I have heat!
It started up around 6:00 last night, but I wasn't sure because last week, when I opened the radiator, I thought all was well. So, I was awakened sometime around 4:00, when I heard the furnace starting up - a familiar sound after 45 years - and when the apartent was toasty at 5:45 when the alarm rang, I knew all was good.

I can take a much needed bath this morning; it was too cold to run wet and naked the apartment the last five days.

At some point today, Joshie is brimg me a lot of High Spirits scores ro work on over the next two weeks.

So, as I left Home Depot a week ago yesterday, I put my glasses in my jacket pocket to keep them from getting wet, and by the time I got to my car, I didn't find them in my pocket.

I looked around the parking lot as best as I could and asked an employee to help look, and she couldn't find them, so she took my contact info and I left for home, driving carefully because I didn't have my glasses.

I have been wearing a fairly recent pair, so the prescription isn't too bad at all, and although I was thinking about buying a new pair from Costco, I probably wouldn't because these aren't bad enough.

And now we find out that the assistant they got me cannot be there again - Covid. Well, I was next to her all last week on the two days she was there and so were the rest of the company.

Back from a surprisingly okay run-through for the author and costumer guy. Yes, pacing was slow, blocking was sloppy, but we got through it without any train wrecks and after we were done I gave a nice talk about how I don't tolerate sloppy blocking, we ran a few things and now we're off until January 2. Everyone has promised they'll come back ready to run the show.

I am sick - at least I have a scratchy throat - not good and truly irritating. So, some matzo ball soup is on its way from Canter's deli and hopefully that will help. Now, I'm ordering some NyQuil. I need proper sleep as I must be better for the Do.

So, last week, I bought a new phone on Amazon, and it arrived today. :)

I just finished setting it up, but here is a picture during the setting up:

It's a Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G | 2024 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D5PFR7DK), and so far, I like it.

Before I started setting it up, I turned on the phone and skipped all the setting up just to be able to see how it works, especially the camera, and most fortunately, it's a pretty good camera!

I took the picture above on my tablet because both phones were indisposed.

You can see the icon for apps at the top had been installed, and the lower icons were still installing. It's all done now!
