Well, you've read the notes, the notes gained an hour, and now it is time for you to post until the gaining an hour cows come home.
-
STUNNING!
-
Today, I'm working concessions at the Washington Center, for the fall season concert for Student Orchestra of Greater Olympia (aka SOGO).
-
They're students, but they're very good musicians. It's always a good concert.
-
Call time for that is 2:15 pm, but before that, I need to be at my sister's to participate in a Skype/Zoom/video chat call with our cousin and his wife who live in Oregon. I think I need to get to my sister's by noon, so I need to get some sleep tonight. After concessions, I'll probably text my friend Shelly to see what she might be up to. And that's my day. :)
-
Good morning, all!
-
I had a nice long sleep which was wonderful. Faithful Annabelle stayed at my side for most of the night. I woke around 4:00, but she was no longer with me. About 10 minutes later she jumped back into bed and under the blankets . Stellas stopped by, but she started fighting with Thatch, and she preferred to play with him rather than settle down for a doze with me.
-
I hope to finish my orchestration today, God and cats permitting.
-
My three pairs of reading glasses arrived from Amazon yesterday. I put one pair on my nightstand, one at the computer, and the third at my worktable. So, last night I got a nice deal of reading accomplished. I've got a pile of books to go through.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I'm up early for a Sunday, regardless of which time setting we're in.
-
Today is, of course, the most challenging day of the year if you have cats.
-
Mikey is absolutely certain it is 8:20, and he's announcing it to the world.
-
You can probably hear it from where you are.
-
Looks like two more days of spring-like weather before the cold returns on Tuesday.
-
I took it real easy all day yesterday and got rid of whatever had been ailing me. Had to have been allergies.
-
Back to rehearsal this evening.
And tomorrow evening. And Tuesday. And Wednesday. And so on.
-
You can probably hear it from where you are.
I was wondering where that cat was….
-
I have rarely remembered any dreams for years.
-
Since we bought this new bed I’ve been having vivid dreams.
-
I wonder if I’ve not been having proper REM sleep all these years
-
DR vixmom, is your dream determined by your sleep number?
-
Dial 56 for dreams about flying....
-
Good morning, friends.
-
I am feeling quite rested this morning though
-
Chewy really wants me to buy this llama for my cats.
-
Or at least this tissue holder.
-
But instead, I might just buy this seasonal candle.
-
But still wondering about the confusing dream involving a former work place and a former boyfriend ( who never actually had anything to do with one another)
-
Not from Chewy.
-
DR vixmom, is your dream determined by your sleep number?
Hmmmmm, maybe
-
And DR vixmom brought us to page two!
-
Go, you!
-
I really like the fact that we can elevate the head of the bed, that slight incline makes a world of difference
-
I went to bed with a backache and woke without one
-
More snow predicted here for Thu/Fri.
-
The exact opposite of usual
-
I went to bed with a backache and woke without one
Good news, indeed. And much much better than the other way around.
-
I would say no to the candle
-
NO!!!! To the tissue box
-
I did some Googling to see if we could answer DR John G.'s question about which volume(s?) of Carols for a Cure Aaron Carter appeared on. But to no avail.
-
Maybe to the llama
-
It’s kinda cute
-
SNOW????!!!
-
You're so
picky discriminating, DR vixmom. :)
-
It was in the low 70’s here yesterday, and we’re expecting mid 70’s today
-
You're so picky discriminating, DR vixmom. :)
;)
-
Jest tryin’ ta be hepful
-
Hmmmm, maybe I shall Wordle
-
Then shower and wander churchward
-
Don’t worry, I’ll dress between the showering and wandering
-
Good morning.
-
Hello, DR Laura.
-
Good morning, all. I fell asleep on top of my bed with all the lights my computer on...yet, again. ::)
-
I did some Googling to see if we could answer DR John G.'s question about which volume(s?) of Carols for a Cure Aaron Carter appeared on. But to no avail.
Broadway Cares (https://broadwaycares.org/about-broadway-cares-equity-fights-aids/) sells all the "Carols for a Cure" CDs here:
https://broadwaycares.stores.yahoo.net/caforcucds.html (https://broadwaycares.stores.yahoo.net/caforcucds.html)
But they don't specify which performers are on the recordings.
-
Most of the volumes are on iTunes, as well.
-
And some of the albums are even on YouTube.

Since we have an extra hour of posting today, we should get to at least page twenty.
-
Well, I need to get back to bed so that I can wake up in a few hours.
Have a good day, all!

Oh I got distracted and forgot to Wordle

I broke down and bought a Powerball ticket for last night's drawing.
-
And I won!
-
$24
-
So I guess I'll be retiring now.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Happy retirement, Singdaw.
-
The extra hours of sleep I’ve had over the past two dsys have been a big help.
-
Had strange dreams about having to attend a call-in session at work and no one shows up. Midway through, they change the rules and announce that if no one asks a question, we’ll have to do it again and again until someone does.
-
DR singdaw's been retired for nearly an hour now. I think it would be nice if he could find the time to pop in for a moment to let us know how it's going and what he's been up to.
-
Hello everyone....happy Sunday! There's a new Broadway Radio Show up on the site for your listening pleasure. This week I am chatting with actor/singer Sean Patrick Murtagh all about his new album The Mario 101 based on his MAC Award winning show. We discuss all things Mario Lanza! Quite a fun conversation, and, of course, plenty of music. Check it out!

-
Thank you, DR Donald.
-
DR ChasSmith: I am quite busy trying to corner the market on cat-butt kleenex dispensers.
-
It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it.
-
Good morning!

Sorry to hear about your canceled trip, DR Jane.

Now that he's retired, he's busier than ever!
-
Well, the minister's son was sick during Trunk or Treat. My grandson got it. Now I've got it.
-
I got it from Agnes is running through my head now.
-
I am sorry, DR Laura.
-
Also extending sympathy again to DR Jane.

I Went To Bed With Something And Woke Up Without It
That is the title of the middle volume of my memoirs.
-
Since I like to use the mower to mulch instead of raking my leaves....I decided today was the day.
It took two and one half hours......and it is not the BEST job - but it is done.
-
I watched SEE HOW THEY RUN last night. It was most enjoyable. I thought it was a version of the play with all the vicars - but it was an original about a murder among the cast/crew/staff of The Mousetrap in London in 1953.
I was introduced to many young performers whose names I have read - and now I can put faces to them.
-
Show vibes for MR BK and Co.
-
Rehearsal vibes for DR CHAS SMITH.
-
So - what is the top speed on the speedometer in your car?
The Smart Car has a top speed of 90 mph.
The PT Cruiser has a top speed of 115 mph.
I have not come close to either speed in either car.
The car that I have driven with the TOP speed is my brother's 1959 Thunderbird - 140 MPH. And I think that car might have really been able to reach it.
-
Mario Lanza!!!!

Wordle 4, Phoodle 3.

Mario Lanza!!!!
A topical unguent might be able to take care of that.
-
Gratuitous post 101!
-
DR George, it makes sense to me that you kept the unopened package of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, not that I personally would want to eat them as I am not a fan. They aren't bad, just nothing special to me.
-
This morning we had a video chat with Bryan & Freyja. Then the went to the firetruck museum without us :(
-
Dial 56 for dreams about flying....
If only :)
-
I'm up, I'm up - up at eleven. Was in bed for nine hours, no issues - can't say I slept nine hours and actually have no idea how much I slept.
-
I am feeling quite rested this morning though
Have you finished tweaking your bed? What number are you sleeping on?
-
Chewy really wants me to buy this llama for my cats.
It is cute.
-
Or at least this tissue holder.
No thank you ;D
-
If we got another cat I wanted one of the Star Trek cat trees.

I really like the fact that we can elevate the head of the bed, that slight incline makes a world of difference
Last night I wish I had the control to raise our bed. I was hurting from the garlic dressing last night and couldn't sleep. Elevating the bed a bit might have helped.
-
I finished my chart. My neighbor Ann stopped by to check in. She and Jen have been in Connecticut all weekend. Jen's father had a serious heart attack last Wednesday.
-
I went to bed with a backache and woke without one
Wonderful.
-
I'm having pizza and mozzarella-tomato salad for dinner. Can't wait!

Well, the minister's son was sick during Trunk or Treat. My grandson got it. Now I've got it.
Oh no, and you were outside. What did you catch?
-
Also extending sympathy again to DR Jane.
Thank you.
-
DR Laura, vibes you feel better super fast.
-
Sorry to hear about your canceled trip, DR Jane.
Thank you.
Jane, I am so sorry to hear about your trip being postponed.
-
No time set for my first surgery. Whenever it happens, I will be trapped at home for four weeks. No lifting of anything over five pounds. That means no taking my scooter or wheelchair apart or back together for the entire 4 weeks.
-
No Thanksgiving, and maybe another year of no Christmas.
-

Jane, I am so sorry to hear about your trip being postponed.

-
"Are you finished tweaking on your bed." I misread that as "Are you finished twerking on your bed, which is also the title of my next novel.

Sorry about not being able to use your scooter. If someone picks you up and folds your scooter can you then go out? How will you do your follow up visit with the doctor?
-
No Thanksgiving, and maybe another year of no Christmas.
Oh no, I hope not.

:))
-
Since I'm not sure there'll be food after rehearsal, I'm having a bagel, cream cheese, and lox. That will tide me over until after the concert.
-
And I don't care who knows it.
-
Including me.
-
Vibes for DF Jen’s father.
-
Vibes for DR Laura.
-
We did the Wobble last night. I told the folks to twerk it. I got a few stares from the newcomers.
-
I guess I’m not a twerking type.
-
Finishing Ali & Ava, an independent British film. Reminds me a lot of the indies I watched back in the day. A little Mike Leigh, a little Ken Loach. Great performances, no easy answers.
-
And it doesn’t wear out its welcome.
-

And now, I must be off to the Washington Center again...this time for concessions.
Be back later. :)
-
On to something ridiculous: Bing Crosby and Kitty Carlisle in Here Is My Heart, a schmaltzy bit of nonsense relieved only by Bing’s singing. Kitty’s singing ain’t so hot.
-
I shall now be on my way to rehearse and then do a concert.
-
Vixmom, I didn’t realize David Zayas from Dexter was in the cast of Cost of Living. How was he?
-
The concert has started and I'm staying out in the lobby.
-
I can hear it, and there's a video monitor so that I can see it, if I want to.
-
...but I don't need to. ::)
;)
-
Onward!
-
Six!
-
It is dark and wet outside, no evening walk for me.
-
The intermission is over, the concessions stuff is put away, and now I'm at Applebee's to use the gift certificate that I got for myself, and to read my Kindle.
-
It feels much later, of course ;D
-
Keith is going to pop corn and we will watch a movie beginning earlier than usual.
-
Since neither of us slept later this morning we had better start watching early. We might want to crash early.
-
'night
-
Watching a Christopher Lee movie called The Whip and the Body. It’s as cheesy as it sounds. And it becomes a ghost story in a bit.
-
Vixmom, I didn’t realize David Zayas from Dexter was in the cast of Cost of Living. How was he?
He was so good. The play starts out with him.doing a 10.minute monologue. I felt as if he were talking directly to me.
Afterwards I heard several.others making that comment to their companions
-
Although the production didn't treat any person as the lead, to me his character was the heart and soul of the piece and he really did the part justice.
-
Thank you, Vixmom.
-
I forgot Topper and Topper Returns from my ghost list yesterday. How did that happen?
-
The Whip and the Body. Wow. And not in a good way.
-
With extra cheese.
-
Cheese? I'm in.
-
And I'm out.
-
Good night, friends.
-
I'm home after eating too much, but it was all very good.
-
Well, there's still hope: Powerball jackpot grows to record $1.9 billion as no tickets matched all winning numbers Saturday (https://amp-cnn-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2022/11/05/us/powerball-world-record-breaking-lottery-jackpot-saturday/index.html?amp_gsa=1&_js_v=a9&usqp=mq331AQIKAGwASCAAgM%3D#amp_tf=From%20%251%24s&aoh=16677825887126&csi=0&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&share=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cnn.com%2F2022%2F11%2F05%2Fus%2Fpowerball-world-record-breaking-lottery-jackpot-saturday%2Findex.html).

Back from an exhausting but really fun concert. More in the notes. Must eat something.
-
I really must.
-
Eat something.
-
No time set for my first surgery. Whenever it happens, I will be trapped at home for four weeks. No lifting of anything over five pounds. That means no taking my scooter or wheelchair apart or back together for the entire 4 weeks.
Sorry about not being able to use your scooter. If someone picks you up and folds your scooter can you then go out? How will you do your follow up visit with the doctor?
I guess someone will have to pick me up - depending on the weather.
-
Since I'm not sure there'll be food after rehearsal, I'm having a bagel, cream cheese, and lox. That will tide me over until after the concert.
Lox?? That is as bad as eating salmon.
-
And now, I must be off to the Washington Center again...this time for concessions.
Be back later. :)
Couldn’t you just buy some at 7-11?
-
Is there some way we can just skip Tuesday?
-
Jacki, I am sorry you didn’t care for MY POLICEMAN. It is based on a true story.
-
I'm home after eating too much, but it was all very good.
I am glad you could stick around and post.

I could, but not enough to serve to over 400 people! ;)

New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I wrote 'em, I've read 'em, I've posted 'em.

Who'll read them?
-
Who will buy?
-
This wonderful morning.
