Well, you've read the notes, the notes noted it was the last of April, and now it is time for you to post until the last of April cows come home.

I slept well until 3:00, my usual bathroom break time. After that, I was out of my comfortable sleeping position, the left hand and pinched nerve acted up, and "Santa Claus is coming to town" kept running through my mind.

The Pacers won their game last night and move to the second round of the NBA playoffs.

The Timberwolves play tonight and can do the same thing - possibly.

Monday's dress/tech rehearsal went pretty well. They got through Act 1 and about a third of Act 2. That's kind of par for the course for a show with a fair amount of moving parts.

Last night's? Well, it was like nothing was able to happen. Things were hardly moving at all, and they just barely got through the REST of Act 2. And tonight's the final dress. Their one *complete* run-through will commence when the clock strikes four. Pray for the baby.

Damn! Damn! Damn! Second package with tracking number supposedly delivered to this address was not.

I called the 10024 Planetarium USPSD Station and to a completely apathetic woman qho clearly didn't give a damn when I told her I suspoected they had a dyslexic delivery person or a postal worker who was a thief. She told me to call the USPS 800 number.

It took me a while to find it on the USPS sitew, and I called. I was lucky to get a wonderful woman named Cassandra who took information on both missing books and sent me confirmation emails. I doubt either book will show up.

I love the song too. Big Bobby Darin fan. I guess I am nervous because of the Kevin Spacey biopic, which started out fine and then devolved into mediocrity or worse.

All those "no more water, no more aqua, ta-ta H2O" bits (which is I believe just "no more sailing" in the Bobby Darin recording) suggests Jonathan Groff really does take his sweating and spitting reputation with a real sense of humor.

I did a search and the price of walnuts is likely to increase more.  The demand has gone up while the supply has dropped.

"The 2024-2025 walnut crop is 11% lower than the USDA forecast in September, partly due to record-high temperatures and La Niña weather patterns. This has created a shortage, driving prices up."

I’m liking Hope Davis. But I always like Hope Davis.

Are you in season 3?

We're about five episodes into season 4.    The story  took a really noticeable turn with a major plot development early in the season.

Yes, season three. Finishing up episode six.

One of the library orders this week is a DVD of The Dancing Pirate, an early Rodgers and Hart talkie that I haven’t seen before. The score is not said to be great, but the three panel coloring is supposed to be interesting.

DR JOHN G I saw The Dancing Pirate a few years ago on a PD DVD.

I am sure it will be much more entertaining if it's been spruced up.  The leading man was sort of a stick in the mud - but nice to see at least once.

Not entirely sold on Jonathan Groff. He seems to want to upstage his backup dancers. I could probably enjoy a cast album.

Survival vibes for DR CHAS SMITH and his fingers.

Fingers will be fine. It's my back that will be killing me...from sitting all those hours on a keyboard bench on a floor that's on a slight angle, just enough that I can feel the "pull".

ChasSmith, just get a level and some shims for your bench legs.  Easy-peasy! ;)

Every couple of months I order the 5-pound bag of walnuts from Costco.com (they only have the 3-pound bag with larger pieces in my Costco "warehouse").  I was set to order them again and noticed that the price went up from $16.99 in February to $27.49 today!

Darn!  I haven't made them in a while, but I LOVE walnuts in chocolate chip cookies. :D
