Well, you've read the notes, the notes informed you that tonight's the night for Tonight's the Night, and now it is time for you to post until the tonight's the night for Tonight's the Night cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ACUITY!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
Re the TLT URINALS:
Those are the exact same urinals that were there 65 years ago when I first entered that theater.
-
I agree with George that the condo HOA should be responsible for shoveling.
-
Bruce I hope today is better for you than yesterday was.
-
Tom, did you take a photo of your chair?
-

That doesn't surprise me. ::)
;)
-
I agree with George that the condo HOA should be responsible for shoveling.
Unfortunately, the HOA bylaws say they handle the parking lots, but we are responsible for our own sidewalks. And we can be fined if we don’t keep them shoveled.
-
I am not looking forward to the change in our weather.
-
Tom, did you take a photo of your chair?
Sharry and Micheal gave me a photo they took of the nameplate, but you can’t read what it says. I should have taken a photo today, but I didn’t think about it.
-

Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Why? Aren’t the bylaws written by and approved by the home owners?

True...just wishful thinking on my part. But you can also vote to change the bylaws. There should be certain conditions that would make allowances because not everyone is able-bodied. And as people age, there are going to be less able-bodied people who'd be able to shovel their own snow. Why not campaign to change the bylaws now before someone gets hurt or has a medical situation while trying to shovel?
-
Just my 2¢.
-
I am going to call the condo rep and see if there is someone they know of that I could hire to shovel my sidewalk. I have no problem paying someone to do it.

That's also an option. :)
-
Good night, George.
-
Good night, Tom.
-
Well, I pretty sure that I can leave work early today to be able to watch tonight's premiere of "Tonight's the Night." :D
~~~Break Legs Vibes for Everyone!!~~~
-
And now, I must get to sleep. For the last couple of nights, I haven't slept as long as I wanted to, so I need to get to sleep now.
Have a good day, all!
I hope they can help.
-
Well, well, well, look what finally showed up on YouTube - amazing - never thought I'd see this again. Go directly to 49:30 :) https://youtu.be/0WrCs3hJ3io
-
That was a fun scene!
-
Good morning, everyone.
-
Looking forward to tonight's premiere of TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT tonight.
-
Good morning, everyone.
I still haven't fallen asleep.
-
Good morning, all!
-
BK, sorry I missed your posts last night. I can post things this morning.
-
! had never heard of Beggarman, Thief. What a fun surprise!
-
DR Jeanne, the phone is an Alcatel Go Flip. The phone's alarm clock did not ring this morning, so I clearly need more time with the user's manual.
-
{{{ DR Jane }}}, I am sorry about your insomnia.
-
Good morning, all.
-
And OMG, I've just caught up on last night's mishegas.
I can copy or share posts or whatever's needed. I'll read back over everything and see what others have done.
-
Good morning, all.
-
That was a fun scene, BK. Was it a direct sequel to Rich Man, Poor Man?
-
Okay, stupid question. I thought it was obvious, but now that I actually want to do it, it's not obvious. How do you share a post on Facebook? I thought I've always seen that option under the three dots, and it's not there on any post I look at.
Oops, found it. It's BELOW the post.
-
Wednesday. Premiere Night!
-
That was a nice scene - the other guy in the scene sure was flaming a bit......and MR BK had on a shirt with HUGE buttons.....and some highlights in his hair......very au courant.
-
Aaaahhhhh!
-
HE HAD HUGE BUTTONS should be the next title of something-or-other.
-
Well, well, well, look what finally showed up on YouTube - amazing - never thought I'd see this again. Go directly to 49:30 :) https://youtu.be/0WrCs3hJ3io
Wow. What fun!
-
I've posted the announcement with flyer and YouTube link on my page, and in Cast Recordings and Forgotten Musicals. I know those are probably duplications, but I believe that's the name of the game. Right?
What else can we do to help for tonight? Are there lists of names to be tagged, that can be dropped into the posts? I'm not sure how that part works.
-
House work is finished. While I watch today's impeachment I will continue to work on my taxes. I wish NY State would send my 1099 or whatever it is.
-
I shared Hartley’s post on Facebook. Maybe my first post in 15-18 months. I had people ask me if I meant to do that.
-
Good afternoon!
-
That was fun, BK!
-
Wednesday afternoon greetings! I'm at my computer for the first time in several days and had a boatload of email to delete. In about half an hour I'll be "attending" a preview of summer 2021 book titles hosted by Harper Collins publishers.
-
Good morning. Break legs to everyone involved with Tonight's the Night. I hope to see it this evening, but plans that are made are pretty much crap these days. Sometimes I wonder why I continue to work with people and not just have my own business where I don't have to. The younger the people I work with, the less common sense and work ethic there seems to be.
-
I can sum up how I'm feeling about life at the moment as I listen to Guy Haines sing "Getting Away with You" on a loop!
-
I'm up, I"m up - maybe six hours of sleep. Could not fall asleep - and didn't until six.
-
Yes, it was a sequel to Rich Man, Poor Man. This was fun for two reasons and I only did it for one: They called and offered it to me (I think I'd worked with the director on a commercial). I said to my manager, why would I want to do a one-day one-scene gig at this point in my career, ask or not. Then she said the scene was with Jean Simmons and I said take it but no billing. And that's why I did it, to work with Jean Simmons, who was an absolute delight. She asked me to come to her dressing room to run lines and I did and she couldn't keep a straight face. I think she said, "You're so funny, how am I going to keep a straight face?" It was a fun day. The scene is very weirdly edited - sloppy as can be. If you want to establish who I am as a character, you cut right from that script and my character's name, to me, sitting and waiting. But they show me from the back until a third of the way through. I know we shot front shots for all of it. Just weird. But it's a funny scene for me.
-
One of the things I did for an hour while I couldn't sleep was send PMs to people on Facebook - THAT I can still do. Cumbersome, but I did about twenty-five.
-
Well, well, well, look what finally showed up on YouTube - amazing - never thought I'd see this again. Go directly to 49:30 :) https://youtu.be/0WrCs3hJ3io
That was pretty cool!
-
Looking forward to tonight's premiere of TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT tonight.
Ditto!! :D
-
Aaaahhhhh!
I shared Hartley’s post on Facebook. Maybe my first post in 15-18 months. I had people ask me if I meant to do that.
I shared BK's post and added the poster image that has the details. :)
-
Thanks to all for sharing and helping. I did some more PMs because most of the first batch said they'll be watching. But it's a very lugubrious process because each time you click on a friend and then go back to the friends page you're at the top of the page - then you have to scroll down to where you were and with over 4,000 friends, well, lugubrious.
-
Five hours to show time, baby.
-
One thing I've noticed is that several folks I know have bailed from Facebook, and I don't mean taking a break, I mean bailed as in terminated their accounts. Who can blame them? I have a little idea and if anyone knows anyone with a ton of spare money, send 'em my way and maybe we can just shut down Facebook the way Facebook shut down MySpace.
-
Break a leg tonight, BK! Tomorrow's my MRI, and I will be going to bed about the time the show begins on the east coast. I have a crazy morning since the MRI prep is very much like a colonoscopy prep.
-
Three!
-
Vibes for Elmore!
-
I will not see the show until Sunday, when it begins at 8:00. I am looking forward to it.
-
{{{ DR Jane }}}, I am sorry about your insomnia.
Thank you. Fortunately I slept in until 7:30, then fell back to sleep for another 25 minutes.
-
Okay, stupid question. I thought it was obvious, but now that I actually want to do it, it's not obvious. How do you share a post on Facebook? I thought I've always seen that option under the three dots, and it's not there on any post I look at.
Sometimes you can't share a post.
-
Aaaahhhhh!
;D
-
PREP and MRI VIBES for DR Elmore!
I shared Hartley’s post on Facebook. Maybe my first post in 15-18 months. I had people ask me if I meant to do that.
;D
-
PREP and MRI VIBES for DR Elmore!
~~~DITTO!!~~~
-
I just got email and text messages telling me I can now register in the 65+ category for the vaccination. Yay!!!
Did so, and there are no appointments available.
-
Good luck finding an appointment.

~~~SUPER STRENGTH MEDICAL VIBES~~~ for DR elmore3003! What an ordeal.
-
Vibes for DR ELMORE.
Continued sleep vibes for DR JANE.
-
DR JEANNE posted something yesterday I was going to answer, but I forget what she said.
Should I blame myself or DR JEANNE?
-
Both times in the notes says PST.....but I am assuming that it 9 p.m. EST for me.
-
We got a strong burst of snow.....streets and sidewalks covered - and now nothing.....
And that's okay.
-
I liked MR BK's story about working with Jean Simmons.....
She did several tv mini series including Jacqueline Susann's Valley of the Dolls in which she played Helen Lawson.....the enterprise was about what you would expect - if your expectations were very low.
-
Well, we got the news today that they think they've figured out the bathroom leak situation (which has continued to flood through our ceiling, almost nightly). Last night, pieces of our shower ceiling began falling into our tub.
Unfortunately for the neighbor above us, it's going to mean ripping out their tub and entire show enclosure. But that's show business!
-
According to the weather forecast, it may snow here Sunday or Monday. I need to bring in some plants today and others tomorrow. Also need to get a couple of plants covered.
Jrand, yes 9:00 EST
I hope they will fix the issue before your ceiling falls down. MAJOR VIBES!
-
Got a followup email reminding us that scheduling will be open for 65+ starting tomorrow the 11th, as originally announced. That is (hopefully) the reason I can't see any open slots available today.
So guess who's going to be checking in starting at midnight. :)
-
Ninety minutes to show time. Getting excited.
-
Here's a link that actually takes you right to the page from which it will stream: https://youtu.be/i5J21ICpy24
-
For some reason, I read the times and prompting thought they were different. I was expected the show to start in three minutes. Oh, well. I can finish a book in the newfound hour till showtime.
-
DR JEANNE posted something yesterday I was going to answer, but I forget what she said.
Should I blame myself or DR JEANNE?
Jose
-
I will try to watch tonight
-
That was a fun scene Bruce!
-
Congratulations on qualifying Chas
-
30 minutes - your call is 30 minutes.
Thanks MR BK.
-
Thirty minutes to show time. Whee.
-
Eight people waiting.
-
Getting excited around these here parts.
-
Nine waiting.
-
Vibes it opens at midnight and you get an appointment!
-
DR JEANNE posted something yesterday I was going to answer, but I forget what she said.
Should I blame myself or DR JEANNE?
Jose
Absolutely :)
-
Nine waiting.
I'm one of them! ;D
-
Twenty minutes to show time.
-
If you're using the regular link to the channel do you still see it on the home page?
-
I don't, but I've had that issue before and others have seen it fine.
-
Three people keep coming in and going out? Why?
-
I don't, but I've had that issue before and others have seen it fine.
I don't either, but it'll probably show once it actually starts.
-
Seems weird. I do hope everyone doesn't wait until the last possible second to arrive.
-
Yeah, but how did you find it then?
-
That's what worries me.
-
But there are nine waiting so not everyone had the direct URL.
-
Yeah, but how did you find it then?
I got there by way of your direct link, but it doesn't show when I click on the haineshisway (https://www.youtube.com/c/haineshisway/) homepage. :-\
-
I'm on via the link you posted a while ago.
-
It's on the home page now - must go up ten minutes prior.
-
Ten minutes to show time. Hartley told me she's ready!
-
Ten minutes to show time. Hartley told me she's ready!
Cool!
-
Four minutes to show time - twenty-four waiting.
-
Twenty-eight.
-
28 waiting.
-
Going over now. See y'all on the other side!
-
Here we go!!
-
This music is totally BK!! Love it! Orchestrations really make the music soar!!!!
-
"When You're Waiting for Love"! ;D I love this song!
-
This is kinda my story right now. LOL
-
AARRGGHH!! The video ended before the end of the last note! :o
-
Otherwise, it was great!
-
That was fun! Very sweet
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Great production, Bruce. Very clever and VERY well done. I had no trouble with the direct link, even on old technology.
-
Jrand, I was asking if your Kierkegard quote had anything to do with space lasers. I should try to be more memorable, I know.
-
Time for dinner.
TTFN.
-
The zoom was fun!
-
That was fun! I enjoyed the Zoom after party...once I was able to get my video started.
-
Ginny I love your long hair!
-
Congratulations, BK and company, on a great show!
-
George, I think this was the first time I’ve heard your voice. I’ve met all the HHWers that we’re there on zoom tonight
-
It made me think that we should have an HHW Zoom party. I know it was suggested in the past, but somehow it never happened.
-
John G was that Bird barking?
-
And I'm off to read my book.
-
It made me think that we should have an HHW Zoom party. I know it was suggested in the past, but somehow it never happened.
I was thinking the same thing!
-
This has been such a fun evening! The show was great and the Zoom party was a real treat!
-
The forecast has been changed somewhat. We're now expecting snow only on Monday. But it's going to be cold here the next five days or so. Not cold like Jennifer faces, but cold enough.
-
And I’m feeling tired ...I had an interrupted sleep last night with this stupid tooth
-
So good night
-
Color me impressed! So enjoyed it. Everything, from concept to execution, was really top notch!
Congratulations to all involved.
-
Congratulations again, BK, I really enjoyed the show
-
It made me think that we should have an HHW Zoom party. I know it was suggested in the past, but somehow it never happened.
I was thinking the same thing!
Yes!!!
-
Vixmom, you and I will have to plan it.
-
Six!
-
It made me think that we should have an HHW Zoom party. I know it was suggested in the past, but somehow it never happened.
We should!!
-
Just not tonight.
-
I'm off to bed. Good night, all.
-
Nice to see so many HHWers at the after party.
-
It's way past my bedtime, however.
Good night, everyone.
-
Ginny I love your long hair!
Thanks, DR Vixmom. Until this past year, Richard had never seen me with long hair.
-
One thing I noticed but forgot to mention it during the Zoom meeting was Eric's (real) wedding ring. He was wearing it, but his character has never been married. ::)
;)
-
It's past my bedtime, too. Thanks for a great evening, BK!
'night.
-
Eric's character has, in fact, been married twice :) Old habits die hard
-
Thanks to all who watched. We ended up with eighty people, which was great and surprising since I couldn't really post about it and tag as I would have.
-
And yes, let's plan an HHW Zoom thing. I can set it up if everyone figures out a good time to do it.
-
Eric's character has, in fact, been married twice :) Old habits die hard
Oh, that's right.
-
I saw the counter reach 84 viewers at one point.
FABULOUS EVENING!
-
Well, I won't be able to watch the rebroadcast on Friday, but I'll definitely be able to on Sunday. :)
-
Please post about it on Facebook - very helpful.
-
The guy who lives in the back house watched and loved it and just brought me a box of chocolate Entenmann's donuts. I guess I know what I'll be having for a snack :)
-
So many positive comments on Tonight's the Night!
Bruce, when do you think Project Two will be available?
-
The guy who lives in the back house watched and loved it and just brought me a box of chocolate Entenmann's donuts. I guess I know what I'll be having for a snack :)
You can eat Entenmann's like Hartley's character eats Snickers. (no, don't)
-
I sneaked a li'l snack of some miniature Mounds and Almond Joys during the show.
-
And now, I finally need to leave work and head home. I've been here for far too long.
Be back later.
-
I sneaked a li'l snack of some miniature Mounds and Almond Joys during the show.
Just like at the movies.
-
Again, Great Show, BK and Hartley and Eric and everyone else involved!!
-
I saw an ad tonight for an actual movie. It said "in theaters." Really? Did theaters reopen? I don't think they've reopened here.
-
Yes, lots of congrats to all involved in Tonight's the Night. I was thinking that BK's imitators will be scratching their heads, trying to match it.
-
Bruce, I believe someone asked some weeks ago if Tonight's the Night will be available on DVD. If I remember correctly, you could but don't want to. You want it to be streaming only. Is that right?
-
As it happens, BK dropped a nice piece of upcoming release news on us at the after-par-tay.
-
Once again, well done, Bruce.
-
Good night.
-
As it happens, BK dropped a nice piece of upcoming release news on us at the after-par-tay.
Oh? What was that?
-
Chas, you are a tease!
Good night again.
-
Yes, we'll put it on Blu-ray with the entire Outside the Box series. That will be a nice disc.
-
Had McDonald's for lunch, and rather than eat the donuts, I'm having a couple of pizza slices delivered. They're on their way.
-
Jeanne, project two is casting this weekend and next week, then it'll probably be three or four weeks later.
-
And I’m feeling tired ...I had an interrupted sleep last night with this stupid tooth
Is it improving at all?
-
Ginny I love your long hair!
Thanks, DR Vixmom. Until this past year, Richard had never seen me with long hair.
I sure would like to see a photo.
-
Thanks to all who watched. We ended up with eighty people, which was great and surprising since I couldn't really post about it and tag as I would have.
Congratulations.
Nice :)
-
DR TCB did you find someone to shovel your sidewalk? Do you also have a walkway that needs shoveling?
-
Yes, we'll put it on Blu-ray with the entire Outside the Box series. That will be a nice disc.
I've been hoping for the Outside the Box series to be released! Can't wait for that!! :D
-
Now, the next thing to hope for is a BK songbook. ::)
;)
-
Now the weather people are saying up to 19 inches of snow in Olympia by Saturday!
-
Now the weather people are saying up to 19 inches of snow in Olympia by Saturday!
Oh, no! I'd just read, "Total snow accumulations of 6 to 13 inches possible."
-
But 19 inches?? :o
-
Tacoma is only expecting 15 inches.
-
Tacoma is only expecting 15 inches.
Well, I guess Tacoma's got a better agent.
-
;D
-
Tacoma is only expecting 15 inches.
Well, I guess Tacoma's got a better agent.
Or worse. Depending how you feel about snow.
-
True.
-
Gratuitous post #200!!
-
Tom, do you think we can make it to Page 8?
-
It's only 8 more posts after this one.
-
If we PUSH, we can get there before BK closes the day.
-
I'm watching Stephen Colbert and his opening monologue was really good.
-
Tomorrow, I need to get to work early because my new supervisor wants to have a Zoom meeting.
-
He's still in California, but should actually be in Washington on Monday.
-
The meeting in the morning is earlier than when I usually get to work.
-
Where in tarnation is page eight?
-
Surely there must be a page eight?
-
Just around the riverbend.
-
The meeting in the morning is earlier than when I usually get to work.
I hate that. ::)
-
Somewhere over the rainbow, and here we are. Changing the topic now.
-
But since it's my first time meeting him at all, I figured that I should actually be there. ;)
