Good morning.
-
The problem with going to bed early is waking up at 1 a.m.
-
Good morning, all.
-
The problem with having a "wellness" exam in the morning is getting up early.
The problem with getting up early is waking up WAY too early and not getting back to sleep.
-
So here I am.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept very poor;ly, a lot having to do with the fallout of my fall, so when the alarm rang at 5:30, Annabelle, Thatch, and I had a serious discussion and went back to bed for another hour and 15 minutes.
-
I am now up and sketchily moving. I'm having some balance issues this morning. Everyone's had some breakfast, and after kitty cleanup, I have to make a basement trip with the recycables and garbage.
-
After that, I need to vacuum and then I need to clear off my worktable. I have to write a fugue to open the ballet.
-
DR ChasSmith, I cannot remember if I answered your question from Monday evening: yes, the North Carolina School of the Arts. which is now part of the University of North Carolina, during John Mauveri's reign as dean, produced that womderful recreation of Oklahoma!
-
Yes, and I thank you for that. One of our very talented gals here started school there last year and loves the place.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
And others.
-
I've seen a very excellent review for the NY revival of The Baker's Wife (not on Broadway).
-
Good morning, all.
-
I wish I had another hour of sleep.
-
Back from a visit to the vampire.
-
Five people have me in their carts.
-
When I was doing my chemo - all of us were in one room and each of us had a small cubicle with a tv and two chairs.
-
It took about an hour.....and then I had a little bag like a purse that had another dose of chemo in it. I wore it over my shoulder and slept with it, too.
Regular session was on Tuesday - so I had the portable on Wednesday and Thursday. Went back on Thursday to turn it in and then I was off for 9 days.
That's when I had had a port installed on my left pec so it was easy.
-
The End.
-
It's been a morning of hell, beginning with my efforts to get a too large carton containing two reams of copy paper onto the elevator using the walker and a cane. It was bad enough getting it onto the elevator and worse getting it off while the , as I was yelling for help and the elevator alarm rang and rang, Jen showed up, as did my neighbor below me Jacquie and her neighbor on four, marine Chris Muncy. They extracted ose all the timeme, the carton, and the walker. Jen told me I could always ask her for help and my response was that I did not wish to impose all the time - I really did not expect all this tsuris over two reams of paper! - and Jacquie went back to her apartment. I told Chris I had a copy of Annabelle & Thatch for him. So he came to the apartment and played with Annabelle and Stella while I signed a copy of the book to him and Andie; they have a kitten about a year old now.

From DR John:
I was in a restaurant bathroom tonight and noticed something. It’s probably not wise to paint your restroom walls fecal brown.
:))
-
George, thanks for the congrats to Keith.

I don't remember extra chairs or a tv. I still go there for a shot every six months and will pay more attention to the area.
-
DR Jrand, did you find it claustrophobicat all?
-
Bruce, I did at first which is why I mentioned it to you. I expect Cedars will be a larger and more comfortable space.

I'm surprised the port wasn't installed sooner. I guess they wanted to get you started right away. Before the port how did you use the portable chemo from the bag?

If you see this Facebook banner do not click on it. It is a message that locks your computer is a tech support scam and a form of malware, likely adware or a browser-locker, designed to scare you into calling a fraudulent phone number or installing more harmful software. It is not a legitimate message from Facebook or Microsoft.

DR JANE the port was installed the week after my surgery. I had six weeks of radiation before wet chemo was started.
I did pill chemo during the six weeks of radiation....so the port was ready when the wet chemo started.
The "walls" of the chemo cells were only about four and half feet - so we could see everyone walking around the techs and they worked with everyone. It wasn't claustrophobic and it was as pleasant an atmosphere as could be expected.
-
Sorry for you tsuris DR ELMORE.....hopefully the day got better!
-
Not a lot of posting today.
-
Package arrived, BK. Thank you.
-
Going to try to see the Northern Lights tonight.
-
But the phone camera is wonky.
-
Three!
-
They apparently were seen as far south as San Antonio.
-
I’m slogging through Virginia Giuffre’s memoir.
-
It makes me feel icky, but it’s necessary.
-
I hope those emails the NYT reported about have the desired consequences.

I'm glad I misunstood. I have never know anyone to have the port put in after they began chemo.
I'm glad your atmosphere was as pleasant as possible.

As soon as I got out of bed I had the Richard Allen phone call and he got all the track revisions done.

Hi, Jane.

Finished Virginia Giuffre’s book. I feel I need a shower.

We need to finish this page.

With the right attitude.

And the right skill.

Money doesn’t hurt.

Here we go!

Five!

Wednesday evening greetings! I have no excuse - good or bad - for disappearing for a week.
-
Tomorrow is Richard’s birthday, which for me has always signified the beginning of the holiday season. In 2 weeks it’s Thanksgiving (which we’re hosting this year), then 2 weeks later is my birthday, then 2 weeks from that is Christmas. Starting tomorrow the festivities come at us fast!
-
I am going outside in a moment to see if I, too, can view the Northern Lights.
-
Happy early birthday, DH Richard!
-
It seems to be clear, but... no dice. Can't see nothin'.
-
A work colleague shared some photos from her front yard from last night.

-
Good night, friends.
-
And others.
-
Couldn’t see anything either, Singdaw.
-
Bummer.
-
But I did see a blanket of stars and planets. Cygnus was particularly beautiful.
-
I'm also watching "All Her Fault" and enjoying the twists and turns.
We're now through six (of the eight) episodes. Still liking it very much!
-
One is a mango angel pie, with a pureed mango mixture atop a meringue shell.
They both sound very tasty!

Nice photos! Thanks for posting them, singdaw.
-
We also watched Episode 9 out of 10 (in season 4) of THE MORNING SHOW tonight. So next week, the season will be over.
-
They seem to only do a new season every two years, which would mean season 5 won't be until 2027.
-
Good night, all.
-
Page five, my ASS.
-
Back from rehearsal.
-
We have our final boy.
-
He'll join us tomorrow night.
-
In the big sixteen-page courtroom scene, I got all the numbers staged, finessed things and I think it's going to play very well.

What a coinkydink! My mom and I went to Panda Express and I had Orange Chicken...just not extra crispy.
-
I hade a "plate" and also got Kung Pao Chicken with chow mein as the side.
-
It was all quite tasty!

I had Totino's pizza rolls. :)
-
My mom's friend Mona bought a box of 100 Totino's pizza rolls at WinCo for only $2.98!
-
Mona didn't really like them so she gave them to my mom.

Mom didn't really want them so she asked if I wanted them.

I love pizza rolls, so I took them home. :)

Here's a picture of the box:

After I left mom's, I went to WinCo to see if they really did cost only $2.98, and they did, so I bought another box!

I've always found the Panda Express Kung Pao chicken too spicy.

I just have.

New notes are written.

They just are.
-
Right next to the box of 100 in the freezer case was a bag of I think 150 (or maybe 200...I didn't look to carefully) Totino's pizza rolls for $11.97! :o
-
I am assuming the boxes of 100 rolls are on deep sale!
-
Definitely worth it...I just might go back and get another box. ;)

Found two Texas cookbooks with some good pie recipes.
