Well, you're read the notes, the notes were both rushin' and Russian, and now it is time for you to post until the Russian cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: WAGGISH!

Topic of the Day: the recently received 2-CD deluxe edition of Melissa Errico's "Legrand Affair (https://castalbums.org/recordings/Legrand-Affair-2011-Melissa-Errico/23724#64942)."

Wow I replicated George’s results
-
Good morning, all!
-
I had a long, long night. I went to bed around 8:45, slept well, woke and looked at the clock; it said 10:30! I went back to bed, slept for hours, woke at 2:00. I then took two more Tylenol and went back to sleep. Thatch stayed with me all night, but he was in a frisky mood. He's now discovered the joys of crawling under the blankets and playing Floyd Collins.
-
O'm taking another ME day, staying off my feet as much as possible.

.

Back to work today
Glad you're feeling up to it today!

Go clean up your room.

Love the Shostakovich symphonies.
-
I'd like to give another listen to the 24 Preludes and Fugues.
-
And then there are the string quartets.
-
Busy guy, that Shostakovich.
-
I wonder if Shostakovich ever drank Shasta?
-
I wonder if anyone ever drank Shasta whilst listening to the "Theme from Shaft"?
-
Has anyone ever told you not to make a theme in public?
-
Has anyone ever told you not to make a theme in public?
Here in New York, that could be the "Theme from New York, New York."
-
I wonder if Shostakovich ever drank Shasta?
LOL!
-
I have had a Shasta cola.
-
Glad to hear that DR ELMORE is feeling better.

We have HHW'ers in Ireland & Greece!
We are international.
-
Today is a day off from OKLAHOMA! So I am doing nothing.....although I will soon begin writing the stories for the upcoming events.....3 things happening within 7 days......
-
DR George, is this King in Yellow a play by a local writer? I knew the title from my forays into Victorian-Edwardian horror and ghost stories, but the only ghostly play of the last forty years that I know is The Woman ui Black, wich may still be running in London but flopped rapidly in New York.
-
.
That shrimp (for National Shrimp Day) still has its head on it!
The head tastes great.
-
Good afternoon, all.
-
Busy guy, that Shostakovich.
I like his film and ballet scores as well as his orchestration of "Tea for Two."
-
Opening night vibes for George and company

Made it to Crete. It's cool and rainy.
-
Good morning, all.
-
And boy are my arms tired!
-
How’s that for a non-sequitor?
-
I’m just exhausted from the past few days. I’ll jump into action in a while.
Whether that’s a little while or a big while remains to be seen.

DR ChasSmith, a lost cat on the New York City Animal Care Centers reminded me of you. They've named the cat Poe.
Aw, that's nice. I know other cats have enjoyed the name, probably many black cats in particular, and there was another Poe as a patient of my vet several years ago.
Lost, though. That kills me. I've seen a couple of posters here in town recently, and I feel so awful for both the cats and their heartbroken owners.
-
I'm up, I'm up - almost eight hours of sleep - close. But I'd fallen asleep on the couch before going to bed and that was almost two hours.

Thank you and Ditto to John.

DR Jrand thanks for sharing the photos. I especially like the photo of me in my new coat and hat holding the sweet cat 🙂

Today we toured the beautiful Ring of Kerry.
-
We watched an extremely interesting demonstration of a Border Collie herding sheep. The owner talked about training and demonstrated various ways the dog and trainer work together to move a group of sheep or separate sheep from the rest of the herd.

DR George, if you're looking for a gift for your sister, I can recommend Jee Sauce. It's an organic vegan dip made from almonds. There are a variety of flavors, and they are really good.

For some reason, every time I post a web link, it appears in a teeny tiny font, and I have to edit my post to increase the font size just on the link. Don't know why that is.

'Tis a mystery.

Good evening!

Then the lump sum payment from Social Security I was told would be here next Wednesday, actually arrived today. That was a very good thing. I've been checking each morning just to make sure and sure enough, right after eating the food, I checked and there it was.

It's getting closer.
-
Just beyond the riverbend.
-
Just around the corner.
-
In the twinkling of an eye.
-
It's getting closer.
-
I hear the pitter-patter of its feet.
-
And the quickening of its breath.
-
PAGE SIX!
-
Good night, friends.
-
I don't know why I cannot settle on a damn movie.
-
I try.
-
I really try.
-
But nothing is appealing to me at the moment.
-
I hate when that happens.

I spent the night and morning throwing up. I hope it was only a reaction to all the food I shouldn't be eating vs something contagious.
-
I'm hoping Keith is fine. He is at breakfast while I'm resting
-
Our luggage has been collected. Today we are heading to our last hotel for a 2 night stay before heading to Milwaukee.
-
One of the stops today is for a tour of the Jameson Distillery. I was looking forward to this, especially the sampling party. No samples for me today even if I am up to doing the tour.

What a way to start Page 7. ;)
-
Tonight was opening night for Theater Artists Olympia's world premiere production of Xander Layden's The King in Yellow!
-
We had about 28 or so people, including the author himself, Xander Layden! ;D
-
He lives here in Olympia and has acted with TAO many times, as well as Olympia Family Theatre and Harlequin Productions.
-
I guess this was a pet project of his that he's wanted to do for quite some time, and now he got to do it.
-
The audience seemed to enjoy it...of course, some friends and his mother and a couple of her sisters were there, so that helps. ;)
-
But the audience wasn't entirely made up of friends or family.
-
Last night we had a pretty good run-through, but tonight, we had some never-happened-before hiccups. :o
-
Yes, yes, but what did you EAT?
-
I wish someone would eat page seven, which I do not care for.
-
A burrito?
-
The major goober was that even though everything looked good on the computer for the sounds and projections, no sound (music, sound effects, etc.) came through at all!
-
Scallops meunière?
-
Kris the stage manager had the presence of mind to make some sound effects on the fly, but no one knows what happened.
-
Liver and onions?
-
Yes, yes, but what did you EAT?
I'll get there. Spoiler Alert: I went to Red Robin.
-
Liver and onions?
NEVER!! :P
-
Chicken a la King?
-
Frosted flakes?
-
Gratuitous Post #200!!
-
Anyway, I set off a couple of light cues early, but that was no big deal.
-
FORTUNATELY, Marko, pug the director's husband and sound designer, was able to change a couple of cables and work some other kind of technically theatrical magic and by the second act, the sound was back. WHEW!!
-
The audience seemed to enjoy it, even when it all turned dark.
-
It starts out as a comedy, but doesn't stay comedic.
-
We'll see how the rest of the run goes!
-
Fried okra?
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
-
At last - page eight.
-
I do not mind page eight.
-
All we know is Red Robin.
-
For all we know, he had liver and onions.
-
We have not received proper information.
-
But I have no time - want to get to bed at a normal hour.
