Time to work on my speech....short and sweet....and then to bed.

I'm sure you'll do him proud.

td - Had dinner with Ann Miner and some other folks.  Were your ears burning briefly around 7:05 pm?

BK - Ann couldn't imagine any reason that the "Back to Bacharach" press release wouldn't have been posted on All That Chat.  Are you sure it was sent to them?

I was scratching behind my ears at that time. . .I thought it was just the volume on Mum's teevee. . .

OK... It's been a sort of long day today, and tomorrow will also be quite the "stretch", so...

Goodnight.

I remember he posted the first two days under the new name, but he certainly hasn't been back since - he's obviously missed out on Laurette, and knowing him as I do it's not going to make him happy.

“I play great music. People like the music I play. But it’s funny because my father would not have thought about music for me. But I do. I think I have an ear for music. They play a note, like on the piano, and then I remember it to this day. And then they’d ask you other questions, and then they’d play notes later on, and they’d say, ‘Which is the note we played from one hour ago?’ And I’d, like, get it right, I guess.”
