Well, you've read the notes, the notes were waiting for the murder, and now it is time for you to post until the waiting for the murder cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: FANTABULOUS!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
Hoping for the arrival today of what should have arrived for BK yesterday!
-

-
George, vibes for your Mom's eye surgery.
-
Hoping John G's trip keeps going well.
Really nice photo last night from the hotel!
-
Good morning, all!

I slept well. In the last couple of months Stella has begun this bad habit of sleeping at the side of my bed, so every time I get out of bed, I step on her. This happened around 11:30 last night and 5:30 when the alarm rang. She's so sweet and pretty, but she's definitely several sandwiches short of a picnic.
-
When I checked my emails this morning, I found the tracks for the audiobook and edited manuscript of Annabelle & Thatch: Cat Tales from West 82nd Street. I've downloaded everything, and I cannot wait to listen to the audiobook.
-
I guess the audiobook will occupy the rest of this week.
-
I hope DR Slingshot's move goes well, and I hope he will post lots of photos of the new abode.
-
Good morning.

Fabulous! Wishing you many interviews and great publicity for the book, financial success, and more of the kind of work you love to do!
-
Went down a rabbit hole last night and stayed awake way too late! Where am I?
-
And the last dream this morning was one of my classic crazy ones. Three complete scenes.
-
To recapture the dreams, it was one of those times that I actually worked through them backwards. I finally realized where they’d started and it all began making a little more sense.
-
More coffee!!

Went to Marble Falls’s most famous spot, The Bluebonnet Cafe. I had German Chocolate Pie.
-
I am happy.
-
I also had a pretty good helping of chicken and dumplings.
-
But pie is first and foremost.
-
I'm up, I'm up - almost eight hours of sleep.
-
I've been up since eleven, doing various and sundried things.
-
Had mac and cheese for food.

I told Keith that three was the Wordle number for the day. Good for him for also getting it in three :)

Ooooh! Chicken and dumplings!!!
What kind of dumplings? Like noodles or the round biscuit kind?
-
In the "Presidents say the darnedest things" department -
I put up this YouTube parody take on that "Kids can just have two dolls instead of 30 for Christmas" concept. (At least, the President got us thinking about Christmas in May!)
Thanks if you have time to watch!

Page FIVE?
-
Really?
-
How can it be?
-
Must write some damn notes.
-
I'll be back shortly.
-
Little known fact that I only know from that time I discovered all my old Day Runners. I read for a The Sunshine Boys tv series pilot that starred Red Buttons and Lionel Stander. They liked me well enough to screen test me and a couple of others, one of whom, Michael Durrell, got the part - he was more of a straight arrow type than I was, but I like to think I did well. I know when I read for it, Neil Simon was in the room, as was director Robert Moore. I never saw it - not even sure it aired.
-
DR George, did I miss a date for your mother's eye surgery? I hope it goes smoothly.
Thanks, Larry! But no, you didn't miss the surgery.
-
It turns out that her appointment yesterday was just a consult.
-
She'll have to schedule the actual procedure at, and for, a later date.
-
:)
-
Well, tonight's act two run-through went pretty well.
-
Well...well enough for where we are in the rehearsal process.
-
Even though it's still a bit rough, no one is worried, even the director, our very own Jed!
-
And everyone is having fun.
-
No one is feeling bad about not being off-book yet.
-
But the day to be off-book isn't until Sunday, so there's still time.
-
I'm kind worried for a couple of the actors, but I'm sure that they'll get it.
-
No one is a first-time actor.
-
They all have been in shows before, so they should know what to expect.
-
Hopefully. ::)
-
;)

I was sitting next to an uber-Rufus Wainwright fan who flew from Milwaukee to London just for this show. Good thing he didn't wait since it closed pretty soon after I saw it (but I wasn't there for the performances they recorded).

Listening to a beautiful ballet by Matilde Salvador - must see if there's anything else out there by her. It's just terrific. Called El Ruiseñor i la Rosa, from 1958. Delightfully tuneful.
-
Maybe I'll issue it with a couple of other tuneful, rare ballet scores/
