Well, you've read the notes, the notes were deafening, and now it is time for you to post until the deafening cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ATARAXIA!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
Today would have been dear reader Kerry's birthday - died too damn young.
-
And it is the birthday of our very own Donald Feltham.

Today would have been dear reader Kerry's birthday - died too damn young.
:(
-
And it is the birthday of our very own Donald Feltham.
A Very Happy Birthday to Donald Feltham!
-
Topic of the Day: I'm mostly on my computer and when I'm not on HHW, I'm watching YouTube vids. ::)
-
Good morning, friends.
-
DR TCB - you didn't try KFC's new vegan chicken nuggets? They come in the green bucket.
I haven't tried them, myself.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept late, to Annabelle's and Thatch's happiness, since they were sleeping with me. Stella had no patience.
-
The radiation treatments are cusing inflammation in my bladder and half of my night is occupied with bathroom breaks. I think if I'd known this going in, I would have opted for the hip replacement and let the cancer kill me in ten years.
-
This is another day at home. I hope tomorrow the snow has melted enough for me to go back to Lenox Hill.
-
Yesterday I did laudry, but after that my legs were too shot and I spent muchof the day lying down. I will vacuum today.
-
Good morning to all
-
Thank you very much for all the kind birthday wishes yesterday.
-
Happy birthday to Donald Feltham
-
And it is the birthday of our very own Donald Feltham.
Still miss him. He was one of the kindest persons I ever met.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Happy birthday, DR Donald!
-
And yes, happy birthday in Kerry’s honor.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I couldn’t fall asleep quickly last night, but I eventually wiped out. Good sleep for about seven hours.
-
DR Kerry will forever be missed...and I say that as someone who only got to know his huge spirit and his warmth and wit just in time to have to say goodbye to it. I wish I could have met him in person.
-
Good morning!

I can only imagine the discomfort and inconvenience of the side effects, but I will nevertheless say that I am so glad that you're having the treatments with, I believe, just over two weeks to go? Which probably sounds like an eternity right about now. Strong vibes for your comfort in the meantime, sir!
-
Happy Birthday, Donald!
-
Good morning, everyone.
-
I had a wonderful night of sleep! Around 8 hours of it!
I feel like I could grab a few more winks, but the day beckons.
-
I wonder if could get some eggs with those beckons.
-
Page 2 just popped up, and I am willing to let it pass with just this one mention in regular sized type.
-
Who remembers this photo?
-
I went back to bed for an hour, and I hoper this does not become a regular event,
-
Happy Birthday to DR DONALD!
-
A moment to remember DR KERRY.
-
Important envelope vibes for MR BK....along with ZOOM vibes.
-
DR singdaw what do Vegan Chickens eat?
-
Temps in the 50's today. Rain all day tomorrow changing to sleet and freezing rain in the afternoon with snow all night Wednesday and Thursday - as was reported by DR GINNY yesterday.
-
I am also excited to have the Bengals in the World Series and hope they win.
-
DR ELMORE I know it is an irritant and causes problems, but along with DR CHAS SMITH - I am also glad that you chose to do the radiation treatments.
It is better to be alive for you and for all your loved ones.....including those here at HHW.
You have much left to accomplish....AND today ends the Mercury Retrograde!
-
If I looked like that football player whose photo was posted yesterday, I would probably walk around in just my underwear as well.
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DONALD!!!!
-
T.O.D.
If there is nothing on TV that I want to watch, I prefer silence.
-
Today is the centennial anniversary of the 1922 murder of silent screen director William Desmond Taylor...a crime that changed Hollywood forever...and has never (officially) been solved.
My book, MURDER IN BABYLON, provides the solution for this mystery that they still write about.

Chester, my dog, is not a happy camper today.
He's at the groomer.
-
But he will be lovely DR DRUXY.
-
I made the mistake of going to the WalMart this morning - on the first of the month and the day a Winter Storm Warning was posted.
However I was one of the youngest people there and Smirnoff's Green Apple vodka must taste awful because it was on sale for $5 a bottle.
-
DR RON PULLIAM I see that one of my favorite shows "The Righteous Gemstones" is filmed in South Carolina. You should go over there and be an extra or play a bit part.
This is still one of the funniest and on point things I have ever seen on the television machine.

Oh and on Saturday night the new NIGHTMARE ALLEY will be on HBO....I shall be watching.
-
DR TCB you were correct, I much preferred the smiling photo :)
-
TCB, it warmed my heart knowing you had lunch with Sharry.
-
DR George we ordered our tests the second day and haven't received an email.
-
Today would have been dear reader Kerry's birthday - died too damn young.
:'(
-
And it is the birthday of our very own Donald Feltham.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DONALD!
-
A moment to remember DR KERRY.
Yes, I will be thinking of him all day.
-
DR Laura are you using his mixer today? Sending hugs to you.
-
LOL DR Ron, where did you fin that. I find it amazing how well I remember my father taking the photo.

Have you watched The Kominsky Method?

Tuesday morning greetings!
Temps in the 50's today. Rain all day tomorrow changing to sleet and freezing rain in the afternoon with snow all night Wednesday and Thursday - as was reported by DR GINNY yesterday.
And that's why we're going out for a late lunch/early dinner today. We may not go out again for a few days...
-
Oh and on Saturday night the new NIGHTMARE ALLEY will be on HBO....I shall be watching.
Looking forward to a report. The novel really is all over the place.
-
Three!
-
Good morning. It's not noon yet here.
-
Today in honor of DR Kerry, the mixer is whirling.
-
A trip to CVS proved fruitful. Got a prescription, got another straightened out, got free N95 masks and a Hep B shot.
-

Nice
-
On Kerry's last birthday, I took him an oreo cake.
-
Happy Birthday Donald!
-
I'm up, I'm up - almost eight hours of sleep.
-
I bought a box of keto ice cream bars at Costco. Dreadful. Having to eat high-carb crackers to get the taste out of my mouth.
-
I heard you should eat dumplings for the New Year today, so I've ordered Chinese food for dinner.
-
I accomplished all I wanted to do - vacuum, make the bed, kitty cleanup, and recyclables to the basement - by 11:00. At that point my legs said, no more. The severe pain is in my right ankle. So, I lay down with the cats and just got up to answer a few emails.
-
I have yet to see the Tyrone Power NIGHTMARE ALLEY.
-

It's time to feed my three little kittens.

Dumplings and/or fish. I had fish for lunch, but it was Mexican fish soup.
-
Back from banking. First bank, in and out in four minutes. BofA Studio City STILL closed - over a month now. Went to the local branch and thankfully a short line that moved quickly, so in and out of there in ten.
-
And now we think about food.
-
Someone mentioned Chinese and that sounds good, but I haven't had any coupons of late so I'd have to go somewhere to pick it up - don't want Panda Express. Then again, I know I'm going to Genghis Cohen on Sunday so maybe I'll just wait.

Yes it is the year of the Tiger! I was born in 1950 - a Tiger Year - so here we are.....it can be a good thing....then again....NOT.
If you birthday this year is evenly divided by 12 you were also born in a year of the Tiger....12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96......
My brother Kent who was born in 1962 was also born in a year of the Tiger.

DR ELMORE the Tyrone Power version shows up now and then and might be available on a streaming service.
It's pretty good....
-

I am sure he enjoyed it.

Criterion released a version last year. Joan Blondell is perfect as a carny.
-
LOL DR Ron, where did you fin that. I find it amazing how well I remember my father taking the photo.
I actually saved it when you posted it the first time. It's amazing the things you find in old photo files!!!

LOL, I would prefer to be the year of the Tiger. Being a Rat is supposed to be very good.

I don't remember if you were still posting here or not at that time, DR Ron, but when Kerry passed away, his partner invited me to come into his home and choose some items to remember him by. Sandra and I chose some paintings and art deco items. I noticed that the Kitchenaid mixer was still in the kitchen. I hesitated to ask for a utilitarian item, but I did speak up and said that I would use it. Dennis said that of course I should take it; he had thought of it earlier, but forgot it until I mentioned it. I use it quite a bit.
-
I am a dog.
-
The groundhog of Groundhog Day died.
Does that mean 10 more years of Covid?
-
Sorry. I guess that was pretty dark. Although that's how I'm feeling at the moment.
-

Understood.

Gratuitous post 100!

Oh G_d, I hope not.
-
Sorry. I guess that was pretty dark. Although that's how I'm feeling at the moment.
I think we all feel that way.
-
Yes......I would like for it to be over.....this Covid mess.....I almost typed another word.
-
DR Ron I just read a story under the headline "The Omicron wave took a much greater toll on Southern California compared to the San Francisco Bay Area, where higher vaccination levels contributed to significantly lower death rates"
Have your friends there mentioned this?
The hospitals have also not run out of space.
-
I had heard things are getting difficult at our local hospitals.
-
I am wondering if DR Vixmom is home. I think she is.
-
She doesn't call, she doesn't write.... ;)
-
;D
-
Just like her.
-
Finished the Balanchine documentary. Wonderful flick. I really loved seeing footage of these dancers learning a piece when they were younger and then showing the steps to the next generation. They all seemed to have learned their lessons well.
-
That's great, DR John G. I want to watch that.
-
Instead, tonight I watched The Addams Family (1991). which I hadn't seen since it was in theaters.

Nice.

Good night, friends.
-
'night
-
Tomorrow is the 100th anniversary of the publication of James Joyce’s Ulysses. May be time to reread that one.
-
Big, long call with my sister Linda about Mom. She has been told she needs to use a walker, but she doesn’t want to.
-
Eyes tired.
-
Off to bed …
-
Five!
-
Good night, all.
-

And that is lovely! I did not remember the details about his death, but knew he died. That was the year I retired from County service (July 29), so I was an active participant here. I know that you were good friends and wondered if your comment today about using a mixer was a nod toward his memory.
-
FWIW, my birth year (1948) was a rat year.
-
Well, I can barely hold my eyes open any longer. An interesting day, but also with its middling aspects.
Sigh.
Good night.
-
Listening to Puccini and I don't care who knows it. Also, eating some pasta with butter and cheese.

And it is a fantastic book. I enjoyed it immensely. I highly recommend it all DR’s. I have told a great many people about it.

Kerry was a very sweet man. He is missed.
-
Happy Birthday, Donald!

I’m confused. Do you mean that if our age this year is divided by 12, we were born in the year of the tiger? Because I was also born in 50, which is not divisible by 12. However, I knower I was born in the year of the tiger.
-

Larry, I have to ask. If you know you are going to go back to bed, why do you bother to make your bed?

Lighten up my friend!🥰

Finished the Balanchine documentary. Wonderful flick. I really loved seeing footage of these dancers learning a piece when they were younger and then showing the steps to the next generation. They all seemed to have learned their lessons well.
What is the name of the Balanchine documentary? I am wondering if my former friend is in it?
-
Tonight I watched the Betty white special that they aired the other night. I laughed a great deal, and I cried a great deal, too.
-
Well, I am tired of talking to myself. I think I will either post more photos of Jimmy Garoppolo OR I will go to bed.
-
I think I will go to bed. Goodnight.
-
Oh dear.
-
Once again George is in absentia.
-
This is becoming far too regular an occurrence and it occurs far too regularly.
-
I gotta tell you.
