Vibes and hugs for DR Elmore! Hope your procedure goes smoothly and you get good results :-*
Today is Stephen Sondheim's 91st birthday. I wish him well.
I'm so happy that we finally have Spring temperatures. I was able to go on my bike!
Topic of the Day: the first two movies that I thought of were Rififi and Topkapi, both directed by Jules Dassin.
Every 12-year-old should be able to spell liaison and use it properly in a sentence.
One last thing: in my last stretch at the Drama Book Shop between 1986 and 1997, Hal Leonard reprinted at the request of the shows' agents the vocal scores to Li'l Abner, The Apple Tree, and Little Mary Sunshine. I ordered my usual 10 copies of each that sold out immediatelky and they scores went back out of print. Had I known, I would have ordered 100 copies of each!

And rhyme it with "raisin." 8)
Good to hear about Project Two.

[/quothappy birthday to Mr Sondheim
Monday morning greetings! Yes, I’ve been E & T for a while because my sister, niece, and I took part in a huge virtual card making event. I was in my craft corner and on my computer most of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We had fun and learned a lot and I tried to spend my spare moments with Richard.

Happy birthday, sir! Thank you for expanding my vocabulary. Every 12-year-old should be able to spell liaison and use it properly in a sentence.
I am so excited for DR JANE's trip!
It sounds like DR GINNY had a lot of fun yesterday.
Getting to do something you love to do with similarly minded friends is always fun.....even if it is on ZOOM.
It is actually a little hard to believe that it's his birthday. Weren't we just watching the big 90th birthday celebration?
ummmm...where did a year just go?
Bk
Come on, Dove. PICK ONE!

They opened up a new place for vaccines that is even closer than the other place. And they had tons of appointments. But they are still only at 65+.
I called out of work today...last night started feeling "off"
This morning I was feeling shaky, exhausted and a slight heaviness in my lungs...hopefully this is just a delayed to the vaccination.
My boss said he felt similarly after his and recommended a day of rest and hopefully I'll be back to myself tomorrow.

It was fun, DR JRand! In a way, I prefer these virtual events over in-person because we all get to be in our own crafty spaces with all of our supplies and tools at hand. Better than schlepping a bunch of stuff somewhere and finding you left that one thing you really need at home.
I tried to post a photo but it's too big. You can see it on my Facebook.
For two days in a row I have received a phone call from "The Legal Department....." and "within seconds of receiving this call"....I am supposed to do something "or else".....I never wait for the end of the call before I hang up and block the number....
So if I disappear in the next few days - just know that those calls were real.
I'm so happy for you all DR JANE.
I can't imagine.....I have yet to see my two new nephews.....one born in December and one in February...... Lots of pictures though.

The photos you put up on FB are beautiful.

Thank you. Three weeks from today and we will be holding her.

Ten days for us! Although I wonder how much either of our granddaughters will put up with being held...

Stunning! Peter Attenborough is jealous.

Great choices
I should like to lodge a complaint.
Shortly after waking up this morning, I was still lying in bed when I suddenly sneezed. The sneeze seemed innocent enough, just a brief early morning allergy type of thing. But a minute later I sneezed again. Then another moment went by and I sneezed a dozen times.
Stumbling around getting coffee and whatnot, another dozen sneezes. And then another dozen. I continued blowing out all the excess STUFF in my nose and finally got it under control, and began to feel "dry" again. But that was an hour ago and let's face it, you're never dry until you're really and truly dry. If you catch my drift. I'm still sneezing occasionally, and my sinuses feel like the whole thing could go up in flames at any moment.
So it's a crappy allergy day, right out of the blue. Yesterday was beautiful. We had windows open airing out the jernt all afternoon, with not so much as a sniffle. Last night we turned the heat back on and everything's back to normal inside the house except for my horrible NOSE.
Ifa tree falls in a forestone sneezes at HHW, but no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Seriously, though, ~~~ALLERGY VIBES~~ to DR ChasSmith and all that suffer.

Twice impeached president, riot-inciter, and big fat liar about the election has announced he will be starting his own social media platform in a couple of months......
One of his followers who uses Facebook announced that once he does that, she will be leaving "this hell whole."

Double Ditto!! ;D
To anyone who has never had a prostate biopsy, I hope to hell you never do!
I was told it was similar to a colonoscopy, so I figured at most I would be out of there in four hours after the procedure. Well, it ain't.
He's home!

DR JEANNE my SS drops on the 3rd of the month, so I don't think the stimulus is tied to your SS payment.......

Yes.
Unfortunately Bruna's is not walking distance from where we are staying.

It was in a nice, old neighborhood. Two Uber drivers recommended it to me as did the Uber drive who drove me there.
John G and others may be interested to know that THE BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES S7 starts next week. I was just wondering about it yesterday. It's on Acorn TV and possibly Amazon Prime video.
So, as always on the B'way Facebook groups, some ninny started a thread about how "dated" The King and I is and how offensive it is, and that Yul Brynner should be cancelled for doing it and the stupidity on view is breathtaking. Many of us tried logically to explain the obvious but that just makes these PC woke morons double down and they ALL revert to calling you a racist. That's always the default when you argue with these cretins. But I take them on because someone needs to (others take them on to) and then when I feel I've made them look inane enough and there's no more to say, I block their sorry ASSES. I just got a lovely PM from Charles Busch who told me thanks for taking them on and doing it so well and that he adores me. I adore him, too, of course, and have ever since a memorable dinner in the late 1990s attended by Julie Wilson, Charles, Jason Graae, Judy Blazer, and a few others. That was a night to remember.
Not a single contribution today. Not good.
Iowa lost and so my watching schedule for the next 10 days just opened up!
No need to follow the NCAA again this year.
