With visitors this weekend, I haven't had enough time...but I am reading it, just not as quickly as I'd like.

The only time I've played a trucker.

I loathed the director of that episode, but loved Linda and Vic, with whom I'd worked before, and Dave Ketchum, my fellow trucker - he and I became friends - but especially Beth Howland. She and I hit it off immediately, and in fact we went to dinner and the movies together. And she was such a doll when she did tracks on a couple of my albums.

But the director - I really had to bite my tongue a couple of times.

She's one of only two directors I didn't like - everyone else I worked with and I worked with a lot of directors, was very nice.

We shot Alice at Warner Bros. and it sounds like it was a three-camera with audience, but I have no memory of an audience actually being there. I'm sure there was.
