Yesterday’s show was grueling. A full house, but we finally got our payback in the form of a classic dead matinee audience. What a difference in the effort it takes to keep the energy going for them. We wuz spoiled!

Fortunately they hadn’t brought kids, but I’m told this one family sat stoically silent and disapprovingly in the face of the adult comedy before them, and then left at intermission. I think that had happened to us at one AVENUE Q performance, too. Amazing.
