Well, you've read the notes, the notes were mysterious and in both the key of E and G, and now it is time for you to post until the mysterious cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: INTERLOCUTOR!
-
Topic of the Day: I've never really followed any trial. I remember when the OJ Simpson trial was on, some co-workers were following it, and a bunch of us listened to the verdict at work when it was being read, but otherwise, I didn't follow everything that was going on.
-
Tonight, we start our second weekend of A Murder is Announced! I've been going over my lines so that I don't (hopefully) make any more goobers. My mom and her friends are coming on Sunday, and my friend Shelly and her cousin might come tonight. We'll see if they're able to make it. Tonight is Pay-What-You-Can and tickets can't be purchased online, so they'd have to hie themselves to Centralia and buy them in person, so I don't know if they'll be there tonight or not.
-
And I just found out from our private FB page that we have a public promo video! :D

Good morning, Dear Readers!
I am still in eyeball limbo with my left eye, which does not yet seem ready tov focus. It’s very happy seeing long distance, but things in reading range and a computer screen are difficult. I can’t even read my mail! Also, this one-lens pair of glasses is rather unnerving since I actually see better without them. When I wear them, I have a lot of double vision, which leaves me feeling clumsy and very cautious.
This morning Joshie is coming by to pick up the score for the overture and scan art so I can send it to England. I look forward to his visit. More tomorrow!
-
Hang in there, DR elmore3003!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Cool video, DR George. Very creative.
-
Sorry yesterday was difficult, BK.

-
Good morning, all.
-
Oh man. Yesterday's shoot sounds like a supreme challenge.
-
Vibes for DR Elmore finding the right balance for his eyes through this interim period.
I once temporarily wore a pair of glasses with one lens (this was some 40 years ago) when one of the lenses had popped out and gotten damaged, and I more or less managed okay at home but I could never have gone out and done anything. The disparity between the two eyes and the double vision were enormous.
-
Good morning, all.
-
It felt good to sleep in my old bed again.
-
Vision vibes for Elmore.
-
Great photos in the notes. Sorry the shoot proved to be a problem. Vibes for the last day going smoothly.

TOD:
My first job post-bachelor’s degree was covering trials for the Associated Press. One was of a batch of Kentucky government officials involved in fraud, and the prosecution won by proving all of the documents had been created after the fact An analysis of the ink showed it hadn’t been introduced on the market at the so-called date of the signings. Fascinating stuff in the 1980s.
-
Good morning.
-
I was a court reporter. The hearings going on now on zoom are a circus.
-
TOD2:
Another was a trial of a flashy horse farm queen known for her lavish derby parties. She got off. The trial was more about her wardrobe, which she was said to have borrowed because she didn’t have anything suitable to wear to court.

Well, one out of three ain't too bad.

I want to be a flamboyant night club owner-socialite!

Oh my the notes!!! Yes, there's always one of those days.....
SUPERVIBES for MR BK & Co.
It's too bad we all don't have a cardboard cutout of ourselves to send MR BK to put in the audience.
-
Continued vibes for DR ELMORE - the Pirate of HHW.
-
TOD:
The trial of murderous liar and sociopath-psychopath Jodi Arias.
She got life without possibility of parole. And in her final statement which her lawyer begged her not to make, she admits that her victim was alive when she slit his throat.

As MR BK said - Darrell starts his defense today and it will be bad.
The judge told him yesterday that his Opening Statement was not an argument but a road map of what his witnesses were going to present....I'm sure he didn't understand and will start his foolish arguments as soon as he stands up.....it might be entertaining for awhile.

I just got a call from the doctor's office asking for my Humana information....I have a Gold Medicare supplement plan.
The fool woman told me she needed the information because I didn't have Medicare anymore.....I told her that was not possible......
It was a terrible phone conversation. I had asked at the office on Friday if my Humana information was in the system and the girl at the office said yes.....someone is wrong....and I don't think it's me.
I gave her the Humana information. DOES a supplement like that REPLACE Medicare? I never heard of such a thing. I know they go to Humana first and then Medicare usually covers most of the rest....this crazy.

Amazing!

Well, one out of three ain't too bad.
Or, one out of four. ;)
-
Something I hate with so many regional theeder video promos:
When it's a musical, and the audio is papered with the original cast recording (or even worse, the movie soundtrack) -- while we're seeing images of the actual cast rehearsing/playing the show.
I find that to be [something, I dunno] - tacky? schlocky? unprofessional? provincial? ignorant? - in the extreme.
-
I'm up, I'm up - very rough night - maybe I got five hours of sleep.
-
Quelle debacle!
I was in the chair, hooked up, IV inserted and ready for surgery.
The doctor then told me he reccommended we cancel because my blood pressure was too high. And it was. I was anxious and uncomfortable in the chair. I cannot explain why I felt so miserable because I knew I wouldn't feel a thing or even be aware of the procedure being done.
The recommendation was to share my readings (BP and heartbeat chart) with my primary care doctor. They thought that I might require a mild sedative before doing the procedured on a new schedule, but they want me to have all checked out.
And yesterday, I was ACES high with my cardiologist.
Damn my anxious nature!!
-
I shall now be on my way to Vitello's for this morning's shoot.
-
JRand, I hope you get everything straightened out.
-
Lower BP vibes for Ron.
-
Wow, DR Ron Pulliam.
I've suspected that kind of last minute cancellation could happen to me due to high blood pressure, but it hasn't.
It was, however, the way I got started on BP medication in the first place some 14 years ago. I was at my doctor's for a pre-op checkup prior to a minor surgical procedure, and he identified me as a sufferer of WCS (White Coat Syndrome), as well as someone for whom it was time to start on BP medication. Fortunately, with a few modifications to the prescription over the years, it has benefited me well -- even in those WCS situations, which never ceases to amaze me.
-
From DR TCB:
I was referred to their website where they list all of their ingredients.
I suppose then that any kind of variation is not permitted, and would not be admitted to if they did slightly add or change the ingredients.
I have found sometimes a combination of ingredients will bother me where alone they are ok.
-
DR Ron I didn't realize you need a motorized cart when shopping, or a least at Costco which is very big.
-

I would also be confused by the call. We had Humana for awhile and with it two cards to present. With our current insurance we only use the insurance card, not Medicare.
-
DR Jrand72 - the answer is: it depends. It's quite complicated.
-
DR Jrand is it possible the doctor's office will no longer be accepting Medicare unless it is Medicare Advantage? That is why we had to switch.

-
Sorry about your appointment, DR Ron Pulliam.

Thanks DR singdaw and DR JANE.
I will await another call if there is one....and then talk to the office at my next appointment which should be with another doctor in the network next month.
I just checked my status and my Medicare is active....so I don't know what the heck she was talking about.

Darrell Brooks will give his opening statement when the lunch break is over.....
-
Hello, everyone! I've zoomed in as much as I can, and the print is still blurry but decipherable. I really have nothing to report. I spend the day watching TV with the cats, then do my eye drops every four hours. Joshie's visit this morning was a welcome change.

For excitement yesterday, I emptied the3 vacuum bag and vacuumed the floor. TYoday I ran CleanMyMac and filled my laundry card. I really miss reading.

We got our new covid vaccinations this morning. Fingers crossed that, once again, we do not have a reaction with Pfizer.
I feel kind of yucky and am getting a headache. Even when I had a reaction with Moderna it wasn't that fast. I blame our terrible air quality here.

I have never spent much time watching a trial, just bits here and there.

I watched part of the O.J. Simpson trial.

I watched enough of the William Kennedy Smith trial to realize the prosecuting team was inept and he was going to get away with rape.

I remember reading about trials when I was younger.

I especially liked My Life in Court by Louis Nizer.
