Well, you've read the notes, the notes made my day, and now it is time for you to post until the go ahead, make my day cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: SKYLARK!
-
Happy Birthday to occasional DR ArnoldMBrockman!
-
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Not as much sleep as I would have hoped for.
-
But a holiday weekend dawns!
-
Speaking of holiday weekends, I just learned that I've been invited to a picnic and am really bummed that I'm going to miss the live Kritzerland broadcast/cast party on Sunday evening.
-
Good morning, all!
-
Last night lasted forever. I would swear that there were eight hours between 9:00 and 10:30, when I first woke and another eight between then and 1:00 when next I awoke. Annabelle and Thatch stayed with me most of the night. Annabelle's departure at 4:30 woke me, and then I had to deal with Stella being a pest from arpounmd 5:00 to 5:30 when I decided that was enough.
-
DRs singdaw and ChasSmith, I suggest you send them an email and ask them how to register as a customer: premopera@gmail.com
-
This morning I will talk to my friend Michael Gildin about helping me with some projects, and I may get my butt in gear and walk to the corner postbox, if my legs are up to it.
-
Tell Michael hello for me!
-
Email sent. Thank you, DR elmore3003.
-
An oldie but goodie.
-
Good morning, all.
-
An oldie but goodie.
Nice.
-
This season the symphony has had a series of guest conductors. Tonight, our conductor emeritus, Sebastian Lang-Lessing, will lead Mozart’s 40th. Should be fun.
-
Good morning
-
I fell asleep early yesterday evening and slept right through
-
Hope everyone has a lovely day
-
I must get ready for work
-
Laters
-
Good morning, all.
-
DR singdaw, please share when you get a response. If you don't hear from them soon, I'll follow up with an email of my own.
I'm on the computer now instead of a tablet, and I had another look at their home page. It is absolutely geared only for returning customers. There's the usual "forgot password" thing, but nothing about registering or setting up a new account.

I have absolutely no memory of Dead Pool, so it must be worse than I could have imagined. I do look forward to taking my own little trip through the series soon. The box is sitting on the little table in my viewing area as a reminder. Once I actually take a movie off the shelf and put it there, it eventually gets watched.
-
Happy Birthday, Arnold Brockman!
-
DR Laura, I will tell Michael hello when I see him. Beginning on June 7, he will be my 2-days-a-week sherpam and I am very grateful for his help.
-
I just published my one-woman play: "GALE SONDERGAARD: Mistress of the Dark".
Currently, it's available in a Kindle edition, and the paperback should be available within a day or two.
I had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Sondergaard back in the day. Interviewed her for CORONET Magazine.

Friday!
-
AND Page Two!
-
Feel better vibes for DR ELMORE and DR TCB.
-
The notes keep reminding me that we always went to the NEW Clint Eastwood movie.....especially the Dirty Harry movies. We always saw them at the drive-in....usually a double feature.
The most unusual one was THE ENFORCER & PLAY MISTY FOR ME.
I really liked Magnum Force.....but mostly because I really like Mr. David Soul
-
Good morning!
-
Birdy Barnum is enjoying the music from Joseph/Dreamcoat as I play it.....he really likes Jacob & Sons and Stone the Crows.
-
I'm sort of getting excited about the show - three folks I am interested in from HUNCHBACK have told me that they are auditioning....and only one person has spoken up who can really go pound sand.
But I do need 15 men!
-
And some of them for the show!
-
Da dum dum! I'm here all week, folks!
-
We’re getting some morning rain. Of course, it’s happening after I watered.
-
Friday morning greetings! Today I'm having lunch with my friend Sue at a place we picked because of their outdoor dining area. Rain is predicted, of course...
-
Our rain isn't supposed to get here till 4pm or 5pm, and I've been counting on that so as to get some grass cutting in before then. But it's really overcast and I'd probably best get my ASS moving on it a lot sooner.
-
From DR George
A bit of a spoiler here (but not really): at the beginning of this new movie, it's a flashback to when the aliens arrived on Earth, but it's different than what was shown in the first movie.
I wonder if I will remember or notice the difference. I will warn Keith in case he remembers.
-
And some of them for the show!
It ain’t raining men here, JRand.
-
DR George I enjoyed your comments regarding both movies. We liked the first one and hope we agree with you regarding the sequel.
-
DR TCB I am glad your appointment with the pain clinic went well. May the next one be even better.
-
DR ArnoldMBrockman,

DRs ChasSmith and singdaw, I just got this email from Brad at Premiere Opera:
Hey Larry, We've been limiting new customers as we attempt to get more caught up with orders. Have them email me and mention your name and I'll get them set up with accounts.
-
DR JOHN G - you don't know the meaning of the word drought.
-
I have three days off....that's right - no rehearsal until Monday. It is very nice.
-
My play, ORSON WELLES, just ended its run in Scottsdale, AZ.
The actor playing the role looks good.

So, those trying to get in to Premiere Opera, do you have an email from them?

Maybe I got in because I am not a new customer.
-
I got an email response from Brad at Premiere Opera, and he requested the information needed to set me up with an account.
Thanks, all!
-
Birdy Barnum is now expressing a positive opinion about the dance break in One More Angel.....
-
I'm up, I'm up - six hours of sleep, maybe a bit more.
-
I'll head over to storage in about thirty minutes.
-
Is it a holiday weekend? Feels like too much work today.
-
DR Elmore, thank you so much for the Premiere Opera information. I'm glad to hear DR singdaw got such an immediate response.
The local friend here just left on an extended holiday weekend, so I'll make sure he shoots an email to them next week.
-
Just mowed around the house. There's another area to do, and that's going to have to wait. I'm taking a lunch break and will go back out to use the weed whacker and then hopefully the leaf blower before the rain gets here. That much will hold us through the weekend.

Yes, try to remember (a Fantastick reference ;) ) the scene with John Krasinski (this is the correct spelling of his name) and his son in the store when his son wanted the toy...I think that that was what was changed.

I should've re-watched the first movie before I saw it, but there were too many holds for me to have gotten it in time. I'm only number three now, so I'll still get it, but I really need to pay attention to see if I remember the differences of the revisionist history scenes.

Congrats, Druxy. That's pretty cool.
-
Been to storage and am back. Found what I needed in the main room, just behind some other stuff, so that was a breeze. Left the Indiegogo stuff.
-
Came right home, looked at the remaining Factor meals and promptly ordered the tri-salad from Art's Delicatessen with an eight-dollar off coupon.
-
Look at what's arrived in Tumwater!
-
And it included...
-
Thanks, BK! :D
-
Glad the books are starting to arrive.
-
Dearest Druxy - you haven't been around here for a couple of weeks now, maybe more. And yet you felt it necessary to come back and announce your new play TWICE? This is a discussion board for discussion. We all like to know about your latest, but when you JUST announce and don't take part it seems a little odd.

LOL! I was just thinking the same thing.
-
This has been a most peculiar day (a SHE LOVES ME reference). Yesterday felt like a Friday and I've been checking the date all day to verify it's a Friday. God alone knows what I'll be thinking by Monday.

You're right. I apologize.
I'm having "issues".

I have removed the 2nd posting.

Keith said maybe we shouldn't watch the first one again because of the changes. It might be best not to remember them.
-
I enjoyed Elaine Stritch reading Dorothy Parker so much I checked out another audio collection of her stories read by Christine Baranski, Alfre Woodard, Cynthia Nixon and Shirley Booth. It’s twice as long, so there are new stories to be savored. My favorite bit so far was in a story on the latest volume of Emily Post being released and the countless hours to be had at study.
-
George I am finding that the back story was expanded, not actually changed. You might find this interesting.

Just renewed my vehicle registration online. So much easier than having to do it in person.
-
I need to get ready to usher tonight.
-
But I don't feel like it just yet.
-
It's mint season. The backyard is overflowing.
-
Just found a cucumber and mint salad recipe. Sounds good.
-
After watching My Favorite Wife, tonight we'll watch the remake, Move Over, Darling. I like Doris Day, so I hope I enjoy it.
-
Issue vibes for DR DRUXY.

Rainy and cool here today.....temps in the 40's & 50's tonight, they say

This may be the night of the Jeopardy championship.

-
Hello, everyone.
-
I ran some errands today, then stopped for the great $7 bargain lunch at a very good local Italian restaurant. I'd like to see more restaurants do this. It's take-out only and cash only, but their busy lunch take-out business kept them going throughout the pandemic. They have a good outdoor dining business, too, now. Will the pandemic bring more respectability to take-out?
-
DR Ginny, congrats on your in-store shopping adventure. Will you continue to do some curbside pick-up or are you braving the stores from here on out?
-
My local Trader Joe's hasn't been very busy for at least a month now. I don't know why that is, but it's so much nicer shopping without a crowd.
-

I just did that for my mom a couple of weeks ago, you’re right it took less than 5 minutes, so much better than taking time from work, driving to DMV and standing in line in for hours

I somehow completely missed this movie....I wonder if it’s on Netflix
-
Birdy Barnum is enjoying the music from Joseph/Dreamcoat as I play it.....he really likes Jacob & Sons and Stone the Crows.
We really need to see some photographic evidence, Jrand. Is Birdy camera-shy? Insists on a model release? Needs to be bribed rewarded?

California charges $4.35 to do it (to cover the credit card fees), but it's sooo worth it! We now have DMV kiosks, too -- a great idea, IMO -- where they give you the new registration card once you pay. The government's productivity charts ought to factor in how much time people save by not going to the DMV.

He did, but it wasn't as long as it was in the second movie, which is actually earlier in time.

A jukebox musical of An Officer and a Gentleman is coming. Oy.

I have being doing the BMV by mail for a few years now. Yes, it is most excellent.
-
DR JEANNE when I try to upload a video of Birdy Barnum enjoying a "Joseph" selection, I am always flagged by YouTube and or Facebook as a copyright violator.....
I am trying to figure it out.
-
New check disc has arrived so I will check as soon as it's dark out. Also watched The Red Shoes.
-
Looks like someone tried to open a window at the church again. This time the pastor was in the other building when the alarm went off.
-
This was his first week, by the way.
-
I told him this really is a very safe area. I hope this doesn't scare him off.
-
It's the second window incident in a month.

Welcome new pastor. I hope it didn't scare him too much.

Did he seem ok?
-
They're trying to break into the church because they've heard the stories about the amazing treats on offer.

I think you figured it out :)

:)

I hope DR John G. enjoys the program tonight. It sounds like a good one.

And... the holiday weekend has commenced!
-
One more...
-
Good night, friends!
-
And... the holiday weekend has commenced!
And of course so has the rain....but it is supposed to turn into glorious sun again
-
Tuesday
-
I did enjoy the concert. The Mozart was particularly effective.
-
But it took me more than 45 minutes to get home.
-
A huge thunderstorm with hail just opened up as I was trying to find a restaurant to get a quick bite. There was so much rain that I had to pull into a parking lot while it passed. My windshield wipers were not fast enough to handle it.
The store where I pulled in was still open, but it's power flickered on and off three times.
-
In a matter of minutes, several inches of water was on the road.
-
And I'm home with a snack of celery.
-
Loving the opening of Judas and the Black Messiah. I don't know how long the power will last for me. Thunder is rolling back in.
-
Just approved the new check disc, so now it's off to have the stamper made and then replication and we'll have them in two to three weeks.
-

Nice.
-
Good night, all.
-
Where in tarnation IS everyone?
-
IS everyone in tarnation, for tarnation's sake?
-
Listening to music and why shouldn't I?
-
I am hoping I have avoided a big mess. Our HOA agreement requires that before owners can make major changes to their unit, they have to get written permission from other affected owners.
-
The biggest problem is owners of second and third floors wanting to remove their carpeting and replace it with wood flooring. The result is increased noise to the people below them, and can lower their resale amount.
-
In March the girl above me, sent her mother (who also lives there) down with a note saying she wanted to have some things changed in her unit, and she needed permission from me. The way she wrote it she said, “I want get a bath tub, some new cabinets and flooring.” I told her I would call her the next day when the letter was ready.
-
Where the HELL is George? We don't want to hear about no rabbit holes!
-
I just had a hunch about it, so I wrote that I was giving her permission to make changes to her unit’s bathroom to include the tub, cabinets and flooring.

He did, but it wasn't as long as it was in the second movie, which is actually earlier in time.
Do you mean in flashbacks during the film? I thought the sequel begins where the first one ended.
The sequel begins with a flashback from a point before the first movie starts, then it jumps to just where the first movie ended and goes on from there.
-
Most unseemly.
-
Oh, look! It's Page Six!
-
New check disc has arrived so I will check as soon as it's dark out. Also watched The Red Shoes.
The original movie, or Matthew Bourne's The Red Shoes?
-
Well, finally.
-
The original movie.
-
After playing two games of Phase 10 (I lost both), I did some shopping for my sister...again. ::)
;)
-
It took me almost an hour and a half to get everything she needed because I don't know where anything that she needed is kept in the store. :P
-
But there were only two things that I couldn't get, but that was because even though I found where they were, Fred Meyer was out of those two items.
-
So my sister will have to get them some other time, and more likely at some other store.
-
Well, her boyfriend also might be the one to get them, but it won't be me.
-
I finally came home and had a Schwan's frozen breakfast sandwich for dinner.
-
It wasn't too bad, but I had to chop up the very thin bacon into little pieces because the two large-ish pieces don't cut when you bite into them.
-
When you bite them, they just pull right out of the sandwich and then you only get two bites of bacon.
