I went to rehearsal last night for a couple of hours before I realized that I really didn't need to be there at all. :-\ They were working on zombie interaction with a fight choreographer and I have one scene where I shoot some zombies, but that's all I do.  I don't otherwise interact with them, so I didn't need to be there...so I left...with permission from the director.

I was conversing with the youngest of our regular cart-wranglers at work (regular meaning not still in high school and therefor working during the daytime), a fellow named Justin who thinks he knows a lot about movies.  Ratatouille had just been released on DVD, and we had it on sale, but Justin didn't think the movie was all that great.

So I asked him what his favorite CGI animated films were.  "The live-action Transformers," he offered.  "And the live action Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer, that was cool."

The line between what is animated and what isn't is blurring.  And some of the audience is pretty well blurred, too.   :-\

Good morning, all!  The Big Meeting is at 4:30, attorney and two brothers.  M has told Randy he's going to behave this week, whatever that means.  I want to chill out and remain calm all day because I don't want this going to pieces this afternoon.  I'll be glad to see the taxes and this round of nonsense accomplished.

This morning, a stop to the estate bank and then back here for a day of work on the Men's Chorus december concert and Ashley's orchestrations.

Before I forget, I have a question for all you DRs: when it comes to car rentals, which company do you prefer?  I rented my car yesterday from Hertz and I am appalled at the cost for the week!

DR elmore - Have a calm, cool, collective and constructive day and meeting this afternoon.

As for car rental companies, I usually go with Enterprise too.  Their online specials/discounts are consistently pretty good deals in my experience.

If in Dayton you paid more than $172/week you didn't shop wisely.

Best rates for Hertz are from thier HLE (Hertz Local Edition) offices, NOT the airport or major hotels.

To shop competition, I use Expedia.com (They quoted lots of choices for &172/week)

Enterprise/Budget and Hertz HLE offered  the same price.

(All quotes are for an Economy car)
