I slept rather well last night. My right shoulder has been bothering me. My mother had bursitis, and I'm wondering if I might have a touch of that.
DR Jrand69, I pray that that's something you dreamed last night, perhaps caused by an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of underdone potato.
I think something needs to be done about that, DR John G.
That's a great story, Jane.

Pam Dawber is still completely clueless about her own role in the success of MORK AND MINDY.
I just found a box of cookie dough in my freezer that I didn’t know was there. Chocolate chip-pecan.
My question for ASK BK DAY:
Did you ever meet Robin Williams?

Conrad Birdie Barnum is asleep. He always naps after The Young and the Restless ends.....
DR John did you buy the box of cookie dough? I am wondering if there is a good one to recommend for my brother.

Good. Does this mean you will keep the deliveries?

I bought it from someone at work. It was a fundraiser for her kid’s school.

No. We decided yesterday to cancel until I'm home from the surgery.
Well since I have been mowing between the sidewalk and the street, that is what I was doing.
I was pulling the mower back and didn't realize that storm drain opening was behind me, so I fell on my back into the street.
I was down for half a minute when the lady from across the street came over and helped me up.....her name is Stacia and I now know her entire life story and how her church is dealing with the quarantine.....
Interesting links DR ELMORE. I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at in the second one, but I'll watch some more later.

Magdalena was an operetta produced by Edwin Lester that flopped on Broadway around 1948, starring John Rait, Irra Petina, and Dorothy Sarnoff. The score was never recorded with the original cast, but in the late 1980s my friend Evans Haile conducted a concert that did get recorded. Since then there have been a couple of productions, including the huge one at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris,

Yes DR JANE - falling down and NOT being injured is always funny....and I know how to land so I didn't even get a bruise that I can see.....
A video would have been a nice addition to FaceBook.
Okay.....I'm dumb....I can't figure this out.....a FaceBook thing....
The only state without an A.
The answer is Hawaii - and I can't figure how that could be......
This just put a big smile on my face!

I had a really rough few days. Don't know if it was because if my sister's bday or because of Mother's day and not being able to be there or because my life just slowed down enough that all that grief caught up with me. I'm doing better today. This week I have work to do, but no deadlines...well I got one today, but I've just taken it easy and been relaxing most of the time. I'm hoping my brain will work better tomorrow as I do have to write a reply brief
Finished with my viewing. Not going for a drive - instead I let the motor run for a few minutes.
I was going to travel to the Dollar Tree today, but I decided to wait until tomorrow.
There is nothing I NEED, but that will change in a day or so....
I do believe and will admit freely that I have eaten an entire pizza over the course of the day and evening. Haven't done that in years, but boy was it good.
I purchased Simply - A Lifetime of Lyrics on Kindle, just to have it.
A local elementary is having a drive by at the school so the kids can see their teachers and vice versa....
It is very nice news story.....everybody is so happy!
Ten Indiana utility companies have filed a petition with the state to be able to charge customers for the power that they didn't have to provide during the pandemic.....since they aren't making as much money as they usually do.....
Charge individuals because businesses didn't pay as much as usual?
That's the height of PUNCTUALITY as Shirley Temple as Heidi would say!

Did you just get it, George? It's almost in the top 50 in lyrics with music category.
The first thing they did when I got to the HMO was take my temperature: 97.8
Started watching Jean Renoir's La Chienne (The Bitch), but it was just too ugly for my mood tonight. So, I put on a bootleg of the flop revival of On a Clear Day. From the beginning, when a dour Harry Connick takes the stage, it's easy to see why this production flopped. Instead of John Cullum's clear, resonant baritone, we get Connick's tenor and the songs all sound wrong. I never cared for Yves Montand in the movie version, but his singing there was better than this.
Our cases and deaths are still rising, but the state is opening up. Even salons and gyms. No theaters or casinos or bars, but it will happen. I go back and forth about how I feel about it. I would love a haircut, though

The national news was screaming about the virus taking off in cities like Des Moines, Iowa. I thought, “Oh Hell, Cilla told me all about that days ago.”
And, even weirder, but very beautiful, the complete Théâtre du Châtelet production of the Broadway flop Magdalena, by Wright & Forrest and Villa Lobos! It's a gorgeous score.

Thank you. On top of everything, the vet I really like is retiring and he's selling his practice to a vet practice I can't stand. Today was a tough day for me, Nicky-wise. I got all weepy several times, and I even thought I saw Nick, two different times.
I do believe and will admit freely that I have eaten an entire pizza over the course of the day and evening. Haven't done that in years, but boy was it good.
It is hurting to type. I thought if I took a break it would help but it didn't.

Hi, Tom and Cillaliz.
T.O.D.
I have searched for several people online, including the great love of my life. I have managed to locate most all of them, but several had passed away.
One of my dearest friends (almost like a brother) I found his address and his phone number, but I held on to it without using it for almost two years. When I finally got ready to call, I double-checked my info, and I found out he had died.

Big deal...I've eaten an entire pizza in a single meal! :o

I have done that occasionally. I had someone find me I really never wanted to hear from...nothing bad...just a situation I'd rather forget. I just ignored his friend request

Sorry to hear that, Tom

That's too bad.
