Well, you've read the notes, the notes said tonight's the night for tonight's the night, and now it is time for you to post until the second performance cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PERLAGE!
-
Well, snow is still covering everything, but it doesn't look like it's been snowing for a while. Hopefully, my car won't be so frozen that I can't get into it in the morning...unless my building is closed and I don't need to go in to work. I'll find out in the morning.
-
And now, I'm off to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
BK, you were thinking of doing another Zoom podcast after the second show, but you have decided to do it on Friday instead. Say what?
-
I am kind of glad I don't live in Puyallup. I could never pronounce it!
-
And good morning, everyone.
-
I think bk meant 9:00PM EST (in today's notes).
-

I don't know WHAT you're talking about :)

I am salivating over all the potentials for this Blu Ray release! I have no sense of how much it costs to do this, but it must be a bundle. Fortunately, you've got most of the raw material handy.
-
I think it's a great idea to have Nudie available for streaming on Amazon.
-
Has anyone ever had a seemly discussion on this here board? :)

I'm out of Facebook jail!
-
Huzzah!
-
A storm is coming.
A posting storm.
-
Loved the photos, DR George.
-
Good morning, all!
-
BK, I am very happy for your good review, I did not read it, but I will after I've watched Tonight's the Night, formerly known as Project One.
-
I have seen two Tobias Picker's operas, and, like the composer of that lousy opera of Little Women, whose name I have mercifully forgotten, that's too much for anyone to endure. I did like Jake Hegge's Dead Man Walking, but he could use some orchestration advice.
-
And congratulations on your release. Facebook's 30-say ban does nothing but really piss one off. I used to send every day of my jail time messages via their suggestions page things like "thank you and fuck you for wasting my time, bastards."
-
I have a grocery delivery coming today before noon, and I plan to spend the day working on tax receipts. This weekend I must pay the rest of the month's bills with my Social Security payment.
-
So, my appointment yesterday was at 2:00 at Mt Sinai Hospital, Fifth Avenue and 99th Street. I thought I gave myself plenty of time by leaving at 12:35. With medical appointments I like to get there, fill out any forms, relax, and read a bit.
-
I had no problem getting a taxi, but I forgot to take some Advil before I left. I need it for my leg pains. We gpot tp the East Side (95th & Fifth) by 12:55, and hell broke out. Fifth Avenue runs downtown so you need to go one block east to Madison Avenue, travel uptown to the next cross street after 99th, turn downtown on Fifth. Well, Mt Sinai runs between 98th Street and 100th Streets with no available tunr onto Fifth at 99th, so we had to go to 101st Street, only traffic on Madison Avenue was so heavy, it took 15 minutes to move six blocks and another ten minuers to move one block on 101st Street. My taxi ride took nearly 40 minutes and cost $25.00.
-
The taxi driver by the way was really helpful with my walker and making sure I was safe getting into and out of the taxi. Once I got to Radiology, I had five pages to fill out. In this age of computers, why the fat hell isn't all or most of this information readily available through your health provider. Then I waited. I don't think I was taken back to change before 2:45. I hadn't eaten a thing since 8:00AM, and I was starving.
-
I was finally out, dressed, and waiting on Fifth Avenue for a taxing by 3:45. And I waited, and I waited. Finally one picked me up. It was one I would ordinarily pass on because the elevation between street and taxi is very high, and I had to crawl into the cab on my hands and knees, then try to pull myself up into the seat. The taxi driver was maybe the first really unpleasant sonofabitch I've encountered since March 2020, so the ride back was not a pleasant experience. The ride with tip cost me a little more than $20.00.
-
I took some Advil, posted on HHW, called Joshie because he made me promise to let him know when I got home, and ordered a sandwich from the corner bodega. As soon as 9:00 landed, I turned out the lights.

What an ordeal, DR elmore3003. Glad it's over. And ~~~VIBES~~~ for good test results.
-
Let's move on...
-
To TWO!
-
Good morning, all.
-
What an ordeal, DR elmore3003. Glad it's over. And ~~~VIBES~~~ for good test results.
Yes indeed! What a story. Sorry it was such a schlep.
-
I don't know what my dream was, just another in a series of silly scenarios that make zero sense. I woke an hour before I would have liked, and just laid there knowing it wouldn't even be worth going back to sleep.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Trying to get to work a little early today because of leaving for the vaccine shot.
-
It’s 30 degrees out there. High of 37 today. Monday’s low is supposed to be 7.
-
Looking forward to a veritable cornucopia of whirlwind ketchup posting on Facebook today.
-
They keep revising Monday’s forecast. I just wish it would hurry up and get it over with.
-
According to AccuWeather, it's 7 degrees out there. According to Weather Channel, it's 13 degrees.
How to choose??
-
Do not stick a digit in the air to determine for yourself.
-
I had a dream that my back seat occupant was attempting to keep me from fastening my seat belt, and I was slapping back at them.
-
The only dream I remember from last night was stacks and stacks of rolls of calculator tape.
-
Friday!
Congrats to DR ELMORE for surviving yesterday!
Vibes for DR JOHN G and the rolling stones.
-
Here it is 20 degrees weather wise. The snow is gone from the streets but not the sidewalks or driveways.....
-
I liked DR singdaw's new Greek philosopher.
-
Happy Chinese New Year......the year of the metal ox.

One of the advantages of living in an apartment building is radiant heat. Here it is, below zero outside, but I am sitting here in shorts and a t-shirt, not having the heat on. In fact, we never turn the heat on all winter, because the heat from neighboring units is enough to keep the place comfortable.
-
Good morning to all. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
-
I liked DR singdaw's new Greek philosopher.
I did, too!

I have the very same situation. My neurotic neighbor Judy comes over and complains about the cold, and I'm here in T-shirt and shorts wishing my apartment were cooler.
-
Friday morning greetings! We're picking up groceries this afternoon - that's what we do for excitement these days.
-
DR ChasSmith: Where's Moses when you need him?

I am kind of glad I don't live in Puyallup. I could never pronounce it!

I'm out of Facebook jail!
That was fast.

Sorry you had such an ordeal yesterday, DR elmore!

How to pronounce Puyallup. (https://www.seattlemet.com/news-and-city-life/2015/08/how-to-pronounce-puyallup)
-
Thanks, DR Jane! :D
-
Pretty much.
-
THREE, by the way.
-
Jesus, do I detest Trump's attorneys.
-
DR ChasSmith: Where's Moses when you need him?
That's excellent. We Need a Little Moses, for sure.
-
I am kind of glad I don't live in Puyallup. I could never pronounce it!
;D
I've always been glad I don't live in Athol.
-
Thanks, DR Jane! :D
I should practice it since I live in the same state & I forget how to say it.
-

I've always been glad I don't live in Athol.

George was work closed? I just read schools here are closed and we don't have much snow.
It is icy out though. Alas, I don't dare walk in case I fall. I really don't want another surgery. I was jealous watching my neighbors head out on their walk.
-
I've always been glad I don't live in Athol.
Isn't that what Melania's sweat suit said? I don't care Athol, do you?
-
Good Morning. 4-day weekend for me this weekend (except church duties - which I may quietly leave to others) Stayed in bed with the boys until 10:00am. Doing some work on the computer and will head out for some errands a bit later. The goal is to do little to no work this weekend. I don't really see that happening.
-
Thanks for the reminder that it is President's Day. The post office will also be closed.
-
Yes no mail on Monday and no banking.
No bills today - so no check writing!
-
Good afternoon.
-
The ABC Network has suspended its network coverage (but not it's online coverage) - so I will be able to see Judge Judy today.
I didn't watch much of the antics today - although I was amused to hear one of the attorneys proclaim that the former president did not "incite a resurrection."
-
My county now is under a Winter Storm Warning......
-
Which of course reminds me of one of my favorite (though unfortunate) typographical errors in a local newspaper:
Local farmer John Smith did eat his home on Saturday.
-
Oh....it is from Late Sunday Night until Tuesday morning - when I have my dentist appointment.

Trump's attorneys seemed to have the concept that, if they couldn't lie as well as the Fat Orange Slug, they would bore everyone to death.
-
Good afternoon.
Missed you. You OK?

I’m crying. Not entirely in a good way.

Good afternoon.

-
So glad to see DR Laura posting!
-
I just spent the last hour speed walking inside. I wish I had a treadmill so I could read while I walk.
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven and a half hours of sleep and up at eleven, but inundated with one thing after another.
-
Entered fixes from proofer two but have to check with Muse Margaret about a few things.
-
Picked up some packages, ordered pastrami sandwich from Togo's.
-
Went on some errands, stopped by the church to pick up a few things I needed at home, so I decided to sit down at the organ for a bit and play a few things. I decided to actually "learn" something new and as I was hashing things out, some lady is downstairs (the organ is in the balcony) talking at full voice on the phone in the sanctuary. I'm like "I'm totally out of here" and as I left in a personal huff, I got home and realized I forgot to pick up when I went there for. I guess it will have to wait until tomorrow.
-
Pastrami was good and now it's two hours to show time. I'm listening to a short Respighi opera - he's really good - this one's Sleeping Beauty.
-
George, KOMO News was just outside your office door, showing what the snow was like in Tumwater!

BK, did you, by chance, notify Seth Rudetsky, about the broadcast. He has his Monday thru Friday afternoon show, plus The DUELING DIVAS broadcast on Saturday mornings with Christine Pedi.
-
I watched the news story on Facebook & saw the library.

-
With the roads open I guess DR George went to work today.
-
Up from a long nap. Probably won’t sleep tonight because of it. But, boy, it felt good.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Seth knows all about our shows.
-
One hour and twenty minutes to the show! TCB, did you see it on Wednesday or are you seeing it tonight or waiting until Sunday?
-
Have run the fix questions by Muse Margaret - we did two out of the nine.
-
The nine that I had questions about, that is.
-
That is, the nine that I had questions about.
-
Nine questions.
-
After last week's hives I thought I'd better have an acupuncture treatment. That was today, followed by a stop at Trader Joe's, then another stop for falafel take-out. It was a bit windy and quite beautiful.
-
No Zoom thing after tonight's show.
-
Stones-begone vibes to John G.
-
Sorry about your ordeal, Elmore. There's been talk lately about how Covid has "uncovered" some problems with the health care system, but transportation for anyone who's not completely able-bodied has been a problem for a long time. There are a limited number of vans for wheelchair patients, but that doesn't solve the problem for many of us. I feel we need to rethink safe transport. It isn't rocket science!
-
Anyone have Elon Musk's phone number handy?
-

I hope it helped.

In fact, we never turn the heat on all winter, because the heat from neighboring units is enough to keep the place comfortable.
There is no radiant heat of any sort in my apartment. No insulation, lots of draughts. But it's affordable. Yesterday I was viewing one-bedroom apartments in Santa Monica online. Starting at $3000/mo. I find that a bit steep. My house payments used to be half that or less.
-
It's no wonder we have a huge homeless population.
-
Nine questions.
There should be a musical about that.

Thanks, Jane. I always have pain relief from it. Other issues are more difficult to assess.
-
No Zoom. Okay, I'm hanging the tux back up till Sunday.
-
Good weekend vibes to all.
TTFN.
-
Forty-five minutes to Tonight's the Night!
-
It’s 30 degrees out there. High of 37 today. Monday’s low is supposed to be 7.
That actually sounds so nice. Right now it's 4F with a windchill making it even colder. And it's been colder than that all day. :(
-
I just spent the last hour speed walking inside. I wish I had a treadmill so I could read while I walk.
Do you have a tv with youtube on it near where you can walk? I really love Leslie Sansone's Walk At Home videos.
-
I am not on a treadmill so can't watch tv while I walk. I would read if I could.
-
OK, I just watched a trailer for Leslie Sansone's Walk At Home videos. I don't call that walking-lol. I can do aerobics on my own except they hurt my knee.
-
Anyone have Elon Musk's phone number handy?
or any of his bank account numbers?
-
Five!
-
Twenty minutes to Tonight's the Night.
-
I have both Safari and Chrome open, just in case Safari hiccups as it did on premiere night.
-
Why?

-
With the recent weather being rather decent, with a mix of extra nice day, I have been averaging 20,000 steps a day. It has given me the incentive to keep walking today, except my feet really hurt. I have to be careful as I have had episodes where I had to crawl on the ground because I couldn't stand.
-
Well, snow is still covering everything, but it doesn't look like it's been snowing for a while. Hopefully, my car won't be so frozen that I can't get into it in the morning...unless my building is closed and I don't need to go in to work. I'll find out in the morning.
I didn't have to go to work today! Four day weekend! ;D
-
So, I'm able to watch the second broadcast of Tonight's the Night. :)
-
Sneezing fit!
Eight, so far.
Good thing I'm not the one going on stage in a few minutes.

Nice.
And my car wasn't frozen. I actually went out for a bit.
-
For my after dinner walk I just paced around our bedroom staying on the carpet.
-
I have now walked over 5 miles without going anywhere. Talk about boring ;D

Does your car normally freeze at these temps?

I've just been informed that the audio edition of my one-person play, CHRISTOPHER LEE, is now available for download via audible.com, Amazon and iTunes.
As Christopher Lee's former publicist, I can assure you that Jamie Harris, who plays the classic horror star (i.e. Count Dracula) in the audio, makes me believe that I am listening to my late client.
Please take a listen.
BTW: The play is also available in paperback and Kindle editions. Performance rights are available.

Funny.

And I've just been informed that you, Druxy, haven't bothered to watch Tonight's the Night. Seems a little disingenuous to only come on here to plug your stuff, doesn't it? And I don't think you'll have the chutzpah to say you didn't know about it, oh, no, I don't think you'll have that chutzpah, friend. :)
-
Lovely to have second viewings for you some of you - we had about fifty-five tonight. Hartley and I were joking that everyone's probably waiting until Sunday and then they'll say they forgot. I have "friends" who have never once come to or watched a Kritzerland show. I find it shameful. And I do take some pleasure in explaining to them when they invite me to their stuff why that won't ever be happening.
-
I has spoken.
-
Just finished John D. MacDonald’s Death Trap. I wasn’t always a fan, but every novel of his I pick up now is like a wonderful discovery. They’re taut and tense, violent and sexist, a work of their time, and thoroughly enjoyable.
-
I think before the weekend is over, I may be putting on clothes before going to bed. The low in the forecast has gone down to 5. I also have to wrap up two trees tomorrow. I’m terrible at that.
-
I watched the opening number again and chuckled at Singdaw's comment about Eric's hair being the fourth character. He does have a lot of it!
-
Your winter temps don't usually fall this low, do they, John G?
-
I'd be bundled up.
-
I watched the first episode of SEASIDE HOTEL on PBS. It's a Danish series set in 1929. I do like the soundtrack. I may warm up to the rest.
-
Good night.
-
Went to Gelson's and tried their spicy salmon - a minute-thirty in the micro - it was pretty good and there's not much that's less fattening than salmon. So, I'll have that again. Not too spicy, either. Listening to Lukas Fess's Griffelkin, written for NBC opera theater in 1955. I wonder if any of those broadcasts survive, given the fact that Amahl did.
-
I planned to watch Tonights the Night again but something came up,
-
I’ll try on Sunday
-
I'm out of Facebook jail!
Hoo and Ray!

Thanks, Sing!

Yes. I've been home almost all day. I did go out for a bit, but just to drive through Taco Bell. ;) The driving was not bad at all.
-
It is still snowing here.
-
I am not sure if our driveway was ok to drive. Fortunately we plan to stay home until the snow stops and everything is plowed and shoveled.
-
I’ll try on Sunday
Hope you can. We may do a Q&A after.
-
George, KOMO News was just outside your office door, showing what the snow was like in Tumwater!
Cool! Too bad I missed it. I'll record KOMO's 11:00 pm broadcast, just in cast they show it again. :)

Thanks for the link, but that's the Washington State Library, not the Timberland Regional Library where I work. But actually, that is just about a block from where I live! It was hard to tell where he was because his video image was reversed.
-
With the roads open I guess DR George went to work today.
Nope. Pretty much all of the library branches were closed. No work again until Tuesday, and by then, most, if not all, of the snow should be gone.

~~~Feet-Don't-Hurt Vibes for Jane~!~~~
I think it was earlier, but I can't tell now. It's too dark.
Jane and Tom, this video was taken by the KOMO guy a little later, and he says that he's at the corner of Capitol Blvd., and Israel Road, which is where I live!
Well, snow is still covering everything, but it doesn't look like it's been snowing for a while. Hopefully, my car won't be so frozen that I can't get into it in the morning...unless my building is closed and I don't need to go in to work. I'll find out in the morning.
I didn't have to go to work today! Four day weekend! ;D
Nice.
And my car wasn't frozen. I actually went out for a bit.
Does your car normally freeze at these temps?
My door lock can, but I've never had any trouble starting the engine.
That is better. Don't they make gadgets for quickly thawing a door lock?
There are gadgets, but my remote actually works to unlock my car when the physical key lock is frozen.
No real worries then :)
It won't open on my tablet. I am looking forward to watching tomorrow.
Nope, not at all...unless I forget to bring my remote with me. ::)
I am kind of glad I don't live in Puyallup. I could never pronounce it!
I had a dream that my back seat occupant was attempting to keep me from fastening my seat belt, and I was slapping back at them.
Honey, Freud would have a field day with you!
One hour and twenty minutes to the show! TCB, did you see it on Wednesday or are you seeing it tonight or waiting until Sunday?
I kick myself, that I slept through the first performance. I watched it tonight.
Hi, Tom.
I absolutely loved it. Charming! Romantic! A sheer delight.
That would be cool...but they'll probably get a "movie" name.
Oh, BTW, I watched it tonight on my big screen TV.
One of the advantages of living in an apartment building is radiant heat. Here it is, below zero outside, but I am sitting here in shorts and a t-shirt, not having the heat on. In fact, we never turn the heat on all winter, because the heat from neighboring units is enough to keep the place comfortable.
There is no radiant heat of any sort in my apartment. No insulation, lots of draughts. But it's affordable. Yesterday I was viewing one-bedroom apartments in Santa Monica online. Starting at $3000/mo. I find that a bit steep. My house payments used to be half that or less.
$3000 is a bit steep?? :o Yikes! My mortgage payment is a third of that!
Your mortgage is only $1,000.00?
I watched the news story on Facebook & saw the library.
Thanks for the link, but that's the Washington State Library, not the Timberland Regional Library where I work. But actually, that is just about a block from where I live! It was hard to tell where he was because his video image was reversed.
You are correct. My apology.
I actually did, too! I watched on my computer in my bedroom, and that's hooked up to my 55" TV. :D
Well, actually it's $1,034.75, and I pay an extra $65.25 for a total of $1,100 per month. If I figured correctly, I think it should be paid off by December of THIS YEAR!! ;D
No prob. It's all in the same area. My work is less than a mile from that intersection.
No. Those are separate.
