I am home from my injection and PSA blood draw. Here's what's happening: prostate cancer thrives on testosterone, so the injection is to reduce the amount of testosterone in my system. Dr Glickman gas advised me that I may gave menopausal hot flashes or get man boobs, He told me to call Dr Blacksburg, the radiologist, to start the countdown to the radiation treatments. I have made the call, and I was told that would begin in 2.5 to 3 months. On Sept. 20 I see Dr/ G;ockman for the next injection.
Hey everyone....I just posted a bonus episode of the Broadway Radio Show for your listening pleasure. It's a chat with J. Breckenridge about his new album Monotony. His Broadway credits include Come From Away, The Book of Mormon, and The Scottsboro Boys. J. wrote and put together this whole album during pandemic. We had a fun chat and you'll hear his wonderful songs. Give it a listen!

DR George, I'm happy your mother's birthday celebration went well.

I have that CD. Jill Eickenberry. Not horrible. Not memorable
The mystery of The Creature Wasn't Nice orders has been solved, because I wrote one of the Amazon purchasers and asked. She responded that the film had been referenced on something called Svenghouli on METV. Never heard of either but I'll have to see if I can find out anything. This was on June 12, which is exactly when the orders started coming in.
Which is just a few hours from now.
I was very happy about the Supreme Court's ruling today upholding the Affordable Care Act.
Not so happy that they also allowed adoption agencies to discriminate, but you can't win them all.
~~~OPENING NIGHT VIBES~~~ for bk and company!
I am planning to go to a Brooklyn tomorrow night to meet some friends I have not seen since March 12, 2020 and have dinner and watch an Indy band play
Too many idiot anti vaxxers nuts around
Shortly, I shall be on my way to Muse Margaret's to drop off something, then to the theater and our opening night.
Our first night's blocking went very well.....all of the music was learned in about 45 minutes....and then the blocking/dancing commenced....and both short songs were done....in time to do them several times....
Adjustments will need to be made -- but I am pleased with the progress.... and everyone seems to be having a good time.
I am fading fast.....ten days straight at the theatre....and at last....three days off!
Is anybody getting Friday off due to the new holiday?
Back from our opening night. I think everyone was either friends of the cast or authors or directors or members of the Group Rep - so, it was a nice crowd. Between you, me, and the lamppost, most of the plays are merely okay. I do believe ours got the most enthusiastic response and mostly because the two actresses really deliver and I added a LOT of humor to it, and that's what they responded to - big laughs throughout and then an R&B song followed by a quick, funny tag for the exit.
