Well, you've read the notes, the notes know where your children are, and now it is time for you to post until the do you know where your cows are cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: INTUITIVE!
-
That's pretty cool about the program, BK. Congrats on the find.
-
Well, I'm off to bed. I have a bit of a headache, but I took some ibuprofen. Hopefully, I'll feel fine in the morning.
Have a good day, all!
-
I don't mind Schubert. I wonder if sherbet goes well with Schubert.
-
Schubert's eighth - the "Unfinished" - why didn't that bad boy finish the damn thing? He finished the ninth. But I really like the Unfinished - beautiful tunes, highly Romantic in nature and beautifully done in the stereophonic sound.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept rather well, and I remember bits of two dreams: I was working at a Barnes & Noble on Chrisdtmas Eve, but not the one where I actually did work. The location in the dream was 48th and Seventh Avenue, the site where the Drama Book Shop was after it moved in 1981. One of my co-workers was DR Ginny at times and at other times our friend Maryrose. One of my Miami University Summer Theatre friends, Danajean Cicherchi, was selling food outside the store because, with the theatres all closed, she need to work. I left the store after wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and got halfway down the block before I remembered I left my shoes in my locker at the store.
-
In the other dream I discovered that John McGlinn had discovered before his death more info on various plans by L. Frank Baum to use characters and plot lines from Babes In Toyland, and that had me searching about Manhattan. I was on Tenth Avenue waiting for a bus when I figured, why don't I drive? So I got in my car and drove up Tenth Avenue in a car with faulty brakes. I woke up.
-
Last night, timid Thatch finally checked out the new chest of drawers before he finally jumped up to the top and found waiting for him the box he likes to sleep on.
-
My only plans today are to call the Columbia Dental Clinic and see what's going on there. I realized the problem with NYU clinic is that there are no student dentists.
-
And I must cart three more drawers to the basement.

Good morning, all.
-
I've been cleaning out emails and wiping things off my desktop for the past hour. It was very helpful and very much needed.
-
I am tired. I slept but I would rather sleep for another hour or two.
-
There are a lot of things that many people like, but I am just not INTUITIVE.
-
Waste not, want not.
Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead!
-
Good morning, all.

My favorite conflating of two old saws is:
You've buttered your bread, now lie in it.

Very interesting. Bookmarked that.
-
Both of DR Elmore's dreams have elements in common with many of mine, especially the getting about / transportation mode segments.
-
The latest discussion in The Husband Hunters has to do with whether a man had Syphilis or a brain tumor.
-
I often get those two confused.
-
And why does Spellcheck cap syphilis?
-
Too many issues for a Monday morning. I’m just not INTUITIVE.
-
I love a good Dracula ballet!
-
Almost as much as a good Dracula musical. Wait ...
-
Good morning.
-
I ate one zucchini for breakfast then used two in zucchini muffins. Ten more to go.
-
I have some white bread rolls in the oven now. They smell good.
-
Two!

I'll have to send this to my sister's boyfriend. He really likes ballet and may like this, or at least get a kick out of it. ;)

I like one from the musical City of Angels: that's a ballgame of a different color. ;D
-
I love a good Dracula ballet!
I almost forgot...there's also a Frankenstein ballet (https://youtu.be/POFQ7gxLwdw).

Almost as much as a good Dracula musical. Wait ...
The operative word being good.

Last night we finished watching the entire series of Voyager. I forgot out great the last season was, and how terrific the last episode was.
-
I'm up, I'm up - five-and-a-half hours of sleep - could not fall asleep last night - finally did at six.

I liked it better the second time around.

And I liked it very much the first time.

I am sorry about Seattle, Portland, Philly, etc. Right or wrong, I just wish they would all go home.
-
Half the women in my book discussion group decided it will be too hot to sit outside this afternoon. We have now moved it to Friday when the temps should be much cooler.
-
Good afternoon to all.
-
I am sorry about Seattle, Portland, Philly, etc. Right or wrong, I just wish they would all go home.
And that's really the point isn't it? Fifty days straight in Portland - at some point this is a little past its expiry and effectiveness date.
-
Had three tortillas with beans, cheese, onions, and guacamole - pretty good and pretty filling and VERY calorie friendly. I buy the no-fat beans - 100 calories, three servings in a can, of which I only used two.

I agree though others don't. As I have mentioned before the Portland protesters were slowly going away until the government interfered :(
-
My friends in Portland say it is only a two block area and everywhere else it is very quiet. The news makes it seems as if all of Portland is crazy.

Sounds good.

Nice look DR GEORGE.
The makeup on that ballet Frankenstein monster was very scary.
-
Nice photo, George.

Trying to wake up after a nap.

Thanks, Jrand and John!

Page two???
-
Really?
-
Listening to music, did a little reading, did Kritzerland show stuff, and am now relaxing.
-
Page three? Really?
-
We just had a double rainbow outside, which was rather unbelievable. Well, getting some rain was rather unbelievable, too.

Really.

Haven't left the house, so I guess there will be a drive later.
-
I just sent a message to my vet (through their website) for an appointment for Neve.
-
She's been sneezing since the middle of last week and it hasn't really stopped.
-
I hope it can be dealt with easily. :-\
-
Good vibes for Neve.
-
Is she is eating well and acting normal aside from the sneezing?
-
I'm eating well and not sneezing. I was a bad boy - I got a chocolate peanut butter thing from a sweets place - very rich and very good - wasn't huge.
-
Good vibes for Neve.
And more vibes.

My friend Carol had to be rushed to the hospital today. By order of one of her doctors. The area around the hip replacement she had done less than a year ago developed an infection. They're going to have to take the hip out and put in a temp that is filled with antobiotics. She will have to have that in at least six weeks. The surgeon who did the surgery has not been pleased that she regained some of the weight she had lost and wants her to loose some again before he puts a new one in. She's going to be laid up for awhile.
-
Good vibes for Neve.
Thanks, Jane!

I think so.

Oh, no! :(
~~~Vibes of All Kinds for Carol!!~~~
-
And now, I need to leave work and do a little shopping.
Be back later.
-
A friend gave me several cups of figs from her tree. I had to do something with them before leaving for Louisville, so I’ve got a pot of chutney simmering on the stove.
-
Had a drive and am now home.
Bruno with a B doing Mozart with an M.
Read an obit recently of the British novelist Josephine Cox. I had never read one of her more than 60 novels. The library had one on audio, The Loner, which I started tonight. Gripping. I may have to find one or two more.
-
Good night, all.
-
We need some ACTION!
I feel so bad for her. I have never heard of anything like this.
Healing vibes for Carol.
When I first went to the dentist here he asked if I took antibiotics when having my teeth cleaned or other dental work. He was surprised my surgeon didn't tell me to do that after my partial shoulder replacement. I was shocked he asked.
-
Good vibes for Neve.
Thanks, Jane!
You are welcome.
-
I think so.
That's a good sign.
Good evening.
Page 4? Post #92?
-
Seriously?
-
And I am all alone here.
-
I think I can fall asleep.
-
Healthy vibes for DC Neve?
-
Sorry I can't stay Tom.
-
'night
-
John G, best wishes to your friend Carol. I have never heard of that before.
-
When I had my hip replaced, I developed an infection. The surgeon didn’t do anything like that. He just gave me some heavy antibiotics.
-
And the surgeon never said anything about my losing any weight. Of course, when he took me in for the surgery, he already saw the GOODYEAR tattooed on my sides, so he probably figured it was a waste of time to even ask.
-
George, has Neve ever had any allergies?
-
I had a coughing spell this afternoon. I didn’t think it was going to stop.
-
Today it wax 97 degrees in Olympia.
-
Ir was only about 93 in Puyallup.
-
Possibly 15 degrees cooler tomorrow.
-
I turned on the A/C for about 4 hours this evening.
-
I finally turned it off because I couldn’t hear the TV.
-
It is now getting warm again.
-
Oh well, I will survive.
-
I ordered Mexican food this evening.
-
I should have just gotten a taco salad.
-
That is what I really wanted.
-
Never order food when you are hungry.
-
But why order food if you aren’t hungry?
-
I think my friend Sharry and I will meet up forlinch next week.
-
Unless we go backwards on our Phases.
-
What difference does it make if nobody follows the rules anyway?
-
One more post.
-
Well we had one theater in the area who had their Artistic Director resign. Now, I understand, that another local theater put on a open online discussion on the lack of colorblind casting.
-
I guess a lot of people spoke up.
-
Sadly, I don’t expect any over night changes.
-
Telling this theater that they have a problem is the first step, but then it depends on how well the information is received.
-
The whole thing about colorblind casting is a tough nut to crack.
-
Healthy vibes for DC Neve?
Thanks, Tom!
-
Hi, Tom.
-
George, has Neve ever had any allergies?
Not that I know of. I've only had her less than 3 years, but the e-mail that I got from her original owner never mentioned any kind of allergies.
-
Today it wax 97 degrees in Olympia.
It felt like it!! :P
-
Possibly 15 degrees cooler tomorrow.
Good!
-
I think my friend Sharry and I will meet up forlinch next week.
Enjoy your forlinch and please tell Sharry that I said hi! ;D
That is easy for you to say.
-
I don’t have time to check spelling when I am the only person here and we needed lots of posts.
-
Thanks George, I need to go make two phone calls.
-
Good night.
-
Good night, Tom.
-
So this weekend, I was having problems with my Internet access.
-
It was spotty and even the wi-fi was problematic.
-
When I got home tonight, my phone couldn't even access wi-fi.
-
I had to use my data on my phone.
-
When I turned on my computer, there was no wi-fi, nor was I able to get Internet through the wired Ethernet cable. :o
-
So, I called Comcast Customer Service.
-
It took almost 40 minutes, but (ultimately) the guy found that my modem must've somehow gotten reset and my network information was no longer stored.
-
He was able to get it all reset and now I'm up and running again!
-
WHEW!!
-
My sister's boyfriend is my computer guru.
-
I thought about texting him, but I figured that I'd start with Comcast.
-
I probably should get a new modem because I've had it for quite a while.
-
I should probably also buy one and not pay the monthly fee, so I'll definitely talk to Larry about that.
-
This looks exactly like the modem that I have, except mine says xfinity at the top instead of ARRIS.
-
Just had to share. ;)
