Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a very go day of noting, and now it is time for you to post until the writing cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: RAMBUNCTIOUS!

Good night, all.
-
I am watching Adam-12.
-
The doctor's office called and the Nurse Kelly told me that the doctor was pleased with the test results and to keep him informed if symptoms return.
-
Good morning, all!
-
Yesterday was a most interesting day. Around 5:00 I got an email from Robert Armin, who's publishing Annabelle & Thatch, asking if he could drop off galleys of the book around 6:00. We had never met in person to my knowledge, so I was looking forward to the visit. I had enjoyed speaking to his wife Kristine on the phone, so I had asked him to bring her as well. So, around 6:15, Robert and Kristine arrived, and Annabelle played the gracious hostess, climbing all over them, sitting in their laps, and preening and posing. Stella, who's usually as friendly stayed on my bed, and Thatch hid under it.

The doctor's office called and the Nurse Kelly told me that the doctor was pleased with the test results and to keep him informed if symptoms return.
That's terrific, Jrand!
-
Robert and Kristine swore they remembered me from the Drama Book Shop, and we discussed our late mutual friend Paul Ford and his memorial this past week at New Stages. Then we got to business and discussed publication date, possible signings, and financial matters. They left around 8:00, and just before they left, Thatch came out of hiding. He stayed with Stella on the bed, but Kristine and Robert seemed happy to have met the two stars of the book.

This news put a big smile on my face!
-
DR John G, how much longer are you in Hawaii? I'm happy you are having a good time.
-
My wrist is beginning to pain, so I'm stepping off.

That's great, Larry! Hoping the rest of this year brings you success and happiness.

Good morning, friends.
-
And others.
-
That all sounds fairly promising, DR elmore3003.
-
Cautious good news from DR Jrand74.
-
That's all I got.

:)
-
Laundry will never leave you.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Sunny and clear today, and I shall do my best at mowing the south forty.
-
Rain, at least some, will be back tomorrow for the 13th (?) (I continually lose count) consecutive Saturday.
-
Heaping big galley congratulations to DR Elmore!
-
More coffee!!
-
And, I think, another slice of toast.
-
Laundry will never leave you.

Nice story DR ELMORE.....fun!
-
I bought a BluRay that has Alexander Revisited The Final Cut, Troy The Director's Cut, and 300.
I got it used on EBAY for $6.....if you are a fan of any of those movies, you might see what you can find.
Last night I watched Alexander - and it was very good. And the picture is much better than the DVD.
-
Possible high concept slasher film -
"The Circumciser: The Final Cut"
-
Good morning.
-
Great news, JRand!
-
And great news, Elmore!
-
LOL DR FREDDIE.....with an added OUCH.
-
Overcast and rainy day here in Indiana.....fine with me.
-
Pacers play game 4 tonight for those who may be interested. They lead 2-1 in a best of seven.
-
Thank you DR LAURA. I am encouraged.
-
The pair of keets are most active today.
-
I am still looking for a new toy that will amuse them.
Most everything I buy is ignored.
-
The mailman is down the street.
Once he moves his truck perhaps I will get a missive.
-
The doctor's office called and the Nurse Kelly told me that the doctor was pleased with the test results and to keep him informed if symptoms return.
Wonderful. You said "if the symptoms return". IF? Does this mean you are feeling back to normal?
-
George, Keith says thanks.
-
From DR John:
They’re much better than the mai tais.
No wonder you had beer. Since I don't like beer I would have had to pass on them both.
-
From DR MichaelG:
The falafel pita at our local Falafel Stop is so good - freshly made Israeli-style falafel in fresh pita with a mix of veggies.
That sounds delicious.
-
I also had to look up chocolate haupia pie.
-
From George:
Well, this is interesting:
US territory wants to ditch America and rejoin Spain
Puerto Rico - an unincorporated territory of the United States - has put forward a number of proposals to break away from the U.S. and realign with Spain
Very interesting and I don't blame them.
-
Yes DR JANE I think the symptoms were mostly due to a lack of sleep....I was awake for 72 hours.......
-
I am enjoying the day.....such as it is....perhaps it is my age.
-
Each day is precious....I will be 75 years old in August.
-
A very Virgo year.
-
Puerto Rico....my heart's devotion....may it sink back in the ocean!
Everyone there will give big cheer.
Everyone there will have moved here.
Bye bye.
Thank you, Mr. Stephen Sondheim.
-
I know you do!
-
The doctor's office called and the Nurse Kelly told me that the doctor was pleased with the test results and to keep him informed if symptoms return.

I leave on June 18.

The doctor's office called and the Nurse Kelly told me that the doctor was pleased with the test results and to keep him informed if symptoms return.
Great news.
-
I’m having problems with the staff at my neck doctor’s office.
-
Possible high concept slasher film -
"The Circumciser: The Final Cut"
:o
:))
-
Yes, they are a pain the neck.
-
George, Keith says thanks.
Please tell Keith that he's welcome!
-
I lay down after making the bed around 10:30. Annabelle and Stella joined me. The construction on the street outside is quite noisy today. This has been going on since early March, ad it's really working my last nerve. Thatch is hiding under the bed.
-
Three hours later, I just dragged my body out of bed. I spent most of it asleep, except for those moments when the noise outside was really intense.
-
Yes DR JANE I think the symptoms were mostly due to a lack of sleep....I was awake for 72 hours.......
I have had symptoms like those due to lack of sleep. 72 hours is a long time. I'm glad they are gone. Are you sorry you dropped out of your evening theater activities or did you begin sleeping better once that was done?
-
I’m having problems with the staff at my neck doctor’s office.
Oh no.
-
Yes, they are a pain the neck.
;D

Yes, they are a pain the neck.
LOL!
-
I'm up, I'm up - nine nd a half hours of needed sleep.
-
Now I must dress and do a couple of quick errands, then get back here and get to work.
-
DR JANE it was time.
-
Pacers play tonight..or did I say that already.
-
Audacity is a wonderful word.
-
I'm walking down to my brother's house for some pizza in a bit.
-
DR JANE it was time.
I thought so. Once the decision was made it likely reduced much of your stress.
-
I'm walking down to my brother's house for some pizza in a bit.
Yum.
-
I wish I could walk to my brother's home.
-
I'm walking down to my brother's house for some pizza in a bit.
I'm having pizza for dinner, too. All the good food groups.
-
Back from the pool.
-
I swam and I read. Successful trip.
-
Four!
-
I wish I could walk to my brother's home.
I wish I could walk to my brother Macbeth's home and explain to him and his wife Lady Joann Macbeth why stealing from your family (or from anyone) is not right.
But I'll have pizza here instead. :) We got great tuna steaks at Amazon Fresh and Skip is having one of those.
-
I swam and I read.
In that order?
-
Apparently the "serving size" for chips is 10 chips.
-
I eat 10 chips while deciding if I even want chips.

We are too. Our favorite nearby pizza place is closing this location after Saturday's service. But they found another local independent pizza shop to take over the space, so hopefully that location won't be vacant too long. I'm sure they'll want to at least redecorate, but part of the attraction of the location is that the pizza kitchen part is ready to go.

LOL! It's good not to rush into things.

Post deleted.

Keith got Wordle in three :)
-
Our contractor was sad as he missed it, and after getting it in two yesterday.
-
We are done with the work until the shower door is ready to be installed. We are hoping for Friday morning.
-

Very nice!

DR JANE it was time.
You wanna know what else was time? Here's the before:
You look good in all the photos. I am kind of partial to long hair though much longer might have been too long :)
-
And the after:
It is a good haircut.

Thanks.

Nice haircut, DR George, though it looked great before too.
-
Tonight we will be watching The Accountant 2.
-
I hope we like it better than Bruce did.
-
Maybe it will help that I have now lowered my expectations.

It was just getting a little too long for me. Maybe I'll let it grow it out again next year. We'll see.
-
And the after:
It is a good haircut.
Thanks. I like it. Even though I get a different person each time, they're usually pretty consistent.
-

Yup. :)

Adorable!

:)
-
It is popcorn time.
-
Good evening!
-
Taking a damn break.
-
First thing I did was pick up a few things from the mail place, including a little residual that will pay for three nice meals.
-
Then I went to CVS and bought new multi-focus readers - went from 1.25 to 1.50. These are working a bit better for the computer so that 's good.
-
Keith got Wordle in three :)
Congrats to Keith!
-
Got orange chicken from a Chinese jernt I'd gotten from during the pandemic. Had it been just a little sweeter, I would have really liked it - they did do the extra crispy part and I had two helpings and will have another soon.
-
The doctor's office called and the Nurse Kelly told me that the doctor was pleased with the test results and to keep him informed if symptoms return.
Good to hear, DR Jrand!
-
My back is killing me.

Wordle: 4/6
-
Have written nine new pages, in addition to the futzing and finessing, so I only need to do another page or two later.
-

-
I like your new haircut, DR George.
-
Think of how much money you saved not cutting it for the past year!
-
I don't think we have any special plans for the weekend.
-
Except for the DH having to work tonight and tomorrow morning at Temple, and Sunday morning at the church.
-
We will be assembling our new vacuum cleaner tomorrow. The old one bit the dust. So to speak.
-
But it lasted for 8 years or so.
-
We also had an electrician here yesterday to take care of a few things. Boy, was that expensive! I had no idea.

For anyone here who might be interested - I found an extra hardcover first edition of Meredith Willson's great book about the making of The Music Man - But He Doesn't Know the Territory - in great condition in a great jacket and - SIGNED by Willson from him and Rini (his wife). This book in this condition goes for big money - the only signed like copy on the ABE is eight or nine hundred bucks. I paid three hundred for this many years ago - I somehow got two copies back then but forgot about this until I just found it rummaging around in the garage. Happy to let it go for the three hundred and postage.

Wow. Not at this moment, but wow.
-
Nice haircut, George.
-
I sent the manuscript to the editor.
-
Carol and I watched the Liza documentary. She worked with Liza in the early days. I wanted more singing. But I enjoyed it.
-
Finished with my writing for the evening - twelve pages. I'm spending quite a few pages on the sequence I'm in because I like the detail of it. Muse Margaret can tell me if it goes on too long or it's too much.
-
Had another few bites of the orange chicken but the flavor is just a bit too weird for the likes of me.
-
It just is.
-
No two ways about it.
-
Might have some Chicken in a Biskit crackers in a little while, just to cleanse ye olde palate.
-
Why are we on page six?
-
That seems very wrong.
-
Well, must write some damn notes - they'll be short as all the notes have been since I started this book.
-
My eyes just get too weird.
-
I suspect I'll use both pairs of readers - the lower strength works fine for some things and the slightly higher strength works better for other things.
-
Went out for the sunset. Quite lovely.
-
Now watching some PBS broadcast from the Met.
-
Right now it's Aida.
-
Not the Elton John version.
-
What do I see?
-
Page turn!
-
Seven!
-
Howdy, Rupert.
-
Congratulations on sending the book to the editor, DR John G!
-
I finished Emily Henry's latest today. She must have a VitaMix. A regular blender would be worn out with all she throws into her plot. Citizen Kane, Elvis, so much of little interest.
-
I'm sure it'll be a huge hit.
-
Congratulations on sending the book to the editor, DR John G!
Grazie.
-
I'll wait until tomorrow before mentioning the Willson book in the musicals groups on Facebook.
-
Notes are finished.
-
Have you noticed George isn't here?
-
I have.
-
Perhaps he's gone the way of all fleshy flesh.
-
Or to Baja Fresh.
-
Or maybe he's wearing stockings that are mesh.
-
I think that's about it for rhyming that word.
-
Get me off this damn page.
-
Oh Don - Don Wilson.
-
I wonder if this mashed avocado will be any good.
-
Let's find out.
-
Not bad.
-
Tastes like what my mother used to do.
-
It has a certain nostalgic value - about ten cents.
-
Where IS everyone?
-
Not here.
-
Probably there.
-
Not here.
-
Will we EVER get off this damn page?
-
No way.
-
No how.
-
Not at this pace.
-
Cannot happen.

I am now. I literally did not get home until 11:40 pm.

As stage manager at Evergreen Playhouse, I can't leave until everyone else is gone and I've done the after-show chores. :))
