Well, you've read the notes, the notes answered the question, and now it is time for you to post until the questionable cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: MAGNANIMOUS!
-
Happy birthday to Freddie's Skip. His birthday gift is us doing our put-together of two favorite Kennon songs from Time and Again - She Dies and the title song, sung by Robert Yacko.

A Very Happy Birthday to Skip!! :D

After last night's show was over, we ushers had to pick up leftover programs, then I got to say hi to the people I knew. That's always fun. Then, I drove a fellow usher home, since the busses stopped earlier in the evening. Then I finally got home.
-
I was just about to post that as the first post of yesterday's page seven, but the day got locked right before I could. Oh, well. :)
-
Good morning, all.
-
Up early this morning to spend the day at the theeder.
-
And that's about it for me this morning. Have a great Sunday, everyone!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I stayed up later than usual, so I slept in this morning. I had a curious dream that combined Kim Criswell and the Trojan War, although I remember little of it. Earlier, I had an even stranger dream about the bodega arund the corner from my apartment. The first strange thing was that my mother was in the dream, and I lied to her to cover my desire to get to the bodega, where my inquiry was what kind of peanut butter did you put on my sandwich?
-
Good morning.
-
There's a marathon that has closed the streets all over town. I can't get out of my neighborhood today.
-
We're supposed to get California's rain this week.

Is Thatch still doing better?
-
I saw a preview last night for the PBS broadcast of Twelfth Night. It's my favorite Shakespeare comedy, so I think I'll pass on this one.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Bad night of leg cramps.
-
Is Thatch still doing better?
Yes, he seems to be fine. He slept cuddled up with me, and this morning he rode about on my cart while he flirted with me and I rubbed his tummy.
-
Bad night of leg cramps.

Dunno. Does wine have potassium?

Happy Sunday... time for another Broadway Radio Show episode! Kristin Stultz Pressley returns to the Broadway Radio Show to chat about her book Jukebox Musicals, another edition in the Essential Musicals series from Bloomsbury Publishing. Kristin and I take a deeper look at Crazy For You, Rock of Ages, and Beautiful as we discuss the history and future of this often debated genre of musical theatre.

I'm glad Thatch is feeling better. I swear, sometimes cats just act that way to get attention.

Sandra's kitten got sick a few days after her shots. The vet said kittens are notorious for swallowing junk. After a few days, she threw up a couple of hair ties and has acted just fine ever since.

From DR Singdaw:
I tried clicking "quote" but still can't figure out the coding.
Type whatever you want or nothing, then add a link after = & before the last bracket (http://)
Then, between the two brackets with a b inside, add what you want the link to say when you click on it.
Personally I find this more confusing, photos would probably be easier. CLICK ON THE QUOTE to look at my sample again from.
This is a very touching story of a flight with a fallen solider on board. (http:// http://travel.yahoo.com/ideas/fallen-soldier-213011521.html)

I just attended church by Zoom, since I can't get across the street. Now I know what people see when I'm worship leader. And I know not to sing when I'm anywhere near a live mic.
-
That's funny about not singing.
-
How was anyone able to get to church this morning?
-
Looks like a lot of people had trouble getting through the closed roads this morning.

Pretty!
Thanks from Skip, Jane!
-
I could have gotten there on the road on the west side. But I'm on the east side. Somehow I'd have to get around the closed roads to get to that entrance. I simply don't go anywhere on marathon days.
-
And I know not to sing when I'm anywhere near a live mic.
:)
-
And I couldn't have picked up Sandra for church today. The road outside her complex is closed.
-
I washed and folded tablecloths for the Thanksgiving dinner next Sunday. So I was still busy.

They really shut down the town for this.

It does. I worry about anyone who has a medical emergency during this. Emergency vehicles would have a very difficult time getting through.

Please don't anyone talk about the plot of this version. Part of the fun for me is seeing what they've done with the book this time, so I want to be go in without knowing. The link was fine, I'll just save it for after I see it.

Happy birthday Skip!
-
We saw Fun Home last night and enjoyed it. The two folks we knew in the cast played the parents and did fabulously. The rest of the cast was good too, especially with the acting.
-
We had never been to this company before and they have a nice small theater. Though the stage might be even smaller than the one we use at our opera company! Fortunately they only needed 9 people in that space with no chorus in this show.
-
I'm up, I'm up - five hours of sleep. Have been up since nine.
-
Thought I'd already posted that.
-
I hadn't.

But I thought I had.
-
Had a bagel, lox, and cream cheese for snack to take pills by.
-
Later snack might be a couple of eggs on an English muffin - that way I can have something after rehearsal.
-
Up from a nap.

Yesterday, while my son was doing his climbing class, I went in search of a “lost” cemetery I’d read about. The British Columbia Penitentiary Cemetery. My GPS led me to a cemetery I’d already written about, a cemetery from an old asylum. I tried a different GPS and it led me to a park a couple miles away. Using the walking function I realized I’d have to walk up a ravine and a hill I’d just come from. The first GPS was right. The penitentiary cemetery was near the old asylum cemetery but hidden behind a high rise apartment tower. Back I went and there it was. Took some photos of this cemetery where the graves are only marked with the late prisoners’ numbers. None more recent than 1960.
-

But while on that detour drive, I’d noticed yet another municipal cemetery, so I went and took some photos. This is all in New Westminster, BC. We have a photo call out for people to send in images of birds in cemeteries so I was able to capture a couple and some other neat headstones.
-
I look that cemetery up this morning and now I’m kicking myself because it is the place where Raymond Burr is buried. So I’ll go back and get a photo of his grave next week.

He was buried in the town where he was born. I'm curious if he has other family members in the cemetery. I found the answer :)
-
"in the family plot alongside his parents. The grave is a flat marker located near the cemetery office."
