Well, you've read the notes, the notes referenced both right AND wrong Quicksand movies, and now it is time for you to post until the right Quicksand cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: LARGESSE!

Oh, my!
-
Oops, forgot to lock yesterday.
-
Yesterday is locked.
-
Don't even think it isn't.
-
Because it is.
-
It could not be more locked even if I had more locks on it, along with bagel and cream cheese.
-
Locked, I tell you.
-
See for yourselves.
-
Yesterday's day of posts is still open. I guess BK forgot to lock it. ::)
Never mind. :)
-
Don't take my word for it.
-
No, it is locked. Have you looked at it recently?
-
Locked is what it is.
-
I looked and couldn't get in.
-
Because it is locked.
-
No, it is locked. Have you looked at it recently?
When I posted my post about the day not being locked, I didn't refresh this page, so my post was posted literally just seconds after your posts, so I didn't see them.
-
This is a test post from my tablet.
-
My phone must be wonky. Every post today (so far) and many from late last night that I posted from my phone have taken over a minute to actually post! :o
-
No problem at all from my tablet, so far. :-\
-
Even refreshing the page on my phone takes forever!
-
I hope that it's a temporary thing. I'll restart my phone as I perform my evening ablutions, and hopefully, that'll fix things...hopefully. Most likely, it'll be fine in the morning.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept rather well, cuddled up with Miss Annabelle and Thatch, who seems back to his old self this morning. As soon as I announced breakfast, all three cats lined up at the cart. Hopefully, whatever was ailing my little boy yesterday is now a thing of the past.
-
Most of my morning will be tied up with cleaning off my worktable. I'm hot to start this ballet, but I can do little until that table is free.
-
I need to spend some time as well looking over the four charts my student sent me. We meet on Monday.
-
Good morning, all.
-
My last completely "free" day. Tomorrow, Hell Week beginneth.
-
Mind you, it should be about the easiest Hell Week ever. But there's always Fresh Hell that can walk in the door at any moment.
-
Eleven years ago today I posted this on Facebook:
And I am home from a wonderful show, Kritzerland at the Triad, featuring the songs of the Sherman Brothers. It was quite a wonderful evening and Bruce Kimmel was a charming, funny host, just the kind you want because you know that with him as a guide the journey will be fun, a little crazy perhaps, and full of heart.

Wow, yes it was. Went both nights and had a wonderful time.
Now, will someone please tell me ... where did fourteen years go?
-
And another anniversary:
On this date exactly one hundred years ago, the premiere of The Phantom of the Opera starring Lon Chaney.
-
Rehearsal vibes for MR BK & Co.

I am a bit under the weather this morning....but perhaps it will get better.

Good morning, friends.

And others.
-
I don't have any pie.
-
Darn it.
-
We are having more dinner guests tomorrow night.
-
The old apartment was so small, we couldn't really entertain.
-
So this morning I was back at the getting place.

I am a bit under the weather this morning....but perhaps it will get better.

I love this film! No one - including Mr Lloyd Webber - has done Gaston Leroux's 1911 novel better.
-
Has anyone watched Twelfth Night yet on PBS?
-
I'm up, I'm up - six hours of sleep.
-
I got a photo of the packaging the poster arrived in bent. BIG STAMPS all over it saying DO NOT BEND. Well, someone at UPS bent the thing in half as is very clear in the photo. I'll file a claim after rehearsal.

From DR George:
(http://The main sweetener is allulose. I don't know if that's an artificial sweetener or not. :-\ They also use stevia.)
Thanks. I don't know if I have had allulose or not. I do not like stevie. It also has other additives, as most of these drinks do.
I will buy something to keep if I have an emergency, otherwise I will continue doing what I already do, drink plenty of water. I often drink water with lightly salted peanuts and these drinks all have salt/potassium added.

I was reading on the treadmill, finished chapter 31 and the book would not turn to chapter 32 :o
From George:
Oh, my goodness! I would hate that!
I would to if I actually cared about the book ;D
-
From George:
At least it works again!
I had that happen once before so I was sure the book would return eventually.
-
George, thanks for the congrats to Keith.
-
DR George, if you do ride in the car if a sick person, both of you should wear masks and then you should air the car out.

Ah, so The Unknown was my second Lon Chaney movie. But I saw Phantom a very long time ago.
-
TOD: For Michael Keaton, Birdman is my favorite. After that would be Batman and Batman Returns.
-
Has anyone watched Twelfth Night yet on PBS?
I didn't know Twelfth Night was on PBS! Is this last year's Public Theatre performance? I think it was last year.
-
TOD Part 2: For Michael Caine it's harder, so many movies, many of them longer ago, but I'll go with Sleuth.
-

It's the Public Theatre one from this past summer in Central Park.
https://playbill.com/article/with-twelfth-night-great-performances-is-showing-that-it-is-defunded-but-not-defeated
"on November 14, Great Performances will broadcast Twelfth Night. And not just any production of Twelfth Night—the one that ran this summer at Shakespeare in the Park in New York starring Lupita Nyong'o, Peter Dinklage, Sandra Oh, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and a host of other well-known names."
-
Caine’s great in The Muppet Christmas Carol and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
-
I can’t think of a time I’ve really enjoyed Keaton.

Jane, is it electrolytes you are needing? (I'm behind, because I was out of town several days.)
I don't actually need them yet. It is a possibility I will as I go through the side effects of reducing my prednisone. I thought it would be good to research my options and have some just in case I need them.
It is possible the drop in my meds will cause my BP to drop and it already tends to be low. I am already dealing with a bit of virtigo and don't need more caused by low BP.
Hopefully I won't have a problem. I figure it is better to be prepared and not have an issue than to have a problem and not have a solution handy.
-
Michael Keaton:
I loved him as Batman so,
Batman and Batman Returns
Night Shift
Beetlejuice
-
If it's electrolytes -- coconut water has the electrolytes naturally. The Vita Coco in the white box is pressed -- very tasty.
I found coconut water to be vile when I started using it. I guess I got used to it. Still not my favorite, but it does the job.
-
Caine’s great in The Muppet Christmas Carol and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
He is great in everything, even the not so great films he has done.
-
I've probably posted that before.
-
Michael Caine:
Sleuth
The Ipcress File
Educating Rita

Thank you for the suggestion. I have seen coconut water seems to be the best option. Not only do I dislike it intenstly, it does not agree with me. I couldn't eat fresh coconut when I was young, only toasted. The last time I had fresh coconut water (right off the tree) it made me sick.
Still, the Vita Coco might make for a good option to keep in case of an emergency. I'm on their website and a few are in the white box. Do you remember which one it is by name? None of them say "pressed".
-
Pressed coconut.....incorrigible.....like Kurt Von Trapp.

Hannah and Her Sisters
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

I have a question. How do ya'll make those links that say "click here" and you don't have the whole stupid link taking up so much space?
-
The first coconut water I tried had another fruit juice in it. It was vile. A friend told me to try the plain, which was a little better. But I got the pressed one once and actually liked it.
-
I drink one in the summer if I feel a little "off." It helps.
I also drink one before a blood donation -- just to prereplenish (which is not a word).

I saved this sample from DR Ginny years ago and still use it, just substituing the new link and what I want to say.
This is a very touching story of a flight with a fallen solider on board. (http://travel.yahoo.com/ideas/fallen-soldier-213011521.html)

DR Laura, your link would look like this (use quote to see it)
Pressed Coconut Trial Pack (https://www.amazon.com/Pressed-Coconut-Trial-Pack-16-9/dp/B07W85RC6V/ref=sr_1_42_us_f3_0o_fs?adgrpid=1335907199753893&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.6g2LkJE84DQA6i8KsBDB32UX1rm17wDypjzP9DZoB3mNumEzyQTsEhDQpqyu3Y7WhvIj8JMeMYlAPzRqyGyypx12voFgkEm2Pe45gJW1qz8B81IFdfx2pFy8D89HTgRuaOlAZqLSHRV-2g-cQa13LcIB1qjz9Bs0g-HI49AFabUkVKIMMTp8yzxBCqlCAUHPgVjOj0nIJMcbfxKfJFrj6iGe-ZNpfuHXs6JrAcAuUqT3vD9WKs1KuXJkv9L5leiOHzlRI7d0F2Mk0QZBTKtKkf50prc9d3kZdX067Iodjtc.sGScbNUge8cC-NzPHUpeMLxeCCGSXC1KvU8FlXAiv8M&dib_tag=se&hvadid=83494522833823&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=78414&hvnetw=o&hvqmt=e&hvtargid=kwd-83494562468120%3Aloc-190&hydadcr=4409_13230925&keywords=vita+coco+coconut+water&mcid=c21ce84a381e3580ad15d8fea2fe18ab&qid=1763244741&sr=8-42)

Back from rehearsal. Drilled a lot, but most importantly, got most of a duet number staged with me and the dance captain doing it. I think we got eighty percent of it done, so I'll figure out the last 20% here.
-
I didn't want to sit in a restaurant, so stopped at the mail place, opened a claim for the package the UPS screwed up, then came home. Took thirty minutes to decide on food and I'm not sure I even wanted what I ordered - fried catfish.
-
Bruce, how is the rain today?
-
But how do you make it into those few words?
-
I know I am not explaining it well. Where the sample I showed from Ginny says "This is a very touching story of a flight with a fallen solider on board", replace it with what you want to say to go with the new URL address.
Does that help?
-
If you hit "Quote" on that post, you'll see the magic words and punctuation that make it happen. Hope that helps!

I almost forgot, Keith got Wordle in five.

It's a LONG show!

Both acts were 90, count 'em, NINETY minutes long...each!

And that didn't include the 10-minute intermission.

I wasn't able to follow along as well as I would've liked, but I'm working concessions for it next Sunday, so I'll get a second crack at it.
