Well, you've read the notes, the notes were lush, and now it is time for you to post until the lush cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PARLAY!
-
A Very Happy Birthday to DR John G., whom I just met in person for the very first time yesterday!! :D
-
BK, I'd love a copy of the vocal selections to A Carol Christmas! Hopefully, you will make some available!
-
And now, I'm off to bed. Having a day off means that I'll need to ketchup today. I hate it when that happens. ::)
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Glad you finally got home, DR George.
-
I have never even heard of that Debussy opera! Sounds intriguing.
-
And LUSH.
-
Should you drink a lush whilst listening to a lush opera?
-
Classic unprepared dream last night. I had to perform a rapid-patter song which I had not prepared. Well, I had prepared it, but the edition/translation in my folder wasn't the one I had learned. Anyway, it was a mess.
-
I, too, would be interested in the vocal selections from A Carol Christmas.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I finally got a good night's sleep, and for the first time in some time I was actually asleep by 10:00. Lately I've been going to bed around 9:00 but, because of the leg pains and worries, not getting to sleep before midnight. I remember no dreams.
-
I have no plans at all today, which is about the same as every day. I phoned Joshie yeserday, but he's tied up in prep work with Jonathan Tunick for his Big Event on Saturday.
-
I would love to be there for the dress or the performance.
-
DR George, thanks for the documentation of yesterday's get-together. Wish I coulda been there.
-
DR TCB, vibes to you, dear friend. Feel better!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Birthday Felicitations to our DR JohnG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Happy Birthday DR JOHN G.
-
I am glad to hear from DR DONALD that Aaron T accepted my Tony on Sunday. I'll contact him and let him know where to send it.
-
Yes DR CHAS SMITH I am still watching 911 and last's night's episode is most exciting.....I like the guy who is playing the villain in this particular arc....
Of course I am also partial to 911 Lone Star.....and tonight The Resident starts up again. I have given up on The Good Doctor which moved even further into idiocy last season, so it's off my list this year.
-
Today I have a check up with my regular doctor.
Then I shall stop my the oncologist and radiologist who seem to have lost my name. I know I am due for a regular appointment with both - but since one doctor moved on to another practice and the other one retired....I haven't heard from them.
Although I did get an email from the radiologist telling me I had an appointment on July 1. I got the email on July 21.
And what with the colonoscopy scheduled for next Monday - I thought I would just get all the ducks in a row.
-
So in a few minutes I will be on way to get that done.
I feel like DR ELMORE!
-

I'm so sorry!

Good morning, all.
-
Should you drink a lush whilst listening to a lush opera?
Perhaps - if you ARE a lush, and are luxuriously bathing in a nice Lush product.
-
I would love to be there for the dress or the performance.
Yes, wouldn't that be nice. So would I, and I'm sorry to say my schedule this week utter prohibits any such thing.
Why is this in Sharon, CT? Does he come from that area? (I ask this, of course, without doing any of the required research.)
-

Yes, we are devout followers of both '911's. I for one am always interested in the L.A. locales, which can get pretty hilarious with the utterly fictitious geographic relationships that abound. But both have their excellent casts and fascinating characters and story arcs.
We lost touch with The Resident back when they changed the schedules on us. That's no excuse, but we just haven't yet done the ketchup work required.
-
So in a few minutes I will be on way to get that done.

Ah, then you must be ready to venture out and adopt a few cats!

Jonathan has a house in Connecticut, but I honestly have no idea where.

Ah, my close personal friend Mr. Google says that’s precisely where he lives. In Sharon.
Which isn't far from where Tom Jones lives. And in turn, where Stephen Sondheim lives.
-
In normal times, Sharon Playhouse hosts some nice regional and community theatre.
-
Good morning, all.
-
A very Happy Birthday to you, DR John G.!

George, I am glad you made it home safely. What a scary story. I am so dependent on my directional apps.

I want a slice of that for breakfast. Do you deliver?
-
Thank you, Bruce, for the wishes in the notes.
-
Boy, did this turn into a crappy day outside. It started off clear and comfortable, and turned into a dark, chilly, rainy mess. I just turned the heat on, which I suddenly realized was sorely needed. Looks like the rest of the day is more of the same.
-
I had two cousins named Sharon and Sandra.... They were both cheerleaders and most talented singers and dancers.
Sharon passed away about a year ago....and I haven't seen Sandy for many years.
And of course Sharon is a geographical place in the Holly Bibble.
-
I got my flu shot......I got blood drawn for tests.....and I got back on track with my oncologist [new] and radiologist [new].
So I have THREE appointments in October not counting the colonoscopy that is scheduled for next Monday.
I haven't had so much attention focused on me since one night at the Metro Bar in downtown Indy when I wore my sleeveless t-shirt.
-
I think it sounds like a new card game - kind of a cross between hearts and euchre....
I Take Back My Yum.
-
Tuesday morning greetings! The landscaping and railing are going in as we speak, which means this phase of our outdoor improvements is almost complete. We need to get a new screen/storm door and have some siding replaced.
-
Happiest of birthdays to DR John G!

And just at that moment of epiphany, I also realized I had a Benadryl day on my hands. The sneezing had begun just before I got up, and I stayed in denial far too long.

I finally got around to reading Stranger in a Strange Land.
-
From what I have read about the book I didn't expect to finish it, just read enough to get a good feel for it.
-
While I didn't love it, I rather enjoyed the first part of the book and expected to finish it.
-
Last night, at around 60% into the book I returned it to the library ;D
-
Thanks to Wikipedia I know what happens, and I know I do not want to go down that road.
-
Glad you finally got home, DR George.
Thanks, Singdaw! Me, too!
-
DR George, thanks for the documentation of yesterday's get-together. Wish I coulda been there.
My pleasure, Larry!

I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep and straight through.

Not a problem, and it wasn't too scary. I knew that if something was wrong with my phone, I'd eventually get somewhere where I could find I-5....eventually. ;)

I have nothing more to add at this time.

My car has gotten very little use over the three years or so
-
My new commute made me realize that the brakes were making a sound I didn’t like
-
And there was some whining noise from under the hood

And it was nearly time for an oil change

And when I brought the car in for all that the mechanic kindly pointed out 5b at I was. In year 5 of a three year battery

So $2300 later……

Yeah there no decimal in between any of those numbers

So far so good. I haven’t broken anything yet and fixed a few things. They seem to like me and I don’t dislike any them .
I almost know everyone’s names.
The fun thing is how many people come into the office and know me. I’ve been averaging a reunion every other day or so with visiting attorneys, paralegals, closers, the IT guy…that’s been fun .

We have begun watching the new series FOUNDATION. I loved the books when I read them though I don't recall much since it has been a long time. I read that the series is reflecting a more modern representation of women, at that Asimov had actually updated his books to do just that. Good for him. I expect I read the updated versions.

Hello, everyone.
-
The day would not be complete without wishing John G a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Such a nice birthday vacation!
-
Starting tomorrow I will be begin a series of dental visits -- always fun -- followed by another little outpatient surgery. Electricians will also be doing major electrical work on the building, requiring power shut-offs and disrupted parking. I shall need a big dose of PATIENCE for the next five weeks.
-
Healthy vibes to all who need them.
-
TTFN.

Nice new plateau John G! Happy 65,000 posts!!
And here it is! Congrats!
-
Today is apparently yet another "Day" - National Son's Day. I do not have a son. Perhaps the son'll come out tomorrow.
-
Finished with my viewing.
-
So, a couple of weeks ago, I bought a new (to me) newish phone to replace my 5-year old LG G5.
-
The main reason that I replaced it is that my LG G5 only (only??) has 32GB of internal memory, and it keeps filling up with the cache memory, and I now have to continually clear the cache to free up space.
-
My new phone, a Samsung A51 has 128GB of internal memory...that should take a LONG time to fill up!
-
PAGE SEVEN SAMSUNG A51 DANCE!!
