Well it's time for my last visit with Cinderella and her lovely family. I must say that this is one of the nicest companies I've ever had the pleasure of working with--especially encouraging, since so many of them are kids.

I enjoyed the final episodes of GUNSMOKE on the DVD set. In the last episode, Carl Betz was the guest star, a year before becoming Mr. Donna Reed on TV. He's gorgeous.

Looking over the stack of review discs here, I saw that another TV set comes oput on January 8th, so I put it in to see what it was all about. It's ROB & BIG, an MYV series about the advantures of the champion professional skateborder and his 416 pound bodyguard. It's foolishness pure and simple. Amazing that it's beginning its third season on the air in a week or so.

Same premise as MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST (star with entourage going about their daily business) , but that's funny, and this is just inane.

I watched about 6 episodes and some special features (deleted scenes and a "making of" documentary), plenty to let me know what this show is all about. I'll sample an episode or two from the remaining three discs.

Another from the stack of backlogged review copies is THE TWO JAKES, and I'm going to watch that tonight. Doesn't look like there's much in the way of bonus features on this so I should be able to finish up with this disc this evening.

Ain't it the truth. And yes since it's obvious on big screen TV - I would guess the doubling would be VERY obvious on THE big screen.

Didn't even seem to be her sliding on her feet down that long water slide in MDM....but then again, if she gets hurt, the movie stops.

Well... We shopped here. We shopped there. Steve bought some stuff, I didn't buy anything.

We did come across a "new" store while we were driving around called Federated Warehouse. I put "new" in quotes since FW used to be in another location under a different name. It's basically a home decor store that features old and new store fixtures, theatrical set pieces, and other large items.

Their old space was a smallish storefront, and this new space was their warehouse. Well, now the warehouse is the showroom, and they really have done a wonderful job of putting everything on display, and since the space is HUGE, there's plenty of room for strolling and browsing.

They had a couple of these "figurines" on display:

They were part of a Show Me America display/diorama that toured the country. In person and up close, they are truly detailed and luxuriously made.
