Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Stepford Notes, and now it is time for you to post until the Stepford Cows come home.

And the word of the day is: PHLEGM!

So yesterday, I went to my mom's house to help her get ready for her nephew's visit (her sister's son, and my cousin). My niece and I did a bit of yard work, then we (of course) played Phase 10, and I won! :D
-
DR KEVIN H have a good time at the wedding!
-
Feel better vibes for MR BK.
-
The A/C man will be here in about an hour.
-
It made me laugh when she was giving a speech that Secretary of Edu-ma-cation kept calling A-Eye - A-One.....LOL dumbass.....just like the idiot that appointed you.
Hey, Linda, how much of his crypto did you have to buy to get appointed?
-

Vibes for an easy fix to the A/C!

Wow, it was real. How had I missed that?? Thank you, Jrand!
About it being a good thing for kids to have A1 in school.
-
I guess there's a lot at steak.
-
Good morning, all!
-
Another poor night of sleep. The cats behaved; my body did not.
-
DR singdaw, I hope your toilets arrive today.
-
I guess it's been hinted at for months, that ALW's Phantom if the Opera is set to be revived in a new off-Broadway production. But there are more details.
OFF-BROADWAY NEWS
Diane Paulus Will Direct NYC The Phantom of the Opera Revival
Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Music of the Night" will be heard on West 57th Street this season at Masquerade.

Aye Aye, Sir!

Or it is Aye One?

Good morning, friends.

More interviews today. Believe it or not, we are already starting to hire and train for the next Open Enrollment (Nov 1).
-
Or is that November "I"?

singdaw, do you deal with Medicare too, or pretty much under 65s?
-
I guess because I was looking up bio info on Gypsy Rose Lee, YouTube decided to bring me this catchy blast from the past
Tony Orlando & Dawn - Say, Has Anybody Seen My Sweet Gypsy Rose (Live)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noQbpLjrCtY
-
There are folks over 65 that perhaps don't qualify for Medicare (due to not earning enough "quarters," moved to this county as an adult, etc.) that we deal with. But no, we don't deal with Medicare at all.
-
Tony Orlando. And DAWN!
-
I remember seeing Tony Orlando's solo act live onstage, actually in Orlando Florida, IIRC in 1990.
-
I wonder if anyone thought it was Tony Orlando and Don.
-

I never thought of that. Thanks for answering, singdaw.

Interesting question.

It even brings us to page 2!
-
And before 9 a.m. Eastern - That's ahead of yesterday.
-
Yesterday was such an easy game to play.
-
Sayz the Beatles.

Good morning, all.

Good morning!

DR KEVIN H have a good time at the wedding!
Thanks, DR Jrand!

This is a Friday that feels like a Sunday, due to our various goings-on here.

Me too! Wordle: 3/6

Kitty cleanup[ is finished. As soon as I make the bed, I plan to lie down with any cat - Stella and/or Thatch -Annabelle has retired to her closet (a Shakespeare reference) - and maybe nap.
-
I have had four hours of good sleep.
-
And either this is the worst allergy week in history or I have a real cold. But given how my nose is behaving it feels like allergies.
-
Good morning, all.
-
A not very good night of sleep. I blame the steroid shot.
-
Must rise and work.
-
TOD:
Kanopy is streaming Anora. Maybe that. If there’s time for a movie.
-
So tiresome. If my runny nose calms down I'll try for more sleep. But I think birthday party and doctor are out.
-
Good morning.
-
I think I'll try for more sleep.
-
After I finish the Ricola.
-
On TUBI yesterday I watched a documentary on CLUE THE MOVIE. It had some nice interviews but nothing really THAT interesting.....it was nice to see interviews with some cast members and the director.
-
Well my compressor is shot....well the compressor on my heat pump - and it costs over $5000 to replace it.....it was suggested that I just get a new unit.....I said thanks and will think about it.
Mostly I would think about where $5000 would be coming from....not that much capital in the bank for sure....what with eggs being the price they are.
-

So sorry to hear about that, Jrand.

A cute short video -
Rick Astley tells the story of how he got Rickrolled for the first time
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/oN66YqCMT1E
-
When the compressor is shot, it's time to replace the whole thing.
-
I forgot to report that I successfully rickrolled my DH when he took the car.
-
I then rickrolled myself when I drove the car next.

LOL!

From DR Laura:
It's my way of not having to move a bucket of water around and have a wet floor.
Is it a great way to clean a floor? No. Is it good enough? Yes.
;D
When we moved here Keith took over the job of cleaning the floors. He was already doing the vacuuming.

DR Freddie, it is likely good if it only expired in May. I would just prime it again, if you feel the need to use it.
-
DR Kevin, enjoy the wedding.
-
Kevin, good job on Wordle yesterday. I'll let Keith know as he like to hear everyone's scores :)
-
DR Freddie, it is likely good if it only expired in May. I would just prime it again, if you feel the need to use it.
That sounds right!
I probably should splurge and get a new one to have around the apartment, anyway.
-
From DR Singdaw:
Does anyone have any experience with "high pressure" shower heads?
I can tell you we didn't get those :(
-
Keith had the plumber remove the water saver in the rain tree shower head he got. He forgot to do the same for the detatchable one that I am using ::)
-
Even without removing mine the pressure is about the same on them both. Mine is adjustable but I could turn the knob very well. I still need to experierment with it more but I'm fine.
-
From DR John:
Can’t remember back that far. The doctor who prescribed the Flonase said it was not the drug’s fault and tried putting me on insulin. I fired the doctor. Two days after stopping the Flonase, blood sugar dropped 300 points, a day later it was to its normal high, well under 200 points.
Oh my, good call firing the doctor. I can understand him not thinking it was the drug, but certainly going off of it and rechecking was the first option before giving you insulin.
-
I'm really glad I went off of the Rhinocort years ago and didn't go back on it last spring when I was tempted.
-
John, I'm sorry you missed the bats. They were not worth damaging your car.

Good day from Bora Bora. Actually rather stormy this morning as I listen to Tony Orlando and Dawn on Spotify.
-
Well, I lasted about three minutes back in bed. I guess that's not happening today.
-
I'm out of Kleenex and a lot of other stuff, so I did an Amazon Fresh order - should be here soon.
-
Cancelled birthday party and doctor. Rescheduled for July 25.
-
Flonase will be here sometime this afternoon. Free same delivery. Got a two-pack. Hoping it works better than the damn Claritin-D.
-
This from The Ed Sullivan Show is like nothing I recall ever seeing before.
Karen Valentine (in 1963) lip syncs and dances to Eydie Gormé's recording of "Blame It On the Bossa Nova"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHs5D15uje8&list=RDmHs5D15uje8&start_radio=1
-
More Sambucol in the same order.
-
I myself was just dancing to Blame It on the Bossa Nova.
-
Video, please?
-
John, I'm sorry you missed the bats. They were not worth damaging your car.
My friends’ car. It was a big ‘un, built for Texas roads, not fording Texas rivers.
-
Read a lot this morning. Back to writing.
-
DR FREDDIE I believe that was Karen's Talent Winning routine from the Miss Teen USA or something similar pageant....
She talked about it on a talk show many many years ago and they showed the tape.
-
LOL DR LAURA.....
And of course now I FEEL shot!
-
DR FREDDIE I believe that was Karen's Talent Winning routine from the Miss Teen USA or something similar pageant....
She talked about it on a talk show many many years ago and they showed the tape.
Thanks for that info!
I'd love to see what came in second!
-
Amazon Fresh just arrived - think I'll eat chili cheese and onion hot dogs for food today
-
Nose seems to have calmed down - so weird.
-
Really bad Supreme Court news: six justices who refuse to put the Constitution before their Lard and Bastard Tramp.

LOL, it is rather unusual but cute.

I didn't realize, or remember, she was a Miss Teen winner.

I agree. I'm sure her personality had something to do with her winning.
-
An Alabama woman married to an Iranian immigrant says her family regrets supporting President Donald Trump and his aggressive immigration policies after ICE detained her husband over the weekend as part of a recent round-up of Iranian nationals.
They believed in his Trumps immigration policies and truly believed that only criminals were being detained.
And now they are caught in the trap. I think the punishment is greater than the crime of ignorance.
-
DR Kevin, enjoy the wedding.
Thanks, DR Jane!
-
Kevin, good job on Wordle yesterday. I'll let Keith know as he like to hear everyone's scores :)
Thanks again!
-
DR JANE I agree her personality was much more impressive than the routine she learned in Miss Ludie's basement in Sambastepol.
-
;D

Made it to Austin. Waze said it would take 58 minutes to get here from Marble Falls. It took 95. I hate driving in this city.
-
Thankfully I didn’t believe Waze and I got here with a few minutes to spare.
-
It’s a mass wine tasting. I hope I don’t discover too much I have missed. I essentially finished the book this morning. It ended up being 27,000 words. I know I will have to cut.
-
I also have two places to go tomorrow.
-

Groan.

Thank goodness your allowed extra time.

Good luck and enjoy the wine tasting event.
-
And I just discovered one place is temporarily closed. Oy.
-
I teased Keith that he was under under pressure to match the HHW Wordle scores today.
-
He showed me and got Wordle in two ;D
-
Congrats DR JOHN G....betteer to have to cut than add..................
-
And I just discovered one place is temporarily closed. Oy.
Too bad.
-
The Humane Society is having fees waived on adoptions tomorrow. So Aunt Sassy will probably be getting a kitty.
-
Do you think her cat will prefer a kitten or an older cat?
-
She'll get a young one. Her current cat is 5 and still acts like a kitten. She'll be glad to have someone to play with.
-
And she will probably get a calico, because she knows how much I want one.
-
https://www.azhumane.org/adopt/?petTypes=cat
-
It didn't work the way I wanted.
In the filters, put in "cat" and "Papago Park."
-
And she will probably get a calico, because she knows how much I want one.
That was my next question ;D I hope you find the perfect calico kitten tomorrow.
-
I was told I was not to bring one home for myself.
-

I heard that on the news today but didn't pay much attention.

In the filters, put in "cat" and "Papago Park."
I will try that now.
-
It didn't work the way I wanted.
In the filters, put in "cat" and "Papago Park."
I had to put in the zip code.
-
Do you see a calico listed? If so, what is her name?
-
I was told I was not to bring one home for myself.
LOL, that does not surprise me.
-
The last time I surprised Keith with not only one but two kittens he responded exactly as I expected, now I can get another dog ;D
-
That isn't the easiest website to navigate.
-
Maybe the website is just unusually busy right now and as a result is sluggish.
Correction, I am in.
-
Really? Did you use the link I posted?
I had to put in which location is all. I didn't have to put in a zip code.
-
When I click on the link, it takes me to Adopt A Pet. The "cat" tab is already clicked. It didn't keep the "Papago Park" tab when I posted the link.
-
I think they just posted some new ones. There were only 12 pages earlier.
-
Once I got in I only saw 5 pages. I'll look again tomorrow. Again, good luck. I expect you will be going early.
-
Very sorry about your financial new$, DR Jrand74. :-X
-
A new kitty in AZ! I am overjoyed.
-
Well, the good news is, two new toilets have been installed.
-
The bad news is, it involved a lot of chipping of tile and swearing.
-
And painting and tile work will have to follow.
-
But they are in and functioning.
-
So there's that.
-
Listening to Barbra Streisand duet with Bob Dylan on her new album, out today.
-
They say we may get thunderstorms here tonight.
-
Over the past week there have been tornado warnings in the state, but not in our immediate area.
-
Vamping.
-
One more.
-
PAGE SIX
-
I am trying to figure out how 27,000 words compares to, say, the length of one of BK's manuscripts.
-
Is High Society a good film? I see there is a new transfer out. I will look forward to BK's repor.
-
Good night, friends.
-
And others.
-
Is High Society a good film? I see there is a new transfer out. I will look forward to BK's repor.
I love the Cole Porter score. A friend and I used to play a drinking game every time we watched it. And we watched it often.
-
I survived Austin. I hate driving in the city.
-
Glad I went. I found out I have to revise a section in the book.
-
Having a late dinner.
-
Starting the new Taylor Jenkins Reid book, Atmosphere. A character is named John Griffin. Odd.
-
I have finished all 73 hours of The Tale of Genji. It was quite the journey.
-
It was the first novel ever written. It’s more than 1,000 years old. The woman who wrote it had no form to follow. What she created is a marvel. And occasionally frustrating. And brilliant. And exhausting.
-
Good night, all.
-
Been entering proofer one's fixes most of the day.
-
Hot dogs for lunch.
-
Watched a movie.
-
Have used a lot of Kleenex.
-
Had some cough syrup.
-
Got some Ny-Quil for bedtime.
-
Nose is runny, then it's not, then it is, then it's not.
-
Cough is the WORST.
-
Page six?
-
No George - AGAIN?
-
Not very sporting.
-
New notes are written.
-
Plan is to get to bed by one after a hot shower.
-
George had become quite the night owl, staying out till all hours, eating radishes and wild berries - I mean, what gives here.
-
Can't even get off page six.
-
Ridic.
-
I mean, I'm as sick as a dog and I'M here.
-
But George? Nooooo - he's out wearing a toga and painting the town various colors and trying to explain to everyone what Phase Six is.
-
Finally.
-
Now, get me off this damn page.
-
I hate this page.
-
This page gives me the willies.
-
I do not like the willies.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
