~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Super duper Vibes & Xylophones for tonight's Kritzerland show! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sunday.
I liked DR JEANNE's story last night.
And DR VIXMOM's.
Yes, you are correct. I am posting at three something in the morning, left coast time. I have not slept at all tonight/this morning. I have no idea why. Since the election is finally decided, I would think I would sleep like a baby.
Jared Kushner has approached Trump about conceding. My, my, that is more credit than I would have given him. Of course, it certainly wouldn’t be one of his children.
Norman Lloyd is 106. Remarkable.
Not in the same league, but a friend of my DH's also died - a glorious soprano, who lost mobility due to a carnival accident at 15, but nevertheless went on to have something of a career in classical music and teaching. Irene Gubrud was her name.
Here she is, singing a famous Christmas piece:
That sounds really nice, DR Jennifer!
I watched TWENTIETH CENTURY today. I have never seen the musical.
I have never been able to understand everything Carole Lombard says......I know her screaming and high pitched voice is a valid acting choice.....but what the hell......
78 degrees today......I have spent a couple of hours sitting on my front porch......in my rocking chair......watching airplanes take off and arrive at the airport.
They are usually fairly high, but now and then they use the closest approach and come in L O W ever my house.....probably at about 500 feet or so above me.....or closer.
DR George, your display is quite lovely. It's also got me wondering: who has my dad's flag? I think it's Randy.
Have they called places yet?
George, I always thought Band New Day was the perfect campaign song. Luther Vandross at his finest.
Thanks all! Eating some saltwater taffy to celebrate.
Those poor chickens are getting restless.....I fear DR GEORGE and his sister are going to have a gallus gallus domesticus uprising.
Alex Trebek had died
the Exterminating Angel is back on the Met schedule for next Sunday. In the meantime, Lulu, Peter Grimes and Akhnaten are also on the schedule this week.
One of the clips that YouTube recommended based on Kritzerland was a bootleg of The Prom.
Beth Leavel is great.
A little alarmed that we aren't showing up on YouTube yet - usually it pops up thirty minutes before - and Hartley's not responding to texts or e-mails. It has popped up on Facebook, so if there's an issue go there.
She had a lovely voice. My condolences to your husband and her family. :(
My condolences to your DH.
I saw that! I hope to watch several...we'll see if I actually do. ::)
;)
Why are we on page four?
I don't have anything to say.
I am hoping that I get some sleep tonight.
Lunch tomorrow with my sister.
