I wonder how that would go over on the dance floor?

My goodness, DR George. I'm exhausted reading that schedule. I try not to schedule not more than one thing each day. But of course, I hardly ever go out.

I WISH I could schedule only one thing per day, but as the saying goes, "Life is what happens when you're making other plans."

If you were dancing with Munchkins, it might be OK.

I love to dance most any dance, even the ones I used to not like until I learned them a little better.

But my favorites nowadays are tango, hustle, waltz, quickstep and, of course, the Twist.

Watching a weird one that just came in to the library: Strange Lady in Town. Greer Garson is the first woman doctor in Santa Fe. Dana Andrews is Rork. According to the poster, "She was the one woman Rork didn't want in Santa Fe ... but he'd kill anybody who'd try to make her leave ..."

A very young Lois Smith is quite wonderful. The theme song, well sung by Frankie Laine, was a hoot. "Strange lady, strange lady ..."

I think this the first western I can think of with a rendition of Ave Maria in it.

I saw Dana Andrews give a perfect performance earlier this week in The Best Years of Our Lives. He's sadly uninteresting as a male chauvinist in this western.

It's already tomorrow here in South Carolina.

Many of you are in the last throes of Saturday, but Sunday is on its way.

And, it's the FIRST DAY OF SPRING!

I watched two TCM movies tonight in their entirety.  They are doing their 31 Days of Oscar scheduling, and this afternoon and evening I watched "Gandhi" from start to finish (my first complete viewing of it, I must admit), and then I watched "Out of Africa" (my 16th or 17th viewing).

I think Ben Kingsley was marvelous as "Gandhi", and the story was very interesting.  Not a movie I'd want to see start-to-finish again, perhaps.

"Out of Africa" is one of my top five favorite films.

And we're done!  Only tonight's cast party and tomorrow's matinee, then it's over!

Has anyone read Hanya Yanagihara?

I had to wear one when I was an usher at a Jewish wedding.

Not particularly interested in any of the teams playing in the NCAA tonight....both Purdue and Notre Dame are playing tomorrow.

The Notre Dame Leprechaun is not a BIG costume, but a guy dressed in a leprechaun suit and he is most enjoyable.  Thursday, on St Patrick's Day, when they played he and the cheerleaders did a very nice Irish jig.....  Fun!

Gonzaga played tonight.  It turned out to be a great finish of a game.

Tootsie was silly fun. Definitely not an F-.

That critic hates everything at Gammage.

Gammage's sound system is notoriously awful. I do wish I could have understood more of the song lyrics.

Doesn’t the theater have headphones available for the hearing impaired?
