Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of book 28, and now it is time for you to post until the 28 cows come home.

Another weird day: the morning was good, and I finished all my Encores! work. Then Joshie came by around 1:00 to pick up my work and deliver a lot more. I fed myself and the cats, and things changed for the worse. I kept feeling queasy, as if I were getting nauseous but hadn't reached the point of being nauseous. After I cleaned up the cats' and my dishes and given them their treat fr being good kitties, I lay down to watch Nicolle Wallace's interview with Claire Danes. I kept smelling smoke, which alarmed me, after already goin g through two fires in the 1970s. I couldn't tell if the smoke was coming from outside or if I was about to be in one, so I got up to check.

As soon as I started to move, my stomach did a somersault, I turned from the window to the kitchen, started to move, and threw up all over the floor. I;m very happy I missed Thatch who was sleeping in my computer chair. I spent the next hour cleaning myself, getting the soiled clothes into the laundry, and mopping up the floor. After kitty cleanup, I will do a fast mop of the bathroom and kitchen areas.

DR John G, I hope your next book will be a collection of the absolute nadir in gastronomic endeavors; you are like a pig with truffles in unearthing these disgusting recipes. You can call the book Dishes for your Disposal. If you played your cards correctly, it could be like the cookbook equivalent of the original Jonathan and Darlene Edwards recording, which outraged buyers returned because it was so horrible. The buyers missed the fact that the two hands on the keyboard were both left hands.

BK, I have periods of being unable to get my hands to work, and when this occurs, I attribute it to either tendonitis or arthritis. Since most of my physical issues are the result of degenerative arthriti, I suspectpect that's the primary issue with my right hand.

Elmore, you need to keep vomit vessels around your house. I keep an empty coffee can (with a lid) in the car. And I've used it.

Something that's right nearby with a lid, so you can lid it and toss it.

I had a dream last night. One of the teen girls I was in charge of (maybe I was a social worker? I don't know) invited Irving Berlin to her apartment. The apartment was kinda messy, and the floor really needed to be vacuumed. There was nothing in the apartment to serve to a guest. I figured there would be the three girls, me, Mr. Berlin, and his driver who would be coming. I took out the trash, and when I came back there were about 50 people in the room, sitting on risers, waiting for something. I didn't know which one was Mr. Berlin, so I was shaking hands with all the old men.

I have no idea what brought that on.

My dream was one of the most bizarre ever, but I don't think I'll ever remember more than a snippet of it.

The dream itself was that I was waking from a whole string of dreams, each probably unrelated to the next, but the string itself was unique and fascinating to me. I lay there in bed thinking that by God I'll write this one down, regardless of what it'll take to explain everything. BUT... I'm almost positive that was part of the dream itself. I didn't really have a series of dreams, I simply made that up in the dream.

I'm sure that made no sense at all. I'm still mulling it over. One or two flashes of something are still trying to break through.

When I lived in Atlanta they played in the Peach Bowl against Tennessee. It was a much more minor bowl game then. Played in old Fulton County Stadium. A big deal for the Hoosiers though. But nothing like this madness.

Our heavier frames on the walls are secured with "quake proof" backings.  We have a lantern and smaller flashlights, batteries, and water.  That's about it.  We barely have canned food stocked up.  We were much better prepared when we lived in Ashland.

No wonder the music is so great. Allen Gray scored pre-Hollywood Billy Wilder and a handful of great Powell and Pressburger films.

Our heavier frames on the walls are secured with "quake proof" backings.  We have a lantern and smaller flashlights, batteries, and water.  That's about it.  We barely have canned food stocked up.  We were much better prepared when we lived in Ashland.

I think some of my shelf units are secured to the walls, but not all of them.

Back from a really fun first time back in two weeks. We spent the first hour getting used to the stage, just with the opening number. Then we ran everything but the last fifteen minutes of the show. Everyone off book, some line calls, I changed my mind on where one musical number happens and that worked so much better, and then the courtroom scene, which is the final location of the play, I had to move where I had the judge - couldn't see her from everywhere in the theater - an easy fix.
