And the word of the day is: MAJORLY!
I have been sitting here listening in abject astonishment to my DH telling me about "Ghost Tours," a hometown tradition in his small southern Minnesota city of birth.
A group of people are guided around a cemetery, and at various stops a costumed person "pops" out from behind a gravestone, and delivers a monologue as that person about their life.
I'm not sure whether to grab the popcorn or a straighjacket.
Around noon I’m going to a friend’s Memorial Day gathering wearing double layers from head to foot. Normally I love this gathering but I have no enthusiasm for it today. It’s just important to me because of what it will mean for my friend to have a few people show up and not cancel due to the weather. I’ll have a perfectly good time once there, and I have the show tonight to look forward to.

I love this!
Elmore, I saw Lucky Stiff many many years ago at a tiny local theater that did very good productions. I didn't expect much, but my gosh! It was so funny! We bought tickets to see it a second time
I saw it again in a different theater a couple years later. It was pretty bad. I rarely even smiled during it.
Still raining here

Oh! I passed a millstone!
We have, DR vixmom, and it is excellent. Kate Winslet is amazing. Final episode becomes available tonight.
The YouTube glitchy stuff was really irritating. It's been doing that a lot recently, whatever I'm watching.
Here is Walter singing it about ten years later:

That was a great show, from start to finish. I'm a little sad. I will have to experience them in the future through the notes. I sadly can't afford to fly to LA monthly to catch any more.
DR TCB if your upstairs neighbors can hear you coughing then I have no idea why they would want to pull the carpet out.

From what I read last night, there may not be any Olympic Games this year.
I haven't read any actual articles, mainly because I don't care either way.

Well, it sounds like your niece might.
Tom, are there any summer Olympic sports that you like?

I think Tom Daley is still diving for England.

I don't actually mind watching those events.
