First, I'm going back to my mom's to adjust the wheel height of her lawn mower (it's too high), then I'll probably have to mow at least part of the lawn (there are three separate sections), and then cut down some branches, then finish all that in time to get cleaned up in time to go downtown and usher for another local dance company's filmed end of year performance.

We didn't always have outdoor options in Chicago, especially at the airport. We would not have felt comfortable doing any of this without having been vaccinated.

When I did my A1C I didn't fast not realizing my glucose was included in the test. Since I too had just eaten it was also rather high. At first I was shocked reading the number then went, duh of course ;D

I have to do some regular online Zoom work. I finally bought a small retractable green screen that fits on the back of your office chair to block out the background of your room. It came in a canvas bag, and when you pull it out, it springs to full size. It looks and works great. But when I went to store, I realized I had no way of knowing how it goes back to the small size, and no directions were enclosed.

After some investigation online, I was able to figure out how the bendy metal frame "folds" back into the small storage size. Fun!

Post by: bk on May 15, 2021, 09:44:23 PM: Went to Ralph's for a little evening food - got seven ounces of pacific sole, more Sparkling Ice, some Lipton's onion soup dip mix and sour cream along with some veggies for it - that will be tomorrow - it's a perfect Keto snack, you just can't do a huge amount of it, have to parse it out ver several days. Came home and sautéed the sole in butter - only took five minutes - very thin pieces - and it was very good.

Well, I mowed two of the three sections of my mom's lawn, and there were a lot more branches and small trees that I needed to cut down than I thought, but I got it done.
