Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland 106, and now it is time for you to post until the 106 cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: GEST!
-
elmore, your package most likely went out this weekend - because you had other things ordered they had to go to the warehouse to get them. You should have it soon.
-
Daniel Bellusci' "10 gallon hat" was funny! :))
-
Love Brent Barrett!
-
Kerry O'Malley has brought out the props again! :))
-
Great concert, BK! I loved it!
-
Well, I gotta get to bed. I start back to work for my regular schedule in the morning!
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
Yesterday was a recuperative setback day, and I spent most of it in bed. I slept quite poorly last night, and I am only up because I have to tidy the place before my physical therapist arrives between 11 and 1:00.
-
DR TCB, good news about the cancer scare! I'm hoping my news on Wednesday is equally good.
-
I unfortunately missed last night's show. I hope I can get to it after the therapist has left today.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Getting —
Well, no, I’m GIVING myself a slow start to the day.
-
But it’s another gorgeous day here and I intend to take advantage of it.
Pretty soon now.
-
I thought night’s show was exceptional.
I watched last month’s (from YouTube) with the laptop connected to my TV and the Big Speakers. For this one I watched directly on the laptop, with the audio routed through an interface into my desktop monitors. I initially opened browser tabs to both the Facebook and YouTube pages, and decided to stick with FB this time.
BK — I‘m on Safari (Mac/Mojave) and I don’t remember noticing any glitches. What should I be looking for?
-
I think Liza Minnelli used to be Mrs. GEST.
-
Good news from DR TCB.
-
TOD:
I Want To Eat Your Face by MR BK.....with gestures....
and
TWO ROADS - by Mr BB - which is turning out to be one of my favorite songs EVER.....
-
I enjoyed everything......yes TEN GALLON HAT was terrific.....I don't think that's the title.....but you know what I mean....Daniel B is always fun and on the money....
-
Today is lawn mowing day - so I'm going out to do my part before it gets too hot.
-
Same here, DR Jrand69, because we get the heat back tomorrow. There's mowing and some weed whacking to be done.
-
Shirley U. GEST was my third grade teacher.
-
No, that's not true.
But wouldn't that have been great?
-
Good morning, all.
-
Strange morning. People keep getting kicked out of the system.
-
TOD:
The diet song was a great discovery.
Christiane Noll did a lovely version of Simply.
Daniel B’s Psycho
Brent’s Two Roads
-
Tonight I hope to have a chance to see, finally, Shakespeare’s Henry VIII, the last of his plays I have to see.
-
Monday morning greetings! We have a very quiet week ahead of us, just waiting for baby news from Illinois...
-
Baby news!
-
Anxiously awaiting the return of DR JANE.
-
PAGE TWO!
-
Simply has arrived in hardcover in Indiana.
Inscribed by the author with a musical notation from one of the lovely songs last night!
I shall begin reading tomorrow. It is quite a HEFTY tome.
-
Simply has arrived in San Antonio. Many thanks for the kind note in the acknowledgments.
-
It feels wonderful to hold a physical copy of this one.
-
Good afternoon!
-
Great Show- Once Again "You're The Best " Can;t Wait For JULY ! Thanks !
-
My physical therapist was late. Very late. I liked her. She's Brazilian.
-
Brazilians have no concept of time. Just love them. That’s all they ask.
-
I'm up, I'm up - almost seven hours of sleep - was up at 11:30 to find that the power had gone off at some point, so had to restart the computer, reset the clocks - most irritating. Casting away, and then I can start choosing songs.
-
The new Stephen King audiobook, If It Bleeds, has come in. It’s a collection of stories, including one with his great character Holly Gibney, and Danny Burstein is one of the narrators.
-
Katie Couric is going to interview Rebecca Luker for an ALS fundraiser.

I'm in a meeting that's driving me crazy. There are 25 people and they aren't saying anything, but they keep talking. It's like theater of the absurd. Ionesco is running the meeting.
-
Back from picking up no packages or mail, stopping at the Studio City BofA to find it still closed and their ATMs not being able to either give cash or make deposits - this is beyond stupid at this point and I'll be calling them tomorrow to let them know that in no uncertain terms.
-
So, I had to go to the Sherman Oaks branch - lines a block long to get in and no parking spaces because a bunch of yahoos are lined up for a block to get into Ross for Less. I finally parked down the street and used the ATM for the deposit.
-
Then I decided on Taco Bell, brought it home (both McDonald's and Taco Bell at two pm had huge drive-through lines - but I went in and not a soul was in the jernt), ate it up and it was very good, actually, and now I'm relaxing and working on casting.
-
And then there's this page two malarkey. We need Jane back here and I hope she's back soon or I shall have to send an e-mail, oh, yes, I shall have to send an e-mail. So far, three people are cast.

Wow.
-
What??!!!
-
Since I haven't reported in awhile, I shall say that gasoline is $2.09 per gallon here.
AND the last station in town that had pump then pay inside has gone to PREPAY.....which means I either don't get a full tank because I misjudged OR I have to go back into the place because I thought I needed more than I did....Cornpone's Misjudgment.

What the HELL??!!!

That’s too bad. I don’t remember when and where I was last at a station that had pump then pay, but I do know it felt so nice to be back in such an environment, however briefly.
-
Good evening.
-
I enjoyed the show last night. I watched on Youtube.
-
Look what has arrived in Tumwater! ;D
-
Thanks, BK!
-
Did people get the same musical quote or were they different? Not that it matters either way...just curious. :)
-
DR TCB, good news about the cancer scare! I'm hoping my news on Wednesday is equally good.
~~~Equally Good News Vibes for Larry!!~~~
Whenever I've had to prepay, I've always (tried to) overpay so that I know I get enough gas, then I just have to go back in to get my change.
-
Well, that's been my day at work! Not too much to do, but I was here to do it. ;) And now, I'm leaving.
Be back later.
-
Same quote - it would have been insanity to do different ones ;) I had a rubber stamp to the the staff lines and then just hand-did the quote.
-
No videos tonight. Seems strange. But I’m getting into the first novella of If It Bleeds.
-
I may even head off to bed early.
-
Hello, 0 guests!
-
What’s your favorite Stephen King novel?
-
What’s your fourth favorite?
-
It would be silly to ask what your eighth favorite is.
-
I read a highly subjective list of Stephen Spielberg’s movies. The worst were 1941 and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, which I never saw.
-
Jaws was the writer’s favorite.
-
Sorry to have been E&T
-
I am listening to the Kritzerland show now
Healing vibes to elmore
Good medical news vibes to Elmore
Goodnight
Mmm...English muffins. Haven't had one of those in quite a while. I may have to rectify that soon. :)
-
Four is better than three - thanks, Vixmom!
-
AARRGGHH!! >:(
-
I'm trying to watch a video from America's Test Kitchen about making Kung Pao Chicken (https://www.americastestkitchen.com/videos/4247-kung-pao-chicken) but it's taking forever to load!
-
It plays for less than 10 seconds, then it loads for about a minute before it plays for another few seconds, then it has to load again!
-
WTF?? :o
-
And now...Gratuitous Post #100!!
-
Let's have gratuitous post #200.
-
I'll try...so, I was looking for something on my computer that I haven't found yet, but I did come across a series of nine videos that were filmed at the Kennedy Center in 2002 when they were doing The Sondheim Celebration!
-
I originally saved them in the FLV file format (flash video, I think), but I'm now converting them to MP4.
-
In the FLV format, I couldn't tell how long the videos were, or what the dimensions, but the MP4 format will show that.
-
Anyway, here are descriptions of the videos that I had in a Word document:
-
The Sondheim Celebration – On the Stage
Stephen Sondheim talks at length about his storied career in the theater, while the stars of The Sondheim Celebration step out on the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, singing and dancing to their favorite Sondheim tunes.
-
And finally:
09-The Sondheim Celebration: Looking Back
On February 11, 2002, the day the box office opened for the sale of tickets to The Sondheim Celebration, customers began lining up before the building opened. At close of business, more than $600,000 worth of tickets had been purchased - unprecedented sales for an unprecedented event: six musicals in repertory during four months. By the middle of August, each show had become virtually sold out. [5 minutes 52 seconds]
-
:D
-
They're not hi-def...the video dimensions are 640x480.
-
When hi-def now is 1920x1080 (or more), they're pretty small.
-
But, I think I found only one on YouTube, but none of the others, nor are could I find them on the Kennedy Center website, where I originally got them from.
-
PAGE FIVE KENNEDY CENTER SONDHEIM CELEBRATION DANCE!!
-
I have the souvenir program and the set of posters for the Celebration. :)
-
I don't have those postcards, though.
-
Oh! I just found this on YouTube that I didn't know about:
Sondheim Kennedy Center Celebration Featurette - 2002 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOpQP4x3pyg)!
-
This has Barbara Cook, Christine Baranski, and Lynn Redgrave.
-
One can never have enough Barbara Cook, Christine Baranski, and Lynn Redgrave interviews! ;)
-
I'll add it to my other Kennedy Center Sondheim Celebration videos! ;D
-
It'll be a bonus track.
-
Someone email Jane or send me here email address. AOL just "loses" e-mail addresses if you haven't used in a while, something I will never understand.
-
I could use a bonus track right about now.
-
Or as Groucho said, throw the dog a bonus.
-
Someone send me Jane's email address - oh, I said that already.
-
New notes are up.
-
And why shouldn't they be?
-
Why I oughta...
-
Someone say something.
-
Someone do something.
-
Someone run amok.
-
Someone say, "Gag me with a spoon."
-
Someone say UNDERPANTS!
-
Someone eat a churro.
-
Someone hit me with a hot note and watch me bounce.
-
Someone email Jane or send me here email address. AOL just "loses" e-mail addresses if you haven't used in a while, something I will never understand.
I'll see if I have it.
-
Someone in a Tree.
-
Someone blow out the candles, Laura - and so, goodnight.
-
Found it...hang on.
-
PM sent.
-
I have sent the PM.
