for a few minutes because the video monitor here in the tech deck (which has a DVR attached to it) had a DVR message that obscured the image of the stage that I need to see!
-
This is what was on the screen:
-
Fortunately, next door in their scene shop, a production meeting was going on for the next show, and the guy who set up this DVR to record our show last week was in that meeting.
-
He was able to come over and make the message go away.
-
Then, about five minutes before places, ANOTHER message came up on the screen!
-
I didn't take a picture of that message, though.
-
But I was able to get the guy to come back again and fix it...hopefully, for good!
-
Here's what the sound board side of the tech deck looks like:
-
I'd take a picture of the light board, but the show is going on and people will see me do that...and that would be too distracting.

I got the same invitation today.
-
You can guess what I did with the invitation.
-
I'm now home after a fun tango lesson. We worked on a really good step tonight. Flicks in a shadow position.
-
I'm now watching The Farewell, which is proving to be one of the best movies from last year, IMO. Very sweet and moving picture about a Chinese family that won't let Grandma (Nai Nai) know that she's dying. It's a tradition there to bear the burden for the dying family member. Everyone has gathered for a wedding ceremony of one of the grandsons, which is the other reason they're all together.
-
Why are we on page 3?
-
What is this page three malarkey?
-
Can someone sing malar in another key?
-
UNDERPANTS!
-
CRANBERRIES!
-
SPOO!
-
Today was so busy at work that I only had time to run out for a blood test.
-
I did manage to get a call in to Mom.
-
She's doing well, but she's dealing with the same weather we are.
-
Only a few degrees colder.
-
It got up to 60 there on Sunday. Tomorrow, it could snow.
-
It might get to freeing here tonight.
-
And the same is true off and on for the next week, according to the forecast.
-
Four!
-
Well, we got off that page.
-
You can guess what I did with the invitation.
Whenever I get credit card come-ons, I write, "Refused. Return to Sender," and put it back in the mailbox. That way, the credit card company has to pay full price to get it back. ;)
-
And now, Act Two has started.
-
Looking forward to the Dvorak Cello Concerto tomorrow night.
-
Good night, all.
-
Good night, John.
-
Back from the put-in run-through, which went pretty well. I gave notes and then put gas in the motor car and got some snacks from Gelson's.
-
And we're done!
-
BUT...it was going so well until the next to the last sound cue.
-
Instead, I set off the next light cue, which was lights out! :o
-
I had to back up one light cue and set off the correct sound cue, but even that took a couple of tries. :P
-
Anyway, the show ended and I'm heading home.
Be back later.

Had there been a stamp on the reply envelope Keith and I have had fun writing a response. We would about to waste our last stamp.
-
I keep forgetting to get more stamps.

I didn't know that. If Keith gets one I will tell him about that. I wouldn't want the post office to pay for it.

Oh, oh.
-
Good evening.
-
Or, it was until I saw we were still on page four.
-
With no one here but me.
-
So, at least BK isn’t here to yell at me.
-
The pressure is bad enough all by myself.
-
58 degrees here today.
-
Tomorrow it will be a few degrees cooler, but still mid-fifties.
-
Mid-fifties was corrected to med-fifties.
-
Page 5!

Laura, no offense, but that current photo of your grandson isn’t very cute.

But, what do I know?

I didn’t submit my order to Safeway today.
-
Hi Tom.
-
Probably tomorrow.
-
Delivery day will be Monday (probably)
-
I am returning to The Dutch House which I am reading for my book group discussion on Monday.
-
I didn’t submit my order to Safeway today.
Why not?
-
Jane, I can always get a delivery the next day.
-
But I have to be willing to take whatever delivery times are available.
-
Got it.
-
If you want a 10:00 am to 11:00 am delivery time, but too many other people are all ready scheduled, you have to pick a different time.
-
I didn’t submit my order to Safeway today.
Why not?
Because I was lazy.
-
I never wait till I am down to the last two pieces of toilet paper, so I always (almost) plan ahead.
-
I am going to get back to my Miranda James’ cat murder mystery book.
-
This is the third one I have read this week.
-
I am thinking I should add a kitty to my murder mystery? Or maybe a Great Dane?
-
I need to think about that.
-
Good night!
-
I didn’t submit my order to Safeway today.
Why not?
Because I was lazy.
And it wasn't urgent.
-
I am going to get back to my Miranda James’ cat murder mystery book.
I have never gotten around to reading them.
-
'night

Don't worry, they don't.

Instead, I set off the next light cue, which was lights out! :o
Oh, oh.
Yup. Dopey me!

Hi, Jane.
