Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland 131, and now it is time for you to post until the 131 cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: WINDFALL!
-
Good morning, all!
-
DR Rodzinski, I saw your first beaitiful photo and thought, Bali Hai! You anmd the Other R's are in a gorgeous vacation locale. Lke DR Laura, I prefer to learn about other friends' vacations. My idea of a good time is stayinmg home.
-
I went to bed at 8:30 and slept well until 1:15. After that it was dozing, too much awake time, too many aches and way too many sharp pains.
-
This is my first day in a week that I have nothing scheduled or any necessary tasks, so I plan to chill out. Tomorrow temperatures are supposed to drop to the 70s, and I will then think about getting the laundry ready and taking the trash and recyclables to the basement. Tomorrow afternoon I have my first session in a month with my student Joe, so I will hear about his concert, which I look forward to.
-
I'm happy last night's show went well.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Congrats on another great show. Looking forward to videos, hopefully.
-
Last day of this heat wave, thank the gods and goddesses. And at least we're "only" supposed to reach 93 today, unlike the near-100s of the previous two days.
As DR Elmore said, tomorrow's high is 70. There shall be rejoicing throughout the land.
-
Wednesday.
Glad to hear the show went well.
I did not know Mr Barry Pearl was a Broadway replacement! The things you learn at HHW.
-
June 25th.
-
It is 80 degrees headed for 92.
-
For some reason I am very tired today.....
-
Someone in Larry Blank's orchestration group posted this link to a 1987 dance rehearsal for "Shaking the Blues Away" with Ann Miller, pointing out the meticulous attention to tempo, among other things. I'm not all the way through it yet, but I would also point out the amazing positivity from all parties. One might say these folks had their JEF going on.

Edit: (Never mind, I fixed it!) :)
-
Good morning, all.
-
I’m tired. But I have a last-minute interview at 8:30.
-
Great to hear how well the Kritzerland show went!
-
I'm up?
-
And here I thought I'd sleep in.
-
But noooooo - three hours sleep and a dreadful allergy attack.
-
And of course, I ran out of Claritin-D two weeks ago and had to wait two weeks to buy it because I'd just bought some Mucinex-D and you have to wait two weeks between D things.
-
This wasn't just going to go away by itself, so I got some clothes on and drove over to my CVS - open twenty-four hours, and for once they had the twenty-four hour kind I like so I bought that and came right home and just took it. Hope it kicks in soon.
-
Guess I can proof until it does.
-
Then maybe I'll try to get another couple of hours.
-
Good morning.

Bobby Sherman was in a Partridge Family spinoff that lasted not even half a season. He was a composer. Can’t remember much else.
From Rodzinski:
Getting Together. I have the LP that came with a die-cut wheel so you could ‘change the channel’ on the TV on the cover.
I don't remember the show. The cover sounds cool.
-
I’m tired. But I have a last-minute interview at 8:30.
I hope it went well.
-
I wonder whether we can reach a new page before 12:30 pm (eastern).
-
It's good to set a goal, if you know you can achieve it.
-
PAGE TWO!
-
Bruce, now that you have a primary doctor, have you discussed your allergies? Maybe you can get a prescription for something that might help you.

Good afternoon, friends.
-
And others.
-
Nothing to report.
-
Glad the Kritzerland show went well.
-
Glad the Kritzerland show went well.
I am too. Just forgot this morning. The lineup sounds great.
-
DR CHAS SMITH that is one of my favorite YouTUBE videos.
Never ONCE does she look down at her feet.....she knows exactly what she's doing!
-
Strong thunder we may get a storm!
-
Congratulations on a successful Kritzerland show!
-
To my great relief I got a call today letting me know that my Wednesday colonoscopy will be in the morning. If they gave me an afternoon time I would have had to cancel, and I really need the endoscopy that is scheduled with it.
-
Not so good is I need to arrive at 6:00am. Fortunately it is only 10 minutes from home.
-
Keith is up anyway and I don't have to be alert since I'm not driving ;D
-
Good news DR JANE......
I had almost forgotten there was a six o'clock in the morning.
-
I was hoping for 7:00 but I will take it. Keith was a total of 2 hours at his wonderful surgery center in Ashland. They didn't even tell me what my surgery time is :(
-
After a brief thunderstorm and power outage.....the temps have dropped to 79 degrees!
-
To celebrate, I ordered a pizza from Papa John's.
-
I am reading the latest book from Bret Easton Ellis - The Shards.
It takes place in LA in 1981 and his writing reminds me of MR BK in that he describes the streets he drives on, the buildings he passes, the movies he sees and what theeder they are play in.....
-
My pizza is baking.
-
Warning - do not try to slide down the slide at the playground today.
-

Glad that worked out with the scheduling.
-
I just dozed off for about thirty minutes, but man, the allergy pill took forever to kick in - it's better now, but my throat is trashed.
-
Warning - do not try to slide down the slide at the playground today.
I won't!
-
I just dozed off for about thirty minutes, but man, the allergy pill took forever to kick in - it's better now, but my throat is trashed.
Vibes your throat feels better soon.
-
Slow posting day.
-
I went to pie happy hour again.
-
Today’s first choice was peanut butter cream, which was all the better because I had the chocolate sauce on the side.
-
Too many cheap, commercial chocolate syrups taste like a chemical mistake. I’m looking at you, Hersey’s. This was no exception.
-
Then I had a slice of peach pie a la mode.
-
Three!
-
The peach was superb, second only to the pecan of all their pies.
-
The soft serve vanilla melted into it.
-
The cinnamon and nutmeg were subtle. Everything perfect.
-
In honor of the TOD the other day, I'm having the Macaroni and Cheese from 44 and X restaurant (at 44th and 10th) for dinner.
-
After a brief thunderstorm and power outage.....the temps have dropped to 79 degrees!
Nice. Fingers crossed they stay down.

Thank you. I called the doctors office Friday and asked them to remind the hospital I needed the early time. That might of helped.

Pie

More pie

Before ordering hot chocolate I ask what they make it with. I would have to be desparate for something warm before getting Hershey's syrup again :P
-
Then I had a slice of peach pie a la mode.
I would have gone with that one.
-
The peach was superb, second only to the pecan of all their pies.
Keith likes pecan pie.

The soft serve vanilla melted into it.
YUM!

It sounds delicious.

More pie
It really does look good.

I never flew or saw the ocean until I was 15. I didn’t a passport until like 2012. So I never had the call to wander. I found a partner who opened my mind to world travel but who also is highly organized and knows how to make trips less stressful for me. So I am extremely lucky in that regard.
-
Very lucky.
-
Got a lot of work done today.

Keith got Wordle in four.
-
Page three???
-
Had a good lunch meeting and now I have hardly any voice at all - I just need sleep before I get sick.
-
I had carbonara - we actually both did, and we split an order of their great garlic bread - their being Barone's.
-
Now, I'm quite ready to vomit on the ground.
-
Enter page five.
-
And of course, I ran out of Claritin-D two weeks ago and had to wait two weeks to buy it because I'd just bought some Mucinex-D and you have to wait two weeks between D things.
That's terrible! >:(
-
Enter page five.
Umm...we're now on page four. ::)
-
Not so good is I need to arrive at 6:00am. Fortunately it is only 10 minutes from home.
SIX a.m.?? :o Yikes! I'm not a morning person, and that's just too darned early!!

Warning - do not try to slide down the slide at the playground today.
Good to know! :-\

George, I believe it is the same here as in California.

Gratuitous Post #100!!

SIX a.m.?? :o Yikes! I'm not a morning person, and that's just too darned early!!
Yup, I will likely just roll out of bed, take a sip of water with my meds, brush my teeth and get dressed ;D
-
I went to pie happy hour again.
Very nice!
-
Of course, I just might not get much sleep the night before and be awake by 4:00.

Good to know! :-\
If I were a child, it might be fun to use the slide.

Good afternoon.

I would like some pie.
-
Too many cheap, commercial chocolate syrups taste like a chemical mistake. I’m looking at you, Hersey’s. This was no exception.
Ew. I got some hot fudge topping a while ago, but I made sure that it wasn't made with high fructose corn syrup. It does have "corn syrup" in it, but just not high fructose. It's quite delish! ;D
-
The peach was superb, second only to the pecan of all their pies.
Yum!

In honor of the TOD the other day, I'm having the Macaroni and Cheese from 44 and X restaurant (at 44th and 10th) for dinner.
I bought five boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese at Winco the other day.

I was shocked when I found out fentanyl was the drug of choice for my cataract surgery. I was fine with it.

Laura, do you ever doctor it up? I always add extra cheese or something to make it better than just using the powdered cheese.
-
I confirmed I will be getting propofol for my upcoming procedures, and will not be given any pain meds.
-
I try to avoid pain meds when possible as they usually make me throw up.

DR George, I wondered if you would notice your typo ;D

It is because it's controlled.

Yes. But I prefer to make it from scratch -- wit Velveeta. Because it melts nicely.

Fentanyl is controlled? Uh, it's the drug out there causing problems now.

Didn't DR LAURA recently see The Life Of Pie?

It's being controlled by someones who are causing all the problems?? ::)

I am not in good shape - and when my throat is like this I doubt I'll sleep well.

Still nothing to report.

I’m at the Stanford Theatre for my first films of their Hitchcock program. It’s a double bill of Young and Innocent and Sabotage, neither of which I’ve seen.

You've heard of scuba diving.
But have you heard of tuba diving?

PAGE SIX!
-
Good night, friends.
-
And others.
-
I’m at the Stanford Theatre for my first films of their Hitchcock program. It’s a double bill of Young and Innocent and Sabotage, neither of which I’ve seen.
Nova Pilbeam is great in Young and Innocent.
-
Good night, all.
-
Again with the page six.
-
Barely.
-
Right now, I can't get into the form to post the notes.
-
Not good.
-
I've written the host. I cannot stay up late tonight but where he used to always respond quickly, he's slow as molasses these days.
-
You've heard of scuba diving.
But have you heard of tuba diving?
At first, I read it as "scuba tubing." ;D

Nova Pilbeam is great in Young and Innocent.
She is indeed. I liked that one better than Sabotage, but both were worth seeing.
-
So sick of all these issues.
-
Board and site are fine. It's just the log-in to the form for the notes. So, can't change the topic/day until it's fixed. Hope it's soon because I cannot have a late night.
-
Meanwhile, I think a hot shower will help.
-
Well, looks like notes won't be up in the morning - he has to get his team on it.
-
Well, darn.
-
I guess I don't need to feel so bad that I zonked out. ::)
-
;)
-
So, earlier today (Wednesday ;D ), my mom called, saying that her nephew (her only sister's son and my cousin, who both are from and still live in Germany) will be visiting this weekend with his girlfriend!
-
They're coming on Saturday (which is when Olympia's Pride is happening), will visit on Sunday, then leave on Monday.
-
I don't know if they're coming from and going to other places as part of an itinerary, but they'll be staying at a hotel, so my mom won't have to put them up, just get her house in order.
-
I'm going over on Thursday (actually, later today) to help, but she keeps thing fairly neat, so I'll just need to help weed-whack the edges of the yard and blow all the pine needles off the driveway.
-
Fortunately, she has an electric blower, so that won't take too long.
-
I don't think her lawn actually needs to be mowed, yet.
-
I did just mow it all last week.
-
And now...
-
...since...
-
...we're...
-
...so close, let's make our way to...
-
PAGE RUPERT!!
-
And on that note (A-natural), I'm off to bed for real.
Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
And others.
-
Good morning, all.
-
OMG! Somthing went wrong! No new notes and yesterday's posts unlocked.
I will return later.
-
PAGE RUPERT!!
Good page turn, George!
-
Hope you enjoy your time with your cousin and his girlfriend from Germany!
-
Vibes for BK's notes for Thursday getting on soon!
-
BK, maybe until it's fixed, you could put Thursday's TOD (or even the whole notes?) in a post for the time being so they can be read (and discussed, if appropriate)
-
If not whole notes, maybe half notes or quarter notes
-
I hope it gets fixed TODAY so that BK's unbroken posting record may continue.
-
I hope it gets fixed TODAY so that BK's unbroken posting record may continue.
Hmm, if he posts today's notes here in the posts, wouldn't his unbroken record remain unbroken, not even the need for an asterisk?
-
Or an ASSterisk, for that matter.
-
Well this is interesting.
-
Does the whole site look weird to everyone or just overseas users?
-
Does the whole site look weird to everyone or just overseas users?
It even looks different to me on my computer vs. on my phone.

As was prophesized in scripture.

Not weird looking, just missing June 26th. The notes are very weird ;D
-
Bruce, I hope you slept well and feel better.
-
On my phone, it’s like I’m seeing a back-end HTML version of the site. Very confusing to follow. But may be an artifact of weird, Bora Bora firewall or something.
-
Good morning.
-
I wondered how we got to page 7 so early in the morning.
-
BK, you ok brother?
-
I wondered how we got to page 7 so early in the morning.

I noticed today wasn't up and worried Bruce was sick.

On my phone, it’s like I’m seeing a back-end HTML version of the site. Very confusing to follow. But may be an artifact of weird, Bora Bora firewall or something.
The notes vs the posts?

The notes are very bright and bother my eyes.
-

THE BORA BORA FIREWALL - possible name for a dance craze?
-
;D
-
I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep - needed more but the creep house builders are back across the street even though it's basically finished. Today, it's the tree people there, although the house looks like it takes up every square inch of the property, so I'm not sure where a tree would be. Of course, they stopped the minute I got up.
-
Thankfully, I did sleep through the night and did get to bed at one-thirty - would have been earlier had it not been for the issues with the notes, which still isn't resolved, although I think they're probably just getting into the office.
-
I'll change to topic anyway and then hope for the best.
-
Hope you enjoy your time with your cousin and his girlfriend from Germany!
Thanks, Freddie!
-
We were completely down for thirty or forty minutes.

I haven't seen them yet. I'm going to ketchup on the rest of "today's" posts, then move on.
