Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both proper and home-cooked, and now it is time for you to post until the home-cooked cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ACUMEN!
-
First post after BK.
-
Tonight, I'm working concessions for BEATLES VS. STONES – A MUSICAL SHOWDOWN (https://www.washingtoncenter.org/event/20-02-24-beatles-vs-stones/). It's been to the Washington Center before, so a lot of tickets have sold. I'm sure that it'll be a good concert.
-
And now, I'm off to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
This morning I will make the trek to my accountant's office to sign my taxes and pay them. Once I'm home, I have no plans.
-
In case I missed somebody yesterday, many thanks for the birthday wishes.

Good morning
-
Good morning, all.
-
Already running late.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Monday.
In case you haven't noticed.
-
My day has in store for me:
1. Paying an ugly bill.
2. Assembling a huge load of trash and recycling for the weekly pickup.
3. Doing one (1) load of laundry.
4. Straightening up the Music Room a little more. Got some done last week but it needs: more.
5. Picking up a weird little lightbulb to replace the burned out one over the stove. (Why don't I just buy half a dozen of these at a time? Maybe they're pricey? I don't remember, but I'll soon be finding out.)
And then hopefully enjoying a long afternoon/evening of relaxing, listening, and watching, don't know what yet.

ILLYA DARLING! and ANYA are highly recommended by the likes of me. ILLYA DARLING! of course costars the recently embalmed Mr. Orson Bean.

The furnace man is coming for a regular maintenance on my cooling system today.....I shall not be following his suggestions, since his furnace repair wiped out my bank account, but it will be nice to see him again.

Re the CD hunt:
DR KevinH: Thank you for the link. It took me to the iTunes site but I looked around and found nothing there except their stuff for sale and my own library, such as it is, with just the few items that are sitting on my hard drive. But I'm thoroughly untrained in the art of iTunes, so I could easily be missing an obvious course of action. (I really need to get on this. My bad, as they say. I'll work on this later.)
DR George: Congratulations on finding what sounds like ALL of the CDs. I'll just ask you straight out if you would please make a set of copies, at your leisure. I'm probably not the only one interested, and I think you should let us know how we can reimburse you for discs and shipping. I know it's not a lot of money, but you do a lot of this for us here.

Hi DR ChasSmith: Sorry it didn't work, but good news! George has already made the WAV files and has volunteered to send them to whoever would like them!
-
Thanks again, DR George!
-
Yes, thank you!
-
Monday.
In case you haven't noticed.
And how.
-
Add me to the disc list, George.
-
ILLYA DARLING! and ANYA are highly recommended by the likes of me. ILLYA DARLING! of course costars the recently embalmed Mr. Orson Bean.
It does not include Mr. Stephen Sondheim’s contributions, however.
-
Monday morning greetings! Looks like it's going to be a rainy week here in SW Ohio.
-
I'm up, I'm up - five and a half hours of sleep.
-
I stayed up late, proofing, and, in fact, finished with the lyrics - about a page-and-a-half of additional fixes. I did so because I figured I'd just sleep in. Then I began to have a bad feeling that I misremembered the rehearsal time so I checked and yes indeed I did - ten-thirty, hence the low hours of sleep, although thanks to the home-cooked meal and no eating after, I had no nausea at all and slept well, just not enough.
-
Hopefully, dear reader George can send me the files via a file sharing service.
-
I am back from my peregrinations, and I think I have discovered the secret of regaining your limbo iTunes library.
-
I had a wonderful lunch of a chicken milanesa torta with Swiss cheese, guacamole and pickled jalapeños on handmade sourdough bread. As Molly Bloom would say, yes, yes, yes, yes, YES.
-
But she would say it without commas.
-
I now have my iTunes library back on iTunes. There are two problems: the songs in an album are too often no longer in album sequence and there's no way to reconstruct playlists.
-
I was excited for you until I read about the problems.
-
Thanks again, DR George!
My pleasure!
-
Hopefully, dear reader George can send me the files via a file sharing service.
E-mail with link sent!
-
Downloading now.
-
Rehearsal was fun.
-
Now I'll go pick up packages and eat.
-
Downloading now.
Cool.
-
So glad that DR GEORGE found his errant disc.
I shall continue to look for mine - I know I have it....
-
The young man from Summers Heating & Cooling found NO problems with my cooling unit.
I have two replaceable filters on my furnace - one in the NEW high efficiency furnace/heat pump and one in the wall that is a holdover from when the house was new and had an oil furnace [long gone].
He suggested I just use the one in the furnace and leave the wall grate without one....for efficiency.....I did.
He also set my heat threshold on the heat pump to 40 degrees....so the furnace will not come on above that temp and use gas....it had been set at a blistering 50 degrees.
Money saving things....which are always appreciated.
-
It's a start DR ELMORE.....
-
Downloading now.
Cool.
Very.
-
Had a chicken salad sandwich and a small number of fries.
-
I just finished writing the commentary, so that's now done.
-
Will enter final fixes tomorrow with Grant. Still to come, the flap copy for the dust jacket, and I'm waiting on a blurb from Rupert Holmes, which I believe will arrive on Wednesday.
-
So, tonight I can relax a bit, and go over the book another time.
-
Well, I need to be going now. I'm working concessions downtown and need to get there pretty soon.
Be back later.
-
But before I go...BK, did you see my last PM with my question?
And NOW I'm leaving. :)
-
No, I have to look, but I did download the files.
-
We had a good turnout for my small book discussion group. As I suspected, The Dutch House was an excellent book to discuss.
-
Hello I have no news
-
Quesadillas for dinner
-
I ordered a phone case for my new phone on Amazon
-
It arrived today but it’s. Too small
-
Fortunately it is returnable
-
So tomorrow it shall be returned
-
Well that’s page three
-
The quesadillas came out quite well
-
We are still watching the BBC program Scott and Bailey
-
It arrived today but it’s. Too small
Darn.
-
So tomorrow it shall be returned
Do you have a drop box near you? We pass one almost every day. As long as the package fits in the box it is convenient. If not we have to drive a distance for the UPS store we like.
-
It is very interesting
-
So tomorrow it shall be returned

Yes there’s one right across the street from my office
-
Dozed off for a bit, now an hour ten into a motion picture.

Gilbert: Can I help?
Iris Henderson: Only by going away.
Gilbert: No, no, no, no. My father always taught me, never desert a lady in trouble. He even carried that as far as marrying Mother
-
From The Lady Vanishes which we watched tonight.
-
Good evening.
-
What the Hell?
-
Post #74??
-
Is everyone gone this week?
-
We are all celebrating Passover a bit early?
-
C R A N B E R R I E S ?

UNDERPANTS
-
Good grief!
-
We are hardly making progress.
-
Obla di
-
Obla da.
-
I don’t even know how to spell it correctly.
-
After yesterday’s great postings.
-
We really tanked today.
-
I did not leave the home today.
-
It was rainy on and off.
-
Tomorrow should be better.
-
One more post.

Tomorrow, I believe, I am lunching with Auntie Sharry.
-
We will touch base in the morning.
-
I think we decided on Applebee’s.
-
But that is subject to change.
-
I don’t have any other suggestions.
-
There is always the soup kitchen at the Tacoma Rescue Mission.
-
Although, I am sure that Sharry would overdress.
-
How does one dress for a soup kitchen?
-
Perhaps vixmom could give some tips.
-
Vixmom’s day in the City sounds wonderful.
-
MACK AND MABEL and COME FROM AWAY all in one day.
-
Along with several grazing sessions.
-
I really do miss New York City.
-
And I miss New Jersey.
-
Lodi was a lovely place to live.
-
Almost entirely Italian.
-
At least it was back in 1980.
-
And no crime, but organized crime.
-
Less than a hour drive into the City, depending on traffic.
-
But, as I have said before, Manhattan is not really the most wheelchair accessible city.
-
Oh well, I would love to go back for a weekend.
-
I would love to see THE MUSIC MAN with Hugh Jackman.
-
I haven’t checked the reviews of WEST SIDE STORY.
-
Well, Rolling Stone loved it!
-
That was the first review that I saw.
-
I will check the rest of the reviews tomorrow.
-
I doubt I would go see WSS if I came to New York.
-
We are making progress.
-
One more post.

-
God, I am tired.
-
I really have things I need to get done tonight before bed.
-
And it is almost midnight.
-
I got us to the big 5 tonight.
-
Sorry, but I must go.
-
Good night.
-
Add me to the disc list, George.
Got it. :)
-
I'm finally home.
-
The Rolling Stones/Beatles tribute battle concert was pretty good.
-
I didn't see the whole thing, though.
-
The parts that I did see were a bit too loud...which is how loud the whole concert probably was.
-
After the show, Margo (who ushered) and I went to McMenamin's for a late light dinner.
-
We each usually get the half Caesar salad and split their two mini hamburgers.
-
The mini burgers are really good, but their Caesar salads seemed to have changed and I don't think they're as good as they used to be. :-\
-
This is most unseemly.
-
There has been a DEARTH of postings.
-
Alas, the new notes are up and I shall now change the topic.
