Well, you've read the notes, the notes were steeped in the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the steeped cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: SCUD!
-
Good morning, all!

I slept well, In one dream, I was workiong on a film bio of Judy Garland, The leading lady was an unknoiwn, and her mother was played by Betty Buckley. It was a very strange dream geographically; we seemed to be in Appalachiaentucky on the banks of the Big Sandy River, close to my paternal grandmother's house.
What's more weird is that I know nothing about the adolescent life of Judy Garland.
-
I never did hear from Concord Theatricals yesterday, so I need to pursue that today. I've git the final two chapters of A & T to get through today, along with my usual household chores and whatever fresh hell turns up.
-
Good morning, all.
-
This post comes to you from the site of The Last Ungodly Early Morning Rehearsal.
-
At least for this season.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Got a few extra work hours today because we’ve been so busy. Yesterday we did 838 voters, 2 shy of the day before.
-
Good morning, friends.

And others.

The piranhas of the bird world, as it were.
Or, if you will, the Broadway producers of the bird world! :)
-
Slept fitfully last night. Dreamed about finding solutions to some of the writing. But the solutions were not about this book.
-
Let’s see if I can meet that milestone this morning.
-
Less than six hours left in part one of Genji.
-
Zeroing in on the 30-hour mark.
-
Plotwise, it’s slow.
-
For sure, DR Freddie. :)
-
But the cultural information about Japan of 1,000+ years ago is fascinating.
-
Slow-wise, it's plot.
-
I blame Jose.

Vibes for BK's medical conversation this afternoon to go as he'd like it to go!

Two to go.

Doctor’s appointment this afternoon.

Here it is! 101,000!

The philisophical notes were great phun.

CONGRATULATIONS, DR John G., on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament!!!

On PAGE TWO!!

CONGRATULATIONS, DR John G., on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament!!!
Congratulations, John G, on your brand new millstone!
-
Not to be too irreverent since I know the Sean "Diddy" Combs trial is very serious - but every time I hear that a certain witness in a New York trial is a "stylist for Combs" - it seems like an interesting juxtaposition of words.
-
Good morning.
-
Back home.
Eating a bagel and drinking coffee.
And that'll do for now. That's all I ask for now. Who could ask for anything more?
(Hmm, catchy. Maybe someone should do something with that.)
-
CONGRATULATIONS, DR John G., on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament!!!
A Lofty Perch - Might that be one of the fish in "What is it, fish?"
-
Good morning.
TACO!!!!!

My favorite philosopher is Gottfried Leibnitz, a German of such stupid intellect that Voltaire made fun of his "best of all possible worlds" philosophy in Candide.

Please send vibes for Asha, my daughter's cat. We got her when my friend moved and wasn't able to take her with him. She's 17 years old, still acting like herself, but it seems her mouth is bothering her.

Has anyone been following the story of Oliver Widger who just sailed from Oregon to Hawaii with his cat Phoenix?

Sending health vibes for Asha.

This is the best photo I could find of Phoenix. I don't think it does this beautiful tortie and white justice.

So cute!

So, tonight is our final dress rehearsal with an invited audience made up of mostly, if not entirely, the Evergreen Playhouse's board of directors.
-
We open tomorrow!
-
Rehearsals have been going well and I think they'll be ready.
-
There still are a few moments where they goober and other assorted nits to pic, but it's mostly either singing too fast or slow against the tracks...those can't be adjusted, so they have to.
-
Thank you. I don't expect good news. Not at all.
-
I"m up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep.

Thank you. I don't expect good news. Not at all.
Hugs.

DR George, how big a band do you have?
It's just me. We're using the MTI tracks...no live band at all.
-
Very interesting notes.
I read a book once.....Marie Dressler spit take.....I will have to try to find it. It was a Greek or Roman philosopher and it was most eye opening and still relevant today.
I shall have to try to find the book. His father was a king.....anyway....I need to find that book.
-
Final rehearsal vibes for DR GEORGE & Co.
-
The actress playing the one-scene part in our play just dropped out....onward!
-
TACO is my favorite new expression!
-
After two nights of being up until after 4 a.m. I finally got all caught up and slept until after 2 p.m. today.
-
DR JANE that's one beautiful cat!
Watching her in the videos she is a sweetheart.
-
The actress playing the one-scene part in our play just dropped out....onward!
Oh no! Vibes you find a better actress.
-
I have had to read a bunch of philosophy for classes. I liked some of it. But I can’t remember who said what. I have enjoyed Walter Benjamin, Descartes and Derida. I liked reading Nietzsche, but I don’t always care for what he had to say. Shaw has written some interesting stuff, too.
-
Thanks, y’all.
-
Our internet’s out again, damn it to HELL. Internet and TV both. (I’m here via cell.) Comcast is coming out tomorrow.
-
Laura dropping the “TACO” on us, haha. Love it.
Yup :)
-
OH! I hate when that happens DR CHAS SMITH.
-
Thanks DR JANE. I have someone in mind.
-
Fingers crossed for you.

Our internet’s out again, damn it to HELL. Internet and TV both. (I’m here via cell.) Comcast is coming out tomorrow.
Good luck with Comcast!
-
Final rehearsal vibes for DR GEORGE & Co.
Thanks, Jrand!
-
Oh, look! It's Page Four! :)
-
The pair of keets are very talkative today.....maybe because they weren't uncovered until 2 p.m.
-
It's an overcast day.....but no rain is expected. So that's okay.
-
The actress playing the one-scene part in our play just dropped out....onward!
Don't you hate it when that happens? :o
-
I found it!
Meditations of Marcus Aurelius.
Highly recommended by the likes of me.

On Sunday, we had a run-through, and the light board operator and the microphone operator were there for the first time. On Monday, the light board operator came back, but the mic person wasn't there. ???

61. "It isn’t manly to be enraged. Rather, gentleness and civility are more human, and therefore manlier. The nearer a man comes to a calm mind, the closer he is to strength."
-
Jed sent a text, then called. No response at all! She just totally ghosted us! >:(
-
Centralia is a small town and a smaller theater community. That one decision of hers has given her a reputation that will most likely prevent her from being used in future theatrical events, even up here in Olympia.
-
Of course, she may not want to get involved again, but still she should've at least let us know that she couldn't do it...any reason would've been fine. Just don't bail like that. :P
-
Fortunately, they were able to get her picture and bio out of the program in time!
-

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! :o

Thanks DR JANE. I have someone in mind.
Oh, that's good!

That's terrible!

My sister lived for years in a house that Marie Dressler once lived in. I was the only one in my family who was excited by that news.

TOD: TAO
That is to say I read the Tao Te Ching in high school.
-
Tao not to be confused with TACO.
-
Several hundred dollars later, Asha is at home recovering from her ordeal. For how long, I don't know.
-
She's very dehydrated. Her teeth are bad. And at age 17, her kidneys are probably shot. But my daughter will have at least some time with her.
-
She got a double dose of fluids, an antibiotic shot, and an enema. Hopefully she will feel better. For a while.
-
The pair of keets are very talkative today.....maybe because they weren't uncovered until 2 p.m.
Wow, why so late?
-
On Sunday, we had a run-through, and the light board operator and the microphone operator were there for the first time. On Monday, the light board operator came back, but the mic person wasn't there. ???
Did you find out why?

Does anyone know her to find out if it was intentional or if something happened to her?

She got a double dose of fluids, an antibiotic shot, and an enema. Hopefully she will feel better. For a while.
I did not expect the enema.
-
DR Laura, it sounds as if Asha need to be on fluids, in office or at home. Was there a discussion about that?
-
Tao not to be confused with TACO.
Or Theater Artists Olympia. ;)

The assumption is that she might have realized that she was just overwhelmed with all the mics that she would have to deal with, but to not at least admit that is just bad form.

My new philosophy.
-
I guess my favorite philosophers are Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Lorenz Hart, Frank Loesser and Johnny Mercer.
-
She got a double dose of fluids, an antibiotic shot, and an enema. Hopefully she will feel better. For a while.
I did not expect the enema.
Neither did Asha.
-
They did an xray, which showed ... she needed an enema.

I guess my favorite philosophers are Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Lorenz Hart, Frank Loesser and Johnny Mercer.
Nice list!

I did not expect the enema.
Neither did Asha.
Those are difficult to go through but they do feel better afterwards.
-
Doctor visit was very interesting.
-
More about that in the notes.
-
Otherwise, I made some pasta with red sauce for food.
-
And I don't care who knows it.
-
Otherwise-wise, I've just been writing.
-
Moving onto a new chapter, but the computer is ready to be shut down and restarted due to the usual freezing and slowness.
-
Doctor visit was very interesting.
I hope that is a good interesting vs "interesting".
-
She got a double dose of fluids, an antibiotic shot, and an enema. Hopefully she will feel better. For a while.
I did not expect the enema.
Unexpected enemas are the worst.

Pacers are behind at the moment....now that the time stamp is accurate.
-
Page Six.
-
DR GEORGE such folks are not unusual.
-
Everyone wants to do theeder - but some don't understand what it takes.
-
DR JANE I didn't get up until 2 p.m. So the pair of keets were covered until then.
If I close my bedroom door - I only have one window which has room darkening curtains, so with the door closed I don't get light from the other bedrooms and it is dark for as long as I wish.....and I did so last night after a couple of 5 a.m. stay awakes.
-
And it may happen tomorrow as well.
I have warned Elvis and Priscilla of the perhaps.
DR JOHN G is JB covered over night or does he exist as the light flows?

Marilyn Maye this evening was really spectacular. And at age 97, an inspiration. She was accompanied by music director Tedd Firth, plus a local string bass and a percussionist.
-
I would go see her again any time.
-
She appeared solo on the Johnny Carson show 74 times.
-
She ended the show with "It's Today," and her high kicks were higher than I could do.
-
What's your thread count?
-
I thought this was interesting...
-
I'm not overthinking.
I'm pre-solving problems that don't exist yet.
-
Here is Marilyn from a few years earlier:

DR JOHN G is JB covered over night or does he exist as the light flows?
He is covered. Otherwise, he'd be active all night.
-
She ended the show with "It's Today," and her high kicks were higher than I could do.
I cannot do high kicks at all.
-
I finished the shortest chapter tonight. It's a step forward.
-
Thanks for repor, Singdaw.

What else did she sing?

Long day tomorrow.

Saw this guy Tuesday night
-
Saw this guy a couple of weeks ago
-
Works been busy
-
Not really that unusual as we're headed into the busy part of the real estate year
-
I see WFO several nights a week, stopping by on my way home from work
-
I haven't had a lot of energy since the pneumonia
-
I keep dozing off in the recliner when I try to watch TV or read
-
TOD
Can Jesus be termed a philosopher?
-
I liked the bit where he said to be nice to each other
-
Finished with my viewing.
-
Was just about to start writing some damn notes when i noted the computer had done its ubiquitous freeze, so I had to shut it down manually.
-
Then I had to fire it up manually.
-
That took ten minutes for everything to load and now thankfully all is well and well is all.
-
And now I must write some damn notes.
-
It must be done and done it must be, not necessarily in that order.
-
I believe George has gone into the woods.
-
Where he has found the way of all flesh.
-
Speaking of George, has he really not read Vegas Can Be Murder, which he has had for WEEKS???
-
Or has he read it and just not done an Amazon review?
-
Has Freddie or Skip read it? If so, how's about an Amazon review?
-
Guess George is skipping his nightly visit again.
-
It happens.
-
Enter page eight.
-
Only 433 GUESTS tonight. Guess the GUEST binge was last night, with almost 10,000 GUESTS.
-
Glad we made page eight.
-
Soup is nearby.
-
Midnight is nearby.
-
Notes are nearby.
-
George, on the other hand, is not nearby.
-
I love that the timestamp is accurate, don't you?
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.

Tonight was the final dress rehearsal for Into the Woods, directed by (former) DR Jed.
