I wish I didn’t know it existed.
I also saw a horrific variation on Luby’s lime congealed salad. So many evil changes. The Midwest version uses Miracle Whip instead of mayo. Then it adds pimentos and horseradish sauce. I’m still reeling over both additions.
I don’t think Sondheim had congealed salad in mind when he wrote that lyric.
