Well, you've read the notes, the notes had blurbs, and now it is time for you to post until the blurbed cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ESEMPLASTIC!
-
Great blurbs, BK!
-
I was just about to post this last night about why I'm borrowing my sister's car: my 24-year old Ford Escort has served me quite well over the 24 years that I've owned it, but it's not going to last much longer. I don't want to put any more money into it, but I might need to get one headlight fixed. I changed both bulbs and all the fuses look okay, but one headlight is still out, so it's gotta be some wiring issue.
-
Another reason that I like borrowing my sister's car: she has a CD player in it! My Escort only has a cassette player and radio, so I've been able to listen to CDs while driving to and from Centralia.
-
Good morning, all!
-
A good review and several god blurbs, not bad at all.

I wanted to sleep longer but two cats ffwlt otherwise. Annabelle was happy to stay with me, stil Thatch and Stella, the poor baby who acts as though she hasn't eaten in months, won out. I may go back to bed now that they've eaten.
-
I have no plans at all today, and that's fine with me.
-
I was awoken this morning by the wind
-
It was whistling around the sides of the house and rattling the windows
-
But it has settled down now
-
I am currently enjoying a lightly Toasted Sesame seed brioche bagel with cream cheese and a cup o’ decaf with hazelnut creamer
-
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm,mm
-
The lady from Progressive called Vixdad yesterday and said they have decided that their insured did indeed bear 100% liability for the accident
-
I think he was almost disappointed
-
He was gearing up for a battle
-
Now we’re waiting for a list of their affiliated auto body shops
-
We could go to any shop we choose and put in for reimbursement, but generally if you go to a insurance company’s affiliated shop there is no argument over the costs and they’ll pay directly so you don’t have to go out of pocket and then wait for a check
-
Waiting to see if they’ll also cover the cost of a rental car
-
This brioche bagel is amazing
-
I fear to look at the label for the calorie count
-
This Saturday Vixdad and I are attending a tabletop gaming convention being held at a local aerospace museum
-
Not sure how these two subjects intersect but it should be fun
-
Then on Tuesday after work I’m meeting a couple of friends at the Brooklyn Academy of Music to see James MacAvoy in a “brand new production” of Cyrano de Bergerac
-
Then Thursday night Vixdad and I are going to see Blondie in their first post Covid live performance at a local theatre here on the island.
-
Things are normalizing again
-
And I may actually have stuff to chat about
-
The past couple of years have pretty much just been get up go to work, come home , make dinner, watch TV, go to bed
-
Speaking of TV
-
We’ve been bingeing “The Expanse”
-
I was having trouble getting into because I was having trouble with hearing and understanding the dialogue
-
Then Vixdad rolled it back and put the subtitles on and now I love it
-
We’ve just begun season 6
-
The last season
-
Although Vixdad has warned me it was not the planned as the last season
-
Oh, i completely forgot to mention, those are excellent blurbs, BK, I look forward to reading the new book
-
Also congratulations on the excellent reviews
-
Good morning, all.
-
I envy you, Vixmom. I love Cyrano.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good morning to all. I hope everyone has a great day
-
We have a dark rainy day today, and that suits me just fine.
I will complete my proofing of the Cinderella keyboard programming, which is literally hot off the press and needs “beta testing”. Then I can practice playing it so we can hear it at tomorrow’s rehearsal.
-
A good review and several god blurbs, not bad at all.
BK’s books answer to a higher authority!
-
More coffee!
-
Good morning, one and all.
It is now Wednesday here in Johnston SC.
The skies are dark and another wave of storms is headed our way.
The weather guessers say hail may be a part of our experience.
-
Meanwhile, the painter (Jeff) is here scraping away at the woodwork. He will do as much as he can before the rains come.
-
My cousin Ashley is coming to town today to visit with my cousin Debra (Ashley is the first-born of Debra's oldest brother, Butch).
Debra has been preparing my aunt's house for an auction of goods, and I think Ashley will either go over things to see if there is something she would like, or she may help Debra in some way.
Anyway...Ashley is bringing luncheon sandwiches and beverages, and I have been invited to share with them.
I shall go.
-
Oof!
-
Then on Tuesday after work I’m meeting a couple of friends at the Brooklyn Academy of Music to see James MacAvoy in a “brand new production” of Cyrano de Bergerac
I love this play! I hope you have a wonderful time. I am so jealous.
-
I've made my referral appointment to see an ENT physician about the nasal polyps. I expected to hear there was a date available in 2025, but, surprisingly, I got an appointment for April 21.
-
And back to the recording budgets. Oy!
-
I'm currently waiting for a grocery delivery.
-
Waiting for the doctor.
-
Great blurbs!
Las Vegas vibes for MR BK.
-
Sounds like everyone is motivating along well.
We went to the bank and got the 24 cashier's checks for the gaping maws. We'll deliver a few and my sister mailed the rest.....so we shall see what happens.
My two brothers were happy to get theirs....it is a nice check with more to come....
SELL DAMNED HOUSE SELL......ST JOSEPH do your stuff!

From DR John:
I’ve got Fava beans pods on the plant.
I miss the fresh Fava beans Keith grew in Ashland. Bryan made the best Fava bean falafels with them. I was very excited to find fava bean falafels on a menu in Greece. Unfortunately I only found them once, and they were delicious.
-
Waiting to see if they’ll also cover the cost of a rental car
I hope so. Even though our insurance covered the cost of a rental, it too so darn long to fix the car we had to pay for part of the time we had the car. With only one car we didn't have other options.
-
The cracked window is being replaced. I am relieved not to worry about it completely falling apart.
-
Stinking chemicals are currently being used.
-
Good morning, friends. Just barely.
-
Just under the wire.
-
As it were.
-
I don't know why DR TCB is worried about posting pointless posts.
-
I mean, ALL of mine are.
-
Pointless, I mean.
-
They have a point, Singdaw. But sometimes the point has been worn down to a nubbin.
-
;D
-
It is a good morning to be stuck at home as I have lots to do.
-
Keith's cousin and her boyfriend are arriving tomorrow and I have lots to do.
-
A1c is down to 6.5. Very nice. Doctor was pleased.
-
Triglycerides were too high.
-
Triglycerides were too high.
I have that problem. I haven't checked my A1c in a long while.

VERY good news!
-
That was mine, too, George.
-
I think I should take the rest of the day off to contemplate things.
-
We’ve just begun season 6
I've watched Season 1, and read the first six books. I've also purchased the first four sessons.
-
I think you like it ;D
-
Oof!

I have that same problem. ::)
;)
-
The window looks nice, except Keith had to do a bit of touch up painting.
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven and a half hours of sleep.
-
I've pulled out of the Vegas thing.
-
Got a bad review (good for the performers) for LA Now and Then - I'm truly sorry I didn't create the show she wanted - oh, well. It's some paper in Larchmont that nobody reads, so it's fine. She wanted more grit, more NOW - and I suppose I could have written a wonderful number about the crime rate in LA right now in all areas, which is off the charts.

Ya can't please 'em all.
-
More Grit & Now! is the title of my new hip hop musical about my hometown in Indiana.
-
Too bad about the Las Vegas debacle.....
-
My question for ASK BK DAY:
Do you still subscribe to any PRINT magazines?
-
If not, what was the last one that you let go......
-
Great test results, DR John G.
-
Down to a Nubbin is the title of my next something-or-other.
-
In the meanwhile, have a
flower cupcake.
-
My question for ASK BK DAY:
Do you still subscribe to any PRINT magazines?
I do not. I used to subscribe to tons of stuff in the 1970s.
-
I just received a Facebook Message from someone with whom I did ONE show in 1989......he is in Florida after moving from Arizona and is moving back to Indiana and wonders if he could move in with me.
I had to pass on the opportunity, but wished him good luck.
He wasn't even THAT good looking in 1989.
-
Good afternoon!
-
Sorry to hear about your accident, DR vixmom.
-
Down to a Nubbin is the title of my next something-or-other.
What’s your point?
-
My Facebook home page seems to be stuck on April 3. There's been no change since ^:30 this morning, and there's a message from Facebook at the top of the page: You're All Caught Up For Now
-
I've pulled out of the Vegas thing.
:o
-
Gratuitous post 101!
-
Shouldn’t we be on page six by now?
-

LOL. I can though where he might think you would want a roommate, if he was offering money.
-
It sure is quiet here.
-
Bruce were you going to fly to Vegas or drive?
-
Fly. They're trying to get me to reconsider just coming on Tuesday to speak - I could fly in at noon and leave by six.
-
Thinking about that.
-
Good afternoon.

Fly. They're trying to get me to reconsider just coming on Tuesday to speak - I could fly in at noon and leave by six.
So flights hadn't been booked?
-
Fly. They're trying to get me to reconsider just coming on Tuesday to speak - I could fly in at noon and leave by six.
That sounds like a good option.
-
Thinking about that.
Do you know many people who will be there that you would like to see?
-
My question for ASK BK DAY:
Do you still subscribe to any PRINT magazines?
If not, what was the last one that you let go......
I was a charter subscriber to The Sondheim Review, and back in the '90s, I subscribed to TV Guide and the national Playbill.

Oh, my!
-
It has been a lovely evening for my short after dinner walk.
-
Tomorrow should be even nicer. I took a photo of the restaurant we are eating at tomorrow night with Keith's cousin, the one on the river near us. People were sitting outside on the patio. I then sent her the photo.
-
I can only make reservations for inside, patio seating will only be if there is an open table for us.
-
I am not sure how much, if any, posting time I will have until Monday.
-
'night
-
I still subscribe to most of the classical record review magazines: Gramophone, Fanfare, American Record Guide, BBC Music.
-
Have you heard about the new remake?
-
At long last - FIVE!
-
Good night, friends.
-
No, I hadn't actually booked the flight because the gal arranging things hadn't responded to texts in over two days and had been so weird and overemotional when we'd spoken on Sunday that I became very uncomfortable.
-
Pointless, I mean.
That isn't true at all. You use periods at the end of all your sentences!
-
Still watching outtakes from Say Amen, Somebody. There were plenty of rehearsals with the Barrett Sisters, and it was wonderful watching them work out their harmonies as well as their approach to the lyrics.

:))
-
Hi, George.
-
I'm running out of steam.
-
Good night, all.
-
Watched some Netflix stuff, had McDonald's for lunch and I think it'll now be another six months to a year before I need any more of it, and some ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery later. Needed to cleanse the palate, if you get my meaning.
-
Hi, George.
Hi, John.
-
Good night, all.
Bye, John.
-
I'm home after stopping at my sister's to return her car.
-
Then we signed a sympathy card for our aunt. :(
-
Her son, my cousin Fred, died a couple of weeks ago from cancer.
-
I guess it was a very fast growing cancer and he didn't have a lot of time to try and deal with it.
-
I remember him from when we were kids, but I haven't seen him since then.
-
Listening to Rossini and shall now write some notes.
-

What exactly was your relationship when he was previously in Indiana?
-

Brent isn’t one of those sisters is he?
-
Her son, my cousin Fred, died a couple of weeks ago from cancer.
I am so sorry, George.
-
Thanks, Tom. I didn't really know him, but I did know my aunt and my thoughts and sympathy are for her. :-\
-
Temperature over 70 degrees tomorrow in Puyallup.
-
On Friday, the temps will drop, at least, twenty degrees.
-
Tonight, we staged the last couple of songs and the last scene of Mamma Mia!, but without Donna and the Dynamos...they were off in the lobby learning the choreography to "Super Trouper."
-
I just got a notification from our Mamma Mia! Facebook group that the video of them performing the choreography was uploaded.
-
They did pretty well for only having just learned it.
-
I don't know how much I'll actually be on stage.
-
I know that pretty much everyone will sing on every song, but sometimes only the main characters will be on stage...there will be some off-stage singing.
