My memory is that the car was $14,000 or so, but that the interest that I actually paid was only $400, but that doesn't add up, so I really don't know what interest I paid, other than not very much.

I really haven't done much with it recently, but my mortgage is going to be paid off probably by the end of this year, so I figure that it's better that I actually get a new (or fairly new) car rather than put any more money into it.

It's been a few years for me. The last time was when my sister, niece and I visited our cousin and his wife in Oregon.
