Well, you've read the notes, the notes ate themselves, and now it is time for you to post until the eating themselves cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ALBEIT!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I was very happy with the outcome of last night's elections.
-
I was also very happy to see that my IRS return landed in my bank account this morning.
-
I'm thinking I may actually make that Big Supermarket trip this morning.
-
DR George, it was nice to see a photo of Neve. DR Laura doesn't post enough photos of her babies.
-
I am hoping that I will hear from Dr Glickman today with the MRI results.
-
Good morning!
-
I have consumed my oatmeal with flaxseed to which I added fresh sliced strawberries
-
And now I am drinking coffee
-
Kitty cleanup over, I do think I will make the Big Supermarket trip this morning.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Our refunds came quickly this year. I got my refund in six days, a record for me. But that was a few weeks ago and this is still early for most people. The longer you wait to file, the longer the response time.
-
And was that not a brilliant post?
I declare ("I don't, that's how I get to keep it"), with the ability to make keen observations like that one, I should be writing a book.

LOL!

My small refund landed about six days after I filed.....
-
Isn't the ALBEIT part of an egg?
-
I am distressed at Concord Musicals.....they do NOT send a hard copy for perusal.....you have two weeks to look at a copy of the script online. It cannot be printed out.
It's very difficult to plan a rehearsal schedule, decide exactly how one wants the set, choose audition sides, etc.
And I think now that R/H shows are under their umbrella is the reason we hear all of these parodies on network television, etc. They are certainly not as protective of the material as R/H Theatricals seemed to be.
-
Wednesday morning greetings! After 2 busy days with all 3 of my ladies' organizations, I'm ready for a few days at home (and off my feet). The big news yesterday was that I drove my own car for the first time since February 5.
-
FYI:

I am back from the Big Supermarket. I love shopping there. The only item I could not find was frozen lima beans. I staggered out with four shopping bags, luckily caught a taxi, and everything is now put away. I want to make a trip tomorrow to Broadway Farms for fresh fruit after my lab work.
-
Once I'm back from that, I'll spend tomorrow making vegetable soup. I also purchased things to make chili. I do not know why the Big Supermarket does not have ground pork.

DR JRand69, what is the libretto you are reading?
I am sorry to hear about the latest decline and fall of the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization to Concord, along with Samuel French and Tams-Witmark. I loved working with them between 1986 or so and 2011.

Initial visit to physical therapy is now scheduled for 2:30 this afternoon!
-
Good morning, all.
-
I’ve made it to Las Vegas. Waiting for my connection.

Read Alice Duer Miller’s The Beauty and the Bolshevist on the flight. Screwball fun with a surprising feminist twist.
-
Now diving into The Green Road by Anne Enright. Really enjoying it.
-
Irish women writers these days are great. Anna Burns, Sally Rooney, Enright.

Jack, I noticed you were the only comment on my "Everyone Goes" salute to Broadway nudity eight or nine years ago.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIrsCaiRLNg&feature=youtu.be
-
I wonder of there will be droplet shields for the nude scene in the new revival of "Take me Out."
-
meaning the droplets form the onstage shower of course, not the naked actors.
-
I'm up, I'm up - not quite eight hours of sleep. No book stuff yet.
-
I guess the nudity in "Take Me Out" is true to the spirit of the play.
-
Like, should they be wearing parkas in the shower?
-
Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Patrick J Adams are among the name starring in the revival.
-
I was also very happy to see that my IRS return landed in my bank account this morning.
Hoo and Ray!!

More of both.

Just landed in SF

Three!

I am home. The lesion is a tumor, and Dr Glickman thinks the MRI may show a growth on my prostate as well. The bad news is that he says generally around 20% of kidney tumors are benign and the other 80% are not. My emotions at the moment are in a tailspin.
-
Book has been sent to the publisher and hopefully it will be a smooooooother ride than last year.

I am sorry for your news. Did you discuss your surgery on the 23rd and does Dr. Glickman expect your HMO to approve him as a second surgeon?

I've been listening to music, mostly, along with answering e-mails.

Elmore, I have had tumors on both kidneys. I can certainly empathize with how you’re feeling. Message me if you want me to give you a call.
-
Elmore, wishing you all the best with your diagnoses and follow ups. I know everything will be okay!

Well, I'm off. Years ago, I used to sing in a vocal workshop lead by Mark Anton. That broke up but now he's putting it back together. A couple of the previous members will be there, so I decided to give it a try again. I'll need to bow out when I'm in a show (and I have three coming up!), so we'll see how involved I can actually be.
Be back later.

Lots of vibes for DR Elmore!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sending vibes and prayers and hugs and love to our Elmore

Let’s move on ...
-
Four!
-
I have walked 36,000 steps today.
-
But my butt has been planted for a half hour. On my second cocktail.
-
Enjoy your evening.
-
Good night, all.
-
Page four? Really?
-
I got hungry, so made some pasta with butter and cheese and ate it all up. Must stop doing such things.
-
Listening to music after nodding off and watching half a motion picture.

I can not believe what is happening in my own state.
-
There are 39 people in the entire state that have tested positive for the Coronavirus....
-
39 patients!!
-
But this state has gone crazy.
-
One school district, the Northshore School District, has cancelled classes in all of their schools for two weeks.
-
They will teach classes online.
-
Who is going to film all of these classes.
-
They can’t have the teachers gather at one school to use the district’s equipment, because of fear of exposure.
-
So, all of these teachers are going to sit around their houses in their robes and broadcast on their laptops?
-
How can they be sure they are reaching their students?
-
What if some students don’thave Internet in their home?
-
The kids can’t go to the library for fear of exposure.
-
The school is trying to work out a plan for child care for all the kids.
-
The school is going to work that out?
-
I think the parents may not be too thrilled about unknown child care workers.
-
I'm home.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
On another front, their is an apartment building right next to the infected nursing home.
-

It was fun. Only one other person showed up but we caught up and chatted and sang and ate and had a good time. :)
-
The tenants want the nursing home closed due to possible exposure from Coronavirus.
-
One more post.
-
Page 5
-
39 patients!!
:o
-
It wasn't me!!
-
King County (Seattle) bought a motel in the city of Kentto use as a place to quarantine Coronavirus patients, without telling anyone in the city’s government or the company they bought it from what they were doing.
-
They have another quarantine site made up of 18 self-contained RVs. Very nice RVs!
-
39 patients.
-
The city of Seattle has announced that will be cleaning all of their buses on a regular basis, instead of the normal once every 30 days! Gross.
-
I could go on and on, but the whole thing is crazy.
-
The city of Seattle has announced that will be cleaning all of their buses on a regular basis, instead of the normal once every 30 days! Gross.
Stephen Colbert just said that the city of New York will disinfect the subways every 72 hours.
-
Good luck with that!
-
Soon people will stop going to theater, and concerts, and sporting events for fear of infection.
-
Maybe I shouldn’t go to rehearsals, for fear of infection.
-
I am out of here.
-
Good night, George.
-
Maybe I shouldn’t go to rehearsals, for fear of infection.
You gotta do whatcha gotta do. ;)
-
Good night, George.
Good night, Tom.
