I first listen to them in their original Sound Designer files, which have no compression.

Tonight I'm going to the farm and home store to get some rubber boots to wear when I shovel deer poop out of my muddy yard tomorrow

A little potential disaster averted: Our next title for Kritzerland - one of the tracks didn't make it onto the iDisk so I had no idea of its existence.  Fortunately, the mastering guy caught it - it was easy to figure out, the final cue - so we added it and now we have it right.

Speaking of Kritzerland and listening to more music, "Married To It" just arrrived!

I loved Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone.  I think my brother had a coonskin cap at one time.  If he had it, I wore it.

Hoping people like Married To It - I am very fond of it.  Our next release is also particularly pleasing to me.

Also, some other CDs that I'd ordered have arrived today.  I love being able to send them to my work...I don't have to wait till I get home to find out if I have anything and then have to wait to get back to to work to listen to them!  I got the original Broadway cast recordings of Do I Hear a Waltz?, It Ain't Nothin' But The Blues and Jelly's Last Jam (it's autographed by Gregory Hines!!), as well as the recording of the play "Beyond Therapy" by Christopher During, which was produced by BK!  None of these are new, but they're all in very good condition. ;D

Funnily, even I don't have Beyond Therapy - while I completely finished mixing the album in terms of its performances, I hadn't replaced some temporary sfx (gunshot especially) and the fools who put it out didn't bother fixing or talking to me about it.  Rather like the Sherman Brothers Album where they left half the band off.

I think I may make a sardinacado sandwich!

They're great - made one yesterday!

der Brucer

I need to be carfeul of can disposal - Fletcher would love to get a hold of it and would probably cut his tongue; he also likes to dump the trash can to check for discarded goodies.

Turned out to be just sardine---I haven't been home and the avacado went south. But still, a sardine sandwich is good, too!

I am going to see Dame Edna and Michael Feinstein's show tonight -- All About Me.

That's cool that they wrote a whole show about you!   :)

And yesterday, I received (from eBay) a VIDEOTAPE of The Irish...and how they got that way!  This is a commercially produced video shown on TV (NOT a bootleg) and it's in practically new condition.  It's the original Irish Repertory Theatre production, but with one or two cast member changes from the original CD (also produced by BK).  Donna Kane isn't in it.  I forget who else is different (the late Rusty Magee is still the pianist).  But it's great!  I'm curious if anyone here knew that this video existed.  It's not even listed on http://castalbumcollector.com/, which I'll rectify this evening. ;)

DR George, I remember seeing it or the CD around places like Barnes & Noble and Tower several years ago. I never knew Rusty Magee, but I love his wife Alison Fraser. I haven't seen her in years. She and Rusty were neighbors on 82nd Street until they had their baby. Then they moved out of the City.

I love "The Fields of Athenry." I arranged it around 20 years ago for Frank Patterson for one of his St Patrick's Day shows at Radio City. I used to get ASCAP royalties for his recording of "America the Beautiful."

Yikes!  I shut down abruptly a while ago because we had a doozy of a thunder & lightening storm.  Must be spring.

I had a coonskin cap when I was around five or six.  Fortunately, no pictures still exist; but if they did, I would burn them.

I had a coonskin hat when I was young.  I have no idea what happened to it.  Every once in awhile I see them for sale in a gift shop.

I think I did , too - all four of us had them - hence, my penance of ye metric ton o'cat food each summer to the descendants!!(how do I post a picture???)
