Well, you've read the notes, the notes entered fixes, and now it is time for you to post until the fixed cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: FACTOID!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
Happy Birthday to (former?) DR Kate, who is (current!) DR KevinH's sister!
-
The 1st birthday party for Miss Audrey James Moore was a well-attended success, especially for parents Becky and Evan Moore. I suspect the party was primarily for them. The first year was particularly rough as Audrey had some medical issues with her inner ear that proved emotionally stressful for said parents.
At any rate, the entire affair was attended by maskless adults and maskless chidren.
Food was exceptionally good: Main course was barbecue, baked beans, slaw, brown rice and rolls. There were also meatballs, pigs in blankets, chips and dip, and cupcakes and brownies.

Good morning, all!
-
I slept until 6:30, an hour after the alarm rang. It may be the radiation, but I am very tired and completely unmotivated.
-
The snow drifts between the shoveled sidewalk and the curb mean I will not be going to radiation tomorrow. I'm hoping enough has melted to go back in on Tuesday.
-
I have a zoom meeting at 2:00 about this possible recording project. After kitty cleanup this morning, I need to pay my bills for the first of the month.
-
Good morning, all.
-
In a little while I'm going to get dressed in my various layers and go outside to start the cleanup.
No idea how much we got. Looking out through the windows it seemed like only 4 or 5 inches, but I've also heard reports that the town got up to 12". Well, we shall see. We shall see. Regardless of the actual amount, it's going to be a big job.
-
DR RonPulliam, the party looks and sounds like a big success.
-
After kitty cleanup, I pulled the laundry, which I need to bag up for tomorrow. Then I will make the bed.
-
Happy Sunday, everyone! There's a new Broadway Radio Show posted for your listening pleasure. Dim the lights, grab a cocktail, kick back and enjoy the music of famed pianist Beegie Adair! Beegie passed away last week at age 84, but left behind a wonderful recording legacy including, of course, lots of show tunes! Enjoy!!!

Good morning, all.
-
Very tired.

My friend Gail hasn’t had a great year. Her condo started leaking and her HOA has dragged their feet on things. It’s still not completely fixed eight months later. And the leak is from the outside. So, another friend of hers is throwing a Jane Austen themed brunch for her today. Should be fun.
-
I haven’t heard or seen the word factoid in a long while. And I am grateful for that.
-
Such a lovely photo of the guest of honor at the party attended by DR RON PULLIAM!
-
Congrats to MR BK on the proofing and casting vibes for today!

I watched THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE last night and I feel about it mostly the way DR JOHN G wrote last week.
Soon after I got my cable TV I found Jim & Tammy Bakker and PTL and would watch them now and then in the afternoon. It was a train wreck, but it could be entertaining.
From my own viewing I have to say that Tammy always seemed sincere and she loved people and talking to everyone - she certainly never met stranger. This actress woman didn't seem to have a sincere bone in her body for the performance - and she didn't capture Tammy and what drew folks to her.
The actor playing Jim was okay - but the story wasn't even told well....so hopefully they won't be rewarded with any Academy Award nominations......
-
The End.

Amen.

The plow guy did a good job, and it indeed looked like we only got several inches. But it's very light and fluffy, and hard to clean up because as you plow or use the snowblower, it keeps falling back into the part you just supposedly cleared.
On the other hand, the one last week was huge, wet, crusty, frozen slush-y, and nearly impossible to move except with plows.
You can't win.
-
Not with the white s--t you can't.
-
I did really like one of Sparks's songs, called When Do I Get to Sing "My Way"? It's sort of a pop version of Philip Glass minimalism. I'm listening to the concert disc and it's still my favorite.

I'm up, I'm up - maybe six hours of sleep. And now I shall be on my way to a casting session.
-
Starting the latest C.B. Strike: Lethal White. Enough distance from reading the novel not to remember all the key plot points.
-
Onward!

Two!

I am glad it was a nice affair and vibes it was not a covid party.

Howard Hesseman has died. He was 81 years old.
-
I enjoyed him on WKRP in Cincinnati.

I enjoyed him on WKRP in Cincinnati.
May he Rest in Peace!
-
Just finished my Sunday Zoom chat. It has been a shorter chat the past couple of weeks owing to no-shows. There is only so much four people can talk about on a weekly basis before weather, politics and Covid become the primary topic. The subject is supposed to be film music.
-
The day has warmed up considerably. From this morning's 18 degrees to the present 55 degrees. Sunny day.
Tonight should see us just at freezing and no lower.
-
DR RonPulliam, the party looks and sounds like a big success.
It was. I was one of the first to leave. Better that than to be on the clean-up crew, which I suspect returned today to finish up.
The place looked to have been decorated over a few days, although it was likely just the day before and most of the day of.
So much stuff. And the gifts were many!!
-
Good afternoon!
-
Thanks, DRs George and Jane, for the birthday greeting for Kate. I shall pass them on to her!
-
Cute photo, DR RonPulliam!
-
My nephew came by and twenty minutes later my seat belt was working fine!
I gave him $40 - if I had taken it to the shop, I'm sure it would have been twice or three times that.
-
Today's lunch:
Grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup.
The Classic.
Which is only proper, following a morning of snow cleanup out in the zeros.
-
The DECADES Channel is showing a marathon of MY THREE SONS episodes.....these are all from Season Two 1961-62.
The end credits feature the 1962 line of Chevrolet cars - and the neighbors are driving a nice four door Corvair.

Very nice!
-
One episode featured Harriet (Mrs. Drysdale) MacGibbon as a maid who was sweet on Bub.
One episode featured Irene (Granny) Ryan as the wife of a guy vacationing where Steve was.
One episode featured the kid who played Larry Mondello in BEAVER a couple of years after he left that show.....he was taller and much heavier.
The same episode featured Raymond (Mr. Drysdale) Bailey as a man buying a hat from Bub at a department store.....he lost his toupee.
I was thinking my gosh....the very next season these folks (except Larry Mondello) would be in the Number One Show....The Beverly Hillbillies. I thought all we need now is Nancy (Jane Hathaway) Kulp.
AND BOOM.....here she is in this episode as Robbie's chemistry teacher.....

Howard Hesseman has died. He was 81 years old.
Oh, no. :(
-
I enjoyed him on WKRP in Cincinnati.
So did I...that's pretty much the only thing I saw him in. :-\
-
Good morning, friends. Well, afternoon.
-
As I must leave the house before 7:00AM on Sundays, I sometimes don't get a chance to catch up and post before that.
-
This morning the choir collaborated with the bell choir, and it was most delightful. They also played a very challenging piece on their own.
-
I really am trying to get on board with the whole pronouns thing, but my brain stutters.
-
The author Someone closely associated with Uganda's "kill the gays" bill has died of Covid. It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Uganda got the idea from some American "Christian" scumbags.

Great news it is once again safe to drive, weather permitting.
-
This day has been too fraught. I did get in a nice hot bath, and tyhe zoom meeting was fun, but for the rest . . .flush it.
-

I am reading the details of this bill. OMG! It even included the clause that you couldn't break the law outside of the country or you would be extradited to Uganda for punishment.

Oh, shucky-darn. ::)
;)
-
The grocery run this morning included a big batch of sumo mandarins, which I am looking forward to enjoying.
-
Three!
-
The brunch was fun. It wasn’t entirely period perfect, but so be it.
-
Nice house. It has its own ballroom. Sadly, the owners’ knees are st the point where they don’t want so many stairs.

Fun is the important part :)

Maybe they can convert the ballroom to a master bedroom.
-
They’re moving. It goes on the market tomorrow. We planted Joseph statues before we left.
-
May it sell quickly.

Thank you. I just had to skip past Stephanie Block’s comments.

Binge watching Lethal White. Up to episode 3. Fun adaptation.

I've enjoyed them, too. I haven't heard if she's written anymore books, though.

-
Just how many Maigret television series have there been? I know of at least three.
-
Given the current cream cheese shortage, you may want to just try making your own. It looks pretty simple.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Let's see. Casting session was fun and I can use four of the gals who were there, so another four to cast. I'd forgotten that of the original fourteen member cast, it wasn't an even seven and seven, it was eight gals, six boys, which is actually good. We have two potential other females and if they come through then we'll only need two more - but we have zero boys and only one of today's is viable and not optimal, certainly.
-
Then I had an early dinner meeting at Stanley's - best waitress, so that was good. I had one of their specials - chicken pot pie and a side Caesar salad - both excellent.
-
And now I'm home, pondering what I'll do.
-
Where is everyone?
-
I finished Lethal White, which I think I enjoyed a little more than the book.
-
Then talked on the phone for an hour.
-
Now I want to settle down with some reading material.
-
I need to get back to Safe Passage.
-
Let’s see if we can get off this page first.
-
J.B. Is raising a ruckus.
-
He’s not the center of the universe at the moment.
-
And that’s bothering him.
-
Alexa is now playing a Saint-Saens piano concerto. Lovely.
-
How’s that for filler?
-
Onward!
-
Four!
-
Hi, George.
-
I need to finish folding laundry.

For those interested, a couple more people have posted vids from last week's Kritzerland show - and they're on my page.

I always love watching that!
-
Then, I always have to watch Rita Moreno's version:

-
Let us get off this damn page before I have to brain people.
-
This is unpleasant!
-
Where was everyone today?
-
Was it the snow storm?
-
Was it the blizzard?
-
Was it the Nor’easter?
-
Or was it Uranus?
-
This can’t be happening!
-
But it is.
-
Page 5 seems a long way away.
-
It would be nice to have a little help.
-
Heavy rain today.
-
And lots of snow in the mountains.
-
So, perhaps there is another storm brewing for the East Coast.
-
I spent the day watching football.
-
It's supposed to get a little colder tomorrow, at least here in Tumwater.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
I was cheering on San Francisco 49ers.

-
Sorry, I can’t get the photo to move over here.
-
Maybe George will help.
-
Anyway Jimmy Garoppolo was the only reason I would cheer for the dreaded 49ers
-
But we weren’t in the playoffs this year, sophomore cares.
-
A one more dreaded post.
-
Page five!
-
I have no time for enlarged posts.
-
I am just glad I made it to page five.
-
No matter what size!
-
Well, maybe George can’t fix the photo.
-
Maybe George will help.
I can...he's a cutie!! ;D

Oh dear, it is after midnight.
-
BK will be here any second.
-
But, I will not be blamed.
-
BK is here and ready to bitch slap all our errant and truant dear readers.

Most unseemly.

-
New notes are up and I don't care who knows it.
-
I gotta tell you.
-
And I have told you.
-
No, not I.
-
Just because...here's another picture of Jimmy Garoppolo:
