Well, you're read the notes, the notes had more, and now it is time for you to post until the more cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: TITIVATE!
-
I'll bet if you put that word on Facebook you'd be thrown in Facebook jail.
-
I just looked up Barbara Feldon's IMDb page (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0271156/?ref_=tt_cl_t_2), and she's still alive! She's going to turn 90 next March! Who knew??
-
Good morning, HHW!
-
TOD:
Luden’s Wild Cherry Cough Drops.
They tasted like candy. 😋
-
Good morning, all!
-
The alarm rang at 5:30 but I lay there, to the cats;' consternation, for another 30 minutes. I'm moving, but I'm very tired.
-
Good morning, Larry.
There is a strange grey frog on my balcony.
-
I’m also tired.
I need some cats to motivate me.
-
I loved Vick's cherry cough drops, but my memory is that we usually had battered boxes of Smith Brothers cherry cough drops in our pockets.
-
How is Annabelle feeling this morning?
-
Oh, right, I forgot.
I loved ALL cherry cough drops. 😊
-
My neighbor Ann stopped by last night and scanned the interlude sketch, which I finished yesterday afternoon. Now that the sketch is in the conductor's hands, I can return to orchestrating the overture.
-
How is Annabelle feeling this morning?
She's quiet this morning, thanks for asking. I've been worried about her because she's not eating as much as I think she should be, and several days a week shev wanders about the apartment cryinh. I don't know if she's in pain or complaining about my housekeeping these days.
-
Our East Coast heat wave seems to be over. For now.
I am thankful.
-
Does Annabelle react to changes in the weather or barometric pressure?
I hope her appetite improves.
It really is like taking care of children, for those who have not lived with cats.
-
On to orchestrating the overture, dear Larry.
I am contemplating a nap.
Have been up all night.
-
So…
Good morning and Good night.
Will be back later.
-

I've never noticed that but it's likely because I'm clueless. I do feel like a lot of the time I'm running a kindergarten wirth these three babies running around wanting, attention, getting into things they should not, squabbling, and ignoring me.
-

Have been up all night.
Have a wonderful day!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Jean-Luc Godard has died. I liked some of his movies. I was not a fan of him as a person.
-
But I will likely watch one of his movies tonight.
-
Breathless?
-
Wishing you a wonderful day too, Larry!
-
Good morning, all.
-
I need to watch some Godard. Can’t do it today, but soon. I’d probably pick Breathless for a tribute watch, but I also have some other Criterions here that need watching. So, we’ll see.
-
I hope Annabelle is fine. It is so hard sometimes, or even impossible, to know what they want or need.
-
I'll bet if you put that word on Facebook you'd be thrown in Facebook jail.
That, and TITTUP from Spelling Bee.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Looky Loo! Page Two!

Hello, 1 Guest.
-
Do you have pets?
-
It is the day of the gazelle and the night of the iguana.
-
And a fine kettle of what is it fish.

;;;30My 9:00-11 delivery from Amazon Fresh arrived a little past 8:30. which is good since I need to get to the basement and mailroom but I didn't want to be down there while I was waiting on a delivery. This is the third and final delivery this from them, and this one was correct, nothingf missing. And, for the first time since probably June, I have a well-stocked larder.
-
I am very grateful.
-
And the cats have plenty of playthings.
-
TOD: I don't know about growing up, but these days I'm very partial to the Ricola lemon-mint drops.
-
Breathless?
Maybe his musical, Woman Is Woman.
-
TOD:
I don’t remember cough drops when I was a kid actually helping with coughs. They were candies.
-
Then Hall’s came in and everything changed.
-
DR JANE posted some lovely swan photos yesterday.
I also enjoyed the polkageist from DR singdaw.
-
I remember using the Smith Brothers cherry cough drops - but now and then we also had the Luden's Wild Cherry.
I think the Luden's had more sugar or something because they seemed less medicine-y......
-
Show vibes and casting vibes for MR BK.
Call my agent....Manny Levine at the Kiss O' Death Agency on Willshire.

In junior high school, while I was in 9th grade, cough drops somehow became hugely popular with a bunch of us. That might be because the tiny shop at the school sold a few kinds of them, so replenishing was quick and easy, but I have no idea how the whole thing started. They were our candy. I wonder if kids elsewhere have gone through that.
I haven’t had a traditional cough drop in decades, but my favorites then are exactly the ones I’d want to try now, to experience those flavors again: Luden’s Honey Licorice and Wild Cherry, and Smith Brothers Wild Cherry and Black Licorice. I could be forgetting some, but those always come immediately to mind. I branched out for a bit with Vicks’ mentholated, and the menthol became an annoying irritation after a while. Actually, to this day, I find myself kind of repelled by menthol in anything. I can deal with it, but I still find it annoying and I always think back to that cough drop binge.
It’s funny how they all had to change to being called “throat drops” at some point. They’ll always be cough drops to me.

Hugh Jackman is leaving The Music Man, so the show is closing.
-
Waiting for my kidney doctor.
-
Well, the nurse actually.
-
Good morning!

Wordle: 4/6

Hugh Jackman is leaving The Music Man, so the show is closing.
That's too bad.
-
It was a physician’s assistant. All that happened was my November appointments have been moved up to next week.
-
Can I go home now?
-
DR JANE posted some lovely swan photos yesterday.
Thank you.

That's good and frustrating at the same time.
-
A portion of an online training course I was taking just touched on diagramming sentences. It took me back to 4th grade.
-
Except that I am enjoying it more now than I did then.
-
In a geeky sort of way.
-
Three.
-
And still 1 Guest.
-
Our Guest is tenacious.
-
Our Guest has grit.

Our Guest is sticking it out.
-
Sticking the landing, as it were.
-
What is all this nonsense?
-
Darned if I know.
-
Darned socks, too.
-
But a stitch in time saves nine.
-
So they say.
-
They say a lot of things.
-
As do I.
-
Perhaps I should be more circumspect.
-
Harold Hill is leaving town after all.
-
On Broadway, that is.
-
Perhaps they have depleted the market of people willing to mortgage their home for an evening of theatre.
-
Or theeder, as those in the know say it.
-
And aren't we all in the know?
-
Who knew?
-
Stopping now.
-
In a geeky sort of way.
;D
-
Perhaps they have depleted the market of people willing to mortgage their home for an evening of theatre.
:))
-
We diagrammed sentences once. It was toward the end of third grade. It was beyond our teacher’s limited abilities, so we never did it again.
-
I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep - certainly could have slept another two.
-
Can I go home now?
You have my permission, John. ;D

Very good news, Larry!

Wordle and Phoodle in 5.

Let’s move on …
-
Four!
-
I’m 89% through The Ink Black Heart. Hope to finish it up today.
-
Helper has come and gone, so perks will be shipping out soon.
-
It's time to feed Thatch and Stella; Annabelle is hiding away in one of the closets frm which she will emerge around 4:230 scrteaming and moaning for dinner.
-
I had a nice bath, received an overly generous, early birthday gift in the post, and now I'm pondering what I would like for dinner.
-
Jackman's leaving The Music Man? I had good friends who love the show, and they hated him, said he was miscast, and was never the character. I thought the casting of the leads stank but i'm sorry soem friends will bne out of work.
-
I just had a loverly telephonic discussion with our Moonshine & Mistletoe producer, Kevin Duda. Things are afoot!
-
Good news, Elmore. Good, good news.
-
Not sure about Kelly Clarkson. But I did like parts of this Sondheim.

Gratuitous post 99!

Hoo and Ray!!

Very good news, DR elmore3003.

:)
I love this.
-
My first cataract surgery is scheduled for Oct.17, at 3:30pm.
-
We had a nice visit with a friend at one of her favorite restaurants in the Portland area.
-
We ate on the patio which turned out to be just a space created on the sidewalk next to the street. It did have pretty lights and plants to make it cheerful, however our table had me facing the wall while the back door kept opening and slamming shut behind Keith.
-
The menu excited us before we went. Unfortunately neither of us liked the food.
-
I had the house made bean burger which was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. That wouldn't have been a problem if I could have smothered it in good thousand island dressing and eaten it on a tasty bun. Except the bun was mediocre and the dressing was terrible.
-
My favorite cough drops were cherry Pine Brothers. Sometimes I had the honey ones.

-
I also liked Luden's.

-
For awhile I was ordering Pine Brothers on line.
-
We still buy Luden's cherry.
-

A bean burger is a very different animal in San Antonio. Here it’s a regular burger topped with refried beans, Fritos, slivers of jalapeño (optional), onions and Cheez Whiz. I like it with salsa.
-
Bean burgers used to be available everywhere. They’re a rarity these days.

Cheeze Whiz :o :P
-
I guess that explains why I never had a been burger in San Antonio, but then why would I when I could have my fill of spinach enchiladas ;)
-
The spinach enchilada I had with you was so good I think I only ordered it one other time.
-
The Muppets Take Manhattan is leading off the TCM line.....followed by two THUNDERBIRDS movies.....which I shall probably watch.
It's puppet night on TCM.
-
Right now I am using the Hall's Sugar Free Honey & Lemon cough drops.....I usually take a few whenever I leave the house.
For some reason my partial lower dental plate makes my mouth dry....so I pop in a Hall's when that starts to happen.
-
Barnum seems to be getting better. I think he is starting to get his winter time feathers, so he has been sleeping a lot the last few days.
-
Page Five.
-
Good news from DR ELMORE.
And yes, some cats seem especially sensitive to changes in the barometer.....
-
Stumble-through was loads of fun - a couple of lyric flubs and a couple of tempo issues, just minor stuff that we fixed when we finished.
-
I tried to order McDonald's but it says not available at the time you wish (now) and then it says next available order - tomorrow. What a joke DoorDash is sometimes. So, I ordered a cheeseburger and hot dog from Tommy's.

I am sorry, I missed your post that he wasn't well. I am glad he seems to be better. May he be back to normal soon.

Time for Une Femme est une femme, Godard’s original musical with Anna Karina and Jean-Paul Belmondo. Original score by Michel Legrand.
-
And another dose of good news from DR elmore3003.
-
And DR Jrand72 as well.
-
Almost everywhere I go, I see the option of a beef burger, a turkey burger, or a bean burger on the menu.
-
It sounds like the next Kritzerland is going to be swell.
-
They say you learn something new every day.
-
Today I have learned about the great variety of cough drops that are available.
-
Who knew?
-
I am pondering the amazingly great number of songs that use the word "MORE," today's topic title, in their title.
-
Good night, friends.
-
'night
-
The menu excited us before we went. Unfortunately neither of us liked the food.
That's too bad. :-\
-
I arrived at rehearsal about 5 minutes late, but others were having costume fittings, so it was okay.
-
Well, in true Godard fashion, this movie is an anti musical. Songs or melodies are interrupted.
And despite it all, Anna Karina is magnetic.
-
Finished with my viewing.
-
I love both Leden’s and Smith Brothers Wild Cherry cough drops. Sometimes I have to settle for Smith Broths Licorice, depending what my mom bought at the store.
-
Funny, I remember always having them with me thru junior high school (along with everybody else at school); but I never remember having them when I got to high school.
-
In high school we moved on to other things.
…cover up their tell-tale breath with Sen-Sen
-
I tried to order McDonald's but it says not available at the time you wish (now) and then it says next available order - tomorrow. What a joke DoorDash is sometimes. So, I ordered a cheeseburger and hot dog from Tommy's.
Did I deliver?
-
That is all I can type in one evening.
-
Tonight's A Murder is Announced rehearsal went well.
-
We just staged (or brushed up) a couple of scenes.
-
Only five of us were called tonight, and I'm not called tomorrow.
-
No rehearsal was scheduled for Thursday, so everyone knew that they had the night off.
-
PAGE SIX DANCE!!
-
Tomorrow (Wednesday), I'm taking the day off to Buckle Down Winsocki and work on my lines.
-
I had recorded the original read-through, so I'm going to take that and edit it down to just my scenes so that I can listen to them at work.
-
The whole read-through took about two hours, so my parts will be about half that...give or take.
-
That should be enough for me to listen to it two or maybe three times each day at work.
-
I've never done that before, but there are so many lines in this role that I need to try another technique to help memorize.
-
Since I'll be home all day, I also might go to lunch with my friend Shelly, since she's a neighbor. :)
-
Anytime I see the word MORE, all I can think of is MONDO CANE.
-
You did deliver.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are notes.
-
I saw them.
-
There they were, like so much fish.
-
I kid you not.
-
I not you kid.
